Cardio Coach - volume 1

Has anybody used this one - even if it was a long time ago. I just tried the treadmill workout Cathe suggested and got hooked - thought cardio coach would be fun!! I am new to "running" on the treadmill and did a combo of hill climbs and sprints. I want to get cardio coach volume 4 but am a little nervous. Thought voulme 1 would be a good place to start and it is also 30 minutes which is the most I can do somedays.
Okay, I'm rambling. Would appreciate any input you may have.
Thanks

I have CC 1-5.
Volume 1 is short, but it's a nice intro to CC.
You can easily start with CC1, then get other volumes (and even combine them: I did CC2 --minus cooldown-- followed by CC3 the other day).
On the other hand, you could get CC4 and skip the last challenge and get a workout a little over 1/2 hour.

Also, though CC5 is longer than CC4 ( a bit), quite a few people consider CC4 to be harder, because there are fewer breaks between the challenges.

Thank you. I think I will definately get CC1. It sounds like you think CC5 might be better to get next over CC4 or am I reading a bit much into what you said. As for the motivation and music between CC4 & 5, which do you like better. I wish the clips were a little longer in the sample they give on the CC website.

Just wanted to take a moment to let you know that I always read your posts. I have learned a lot from your responses to people and wanted to thank you!

HI
I have cc 3 4 and 5 love all of them... I think they are great and would love Cathe to do a similar workout cd...

Hi Sami!!!!

I had CardioCoach long before I had my treadmill. I used cardiocoach to guide me through my outdoor jogging. The sprints are easy to replicate outside...just pick up your pace. The hill challenges varied for me...sometimes the hill challenges came about when I was actually tackling a hill. I found that for most hill challenges, i just substituted sprints.

All in all, Coach Sean just helped me get through my running sessions, as they don't come easy for me (unlike push-ups)!}( }(

I LOVE these work outs...try them!

For those who did CCs, how do you use it? Play it in CD walkman or mp3 machine? Which one is better if you can choose? CD Walkman or Mp3? If Mp3, what kind of mp3 player is better? I don't like to carry things while I am running. But I don't want the one the memory is too small to play whole volumn.

Thanks

Thanks Tammy!

BTW your pics are georgeous! You have such a good looking family. AHHH yes, I will never forget how easily you pumped out those push-ups at Cathe Camp!

Sami

Hey Cass, they might still have Vol 2 as a free download. I got the whole thing for free to try it out, fell in love and bought them all!!
