Cardio Coach and Cathe

Miss Lee

Cathlete
I was just perusing the Cardio Coach website when I came across a link to Cathe.com on his Community page. He had some pretty nice things to say about Cathe and his fans who post on her forums. :)

Cathe Friedrich is believed to be (by many, many people) the single most effective video fitness instructor & personality. With legions of followers, Cathe has built a very impressive community of women (there may be some men?) who are not afraid to tell it like it is. The women at the Cathe community have even banded together to have their own "Cardio Coach™ Press Play Days", where they coordinate their schedules to do a workout on the same day. To all my wonderful girls at Cathe, please accept this hug as a thank you for all your support.

>*sniff* That Sean. He's such a sweetheart!!!

He really is!! I have a great deal of respect for him. Between him and Cathe, I'm getting this old tired body whipped into shape :)

I'm planning to make another donation to the Choose Living Foundation this year. Press Play is probably my all-time favorite cardio workout and I have an emotional and spiritual attachment to it, and to those who participate in the Press Play Saturday challenges.

How neat, I never noticed that before. Cardio Coach for cardio and Cathe for strength - they go together like peanut butter and jelly in my world. :9

LOl!! I couldn't agree more. I've been doing the 4DS rotation but substituting the cardio segments with Cardio Coach and, occasionally, some walking workouts. I can't step or kickbox to save myself so I'd be lost without CC and my elliptical ;)

I think I'm going to get a gym membership and start using these workouts on bikes and ellipticals now that my knees are so bad. I think I have to take a break from Cathe cardio for a while. ;(

Can you tell me which Cardio Coaches are good? Which ones would you recommend for a kick-butt workout that makes the time fly? I don't know how to choose. Also--can I download these or do I have to buy the cd's and have them shipped to me?

TIA!!!

Allison, I LOVE them ALL, but if it's a "kick butt" workout you want, I'd definitely get volumes 4, 5, both 6's and 7. A lot of people feel that V6 with Candace is more challenging that Sean's version -- I love them both. Volumes 1 - 3 are great for days when you want a good workout but you don't have a lot of time.

You can download them -- you don't have to buy the CD's.:)

SWEET! Thanks, Michele! Wow, I never thought I'd be excited about doing a non-Cathe cardio workout. I'm looking into the i-Train's too. Gayle (Banslug) has so many good things to say about those!

Happy knees, here I come!!!

Allison, I like iTrain, too. I use the iClimbs which were designed for the elliptical. The CC workouts can be used with any equipment. It's nice to use a bit of both for variety, but CC is my first love and what I do the most. :D
