Can Anyone Suggest A Rotation?

MuscleGuy

Cathlete
Taking stock of my Cathe DVDs, I've realized I need some sort of set rotation instead of just doing them randomly. However, I'm totally new at making rotations. Can anyone suggest a 1-week or 2-week rotation based on these DVDs?

Boot Camp/Muscle Endurance
Kick Max
Drill Max
Kick, Punch, Crunch
Slow & Heavy
Gym Styles - Back, Shoulders, Biceps
Gym Styles - Chest, Triceps

My goal is to build muscle while maintaining cardio fitness.

Thanks for any help.

I've just realized I posted this in the wrong section...could someone move it to the Rotation section, please?

thanks

Hello There MuscleGuy!

I usually alternate strength training & cardio days. Example:

Day 1: GS Chest/Triceps/abs
Day 2: Drill Max (cardio only) LOVE this one!
Day 3: GS Back/Shoulders/Biceps/abs
Day 4: Kick, Punch & Crunch (cardio only)
Day 5: Slow & Heavy Legs (you don't have Gym Style legs?) You need to get GYM STYLE LEGS its a goodie.
Day 6: You can either do another cardio of your choice here or you can also put in yoga.

Another example is to substitute Gym Style w/Slow & Heavy for your 2nd week's rotation.

For the 3rd week you could do an endurance rotation.

How does this sound? You can also (if time allows) do one body part per day putting in cardio after your weight training to really tap into your glycogen to allow for a decrease in body fat. You can also get ideas from the Rotation Forum. You need to check that out. These are just some suggestions.

Thanks, Kathy...that sounds good. You have some great ideas on how to mix things up. Definitely food for thought...

I don't have GS Legs...it's next on my list after Muscle Max.

Thanks again!

MuscleGuy :)
