Tuna is a great source of protein and very convenient for me as I am always on the run. I only eat it by draining it first in water to release the "fishy" water though. Anyhow, my gripe is when you drain and measure on a scale it only comes to about 3 oz. which is slightly under what I like to eat in one serving but don't want to open another can so I just use the one. Why then does it say on a 6 oz. can that there are 2.5 servings at 2 oz. each?
That would result in 32.5 g protein when 3 oz. drained from that same can is only like 20 grams? Am I making any sense????? x(
Thanks for any help with this, I like to get my protein grams pretty exact and this has always baffled me. :*
