those that have this workout, do you like it? i'm debating on buying it and wanted some more details about it. is it challenging? I have pure barre, p57, squeeze, etc. can you compare it to them?

i have the 4n1 b/c i figured from the clips that his style was going to be slightly different then other barre workouts. i say if you have a sense of barre workouts then this is another good one to have. the pace makes it cardio like and you have to keep control. i haven't done past beginner personally b/c i am just afraid to go up. i find beginner workout comfortable right now.

the cool thing about 4n1 is you get an instructional, more slower pace of the workout, beginner, intermediate, and advanced. so you can progress without having to buy another dvd(unless you make to inter/adv then you can buy his ultimate advanced workout which has a long total body workout, lower body and an upper body/abs workout but i don't have that one).

i don't have p57 but i see similarities just basing it on the clips. cardio barre also does some traditional floor work like leg lifts and pilates style ab crunches.

I bought Ultimate Advanced CB and wound up returning it. I didn't like the male instructor, the moves were too fast and uncontrolled, I couldn't wait until it was over, and I didn't feel nicely worked out at the end. Maybe if I'd started with the more basic workouts, I'd appreciate this approach better, but I have no desire to purchase them. The Squeezes are my favorite barre workouts. I also like doing Cathe's B & G and Legs Glutes with no or low weights.

I love Cardio Barre and have both DVD's. I like the instructor and the "differentness" of Cardio Barre. I always think going into it that it's and "easier" workout day, but in the middle of it and when I'm through, I know that's not the case. I too have P57 and I think P57 and CB compliment each other well. My thighs/quads get more work in P57 and my butt gets more work in Cardio Barre and there is a lot more leg work with the leg lengthened. It IS fast, but if you take the time to perfect the beginner workout then move to the intermediate then the advanced, it's fun and a great workout!!! Squeeze is different from CB and P57 b/c it doesn't have cardio in it although my heart rate gets up there at times with the Squeeze workouts. I have all the Squeezes, P57's, and CB and I like and use them all and feel they compliment each other very well! Have you checked out the clips at www.totalfitnessdvds.com? That may give you a good idea of what the workouts are like.

Edited to add that you do need to take the time to use form so you can learn control. It works you in a completely different way from Cathe.
