Ok, so I posted this in the Video and DVD Questions forum but people don't respond there very much so I'm pasting it here for all of you lovelies to respond to!!!

I know they're not similar at all but I'm trying to do a month of GS workouts and tonight I should do Legs but I'm not really diggin' the GS workouts and don't feel like doing that leg workout tonight. I just recently purchased the GS workouts and they're not clicking with me for some reason. :( I have a craving to do Butts and Gutts. I know many will say that I should sub PLB for GS Legs but I don't feel like doing that one either! UGH! Any thoughts? Thanks!

Do the workout you love! If you force yourself to do something you don't like, you will not put the "oomph" into it right? Well, at least that is how I am.
I am not a huge fan of GS Legs, the floorwork part drags on forever, I prefer Butts and Guts or PLB-that is probably my fave lower body workout, it seems to fly by, but I hate the static lunges with all that weight!:) Legs are just hard anyway...

Allison,
I recently purchased GS legs, and after doing it a couple of times I've decided I like BG much better. Plus, with all the premixes there is plenty to hit allllll the right places!}(

Of course! It's your workout! No need to come ask permission of the workout avoidance police!!!!

We all have DVDs we prefer and others that just have a huge dread factor. You gotta do the workouts that please and work for you, bearing in mind that sometimes what we avoid is exactly what we need and should be doing, if only occasionally, because our body does need it.

I have never done B&G but I really cannot imagine it's that much different from GS legs. The floor work of GS legs is outstanding and the most comprehensive Cathe has produced. I personally prefer it ten times over to PLB floor work. But PLB standing work is a personal fave.

B&G is more of an endurance based leg workout in my humble opinion. The rest periods are considerably shorter than with GS legs. Kinda like Leaner Legs, but with alot more fun "moves" and floorwork.

I think you could probably build more overall mass and strength with GS though, it allows you to go a bit heavier than you could with B&G. But PLB is such a goodie, it seems to fly by which I really, really like!:) In fact so does 4DS Legs!;)
