Can you do floorwork everyday?

I've been into the floorwork lately because I want to strengthen my knees. I usually do it without ankle weights, or if I do use ankle weights I keep it light, no more than 2.5 pounds. I'm not usually sore the next day, so I should I take a day off?

I did "floorwork" every day, in fact twice a day, prescribed by my physical therapist after a severe hip injury. I did leg lifts (front, back, inner, outer), hamstring curls, and butt lifts (whatever they're called). I also had to do side step ups and alternating steps onto a step box. I did 20 reps of each with 3-lb ankle weights - Except for the stepping - no ankle weights there. I did that for four months, 2x/day. My therapist recommended that I continue it at least 3x/week. Hope that helps you some way!

When one is doing physical therapy, the PT will often recommend doing higher-rep, low weight exercises on a daily basis. Just remember to stretch well to keep everything in balance.
