Cardio Coach Press Play....TODAY!!!! It ROCKS!

I wasn't going that fast as my sprints were at about 7.7-7.9 and my regular pace was about 6.5-6.3 (depending on the incline). I did take some extra time to cool down (about 3-4 minutes), and the 8.25 was after cool down. I also think it is a lot easier to cover mileage on a treadmill.

I think the important thing (and how I've always trained for marathons) is how much time you log. When I was training, I knew my marathon pace, then figured out how long it's supposed to take me to run a certain distance and then just ran for that amount of time.
 
I agree!!! It was SO COOL knowing that so many of you all were doing this "with" me. It really kept me going when I felt like I was going to hurl. :)

We need to do this again!!!

Lorrie-I am not sure I'll be walking 15 feet tomorrow!!! ;)

Here's a question for you CC people (so far, I have done iTreads but this was my first CC). When you are in steady state or sprints on the treadmill, do you take the incline all the way to zero (I do)?

I loved this workout but I do miss Grace telling me what numbers I should be at!

I will say that the music in the workout ROCKS!!! It is so motivating!!!

Just checking in with the PPers to say I did IMAX 1 this morning,while thinking of all of you. I did check out CC website, and it looked like a lot of fun! I will buy it!!

Great job EVERYONE!!! :D I agree, I think CCPP Saturday is an awesome idea! Last Saturday of each month? I'll be there! :)

Lorie, I also take my incline all the way down to 0 during the steady states or sprint-only challenges.

I'm up for PP Saturday (hee hee...pee pee Saturday!).

I can't imagine doing the sprints with an incline. I don't think I could go as fastly. I love being able to put the incline down to zero!!! I love doing the sprints but I HATE the hills!!!

I am having some serious stomach issues right now...ugh!

Hey y'all!!!!

Yesterday was absolutely insane. After I finished CC PP, I got in the shower and then was ponding for the rest of the day untl about 7:30. I have tons of pics.

Now, about my experience. It ROCKED. Lorie and Gayle, I also bow down to your mileage. I'm not that fast either, but what an amazing time I had. This is cheesy, but I was actually picturing us all together, on our treadmills and ellipticals in a big gym. Debbie, I waved too, when he mentioned you:) And I did a big high five with everyone when I was done. Yeah, I'm weird:p

I'm definitely up for a PP day once a month. That workout kicks major butt:)

And yes, Shannon - GET IT!

Oh boy, you are in for a real cardio treat!! I love them ALL, but my personal favorites today (because it changes often:p ) are revised vol. 2, vol. 3, and vol. 4, and that's only because those are the ones I've been using for the past week. I really love them all. My FAVORITE is the Choose Living Press Play workout, the one we did collectively yesterday. You can check them out and listen to clips at www.cardiocoach.com. Let us know which one(s) you get!

I'm so excited that everyone is on board for the Press Play Saturday idea. So, on the last Saturday of the month we'll meet here again and report for roll call :D :D :D. I think I'll check in on the Cardio Coach forum, too.
 
thanks for the input Michelle...I am getting the choose living and revised vol 2 to start. Im very excited to try them.

Will we all be doing the same workout on the last Saturday?

Yes, we'll be doing the Choose Living Press Play workout on the last Saturday of the month. We don't want to leave anyone out so even if you don't have this workout, or any Cardio Coach workouts, you're still welcome to join us in the group effort with the workout of your choosing:)

The Revised Vol 2 is a great one to start out with!
 
I've never heard of this before, so I checked out his site.

Wow - that is very cool stuff! It'd be great to have something like this for when I ride my stationary bike. :)
