calories burned

I didn't know this but you can go into the workout manager and you select one of Cathe's DVD's and it will give you a ballpark # how much you will burn. Dani gave some instructions in another thread. here is a link.

Be wary of the calories listed in the Workout Manager. I use a HRM set up for my own MHR, not the 220-age formula, and I am consistently much lower than what the WM says. I really hate that, as it makes me feel I'm not working hard enough, which I know is not the case. I really wish that feature was not included or that we could turn it off.

I just watched Cathe's tutorial on using the calendar and noticed that she shows over 700 calories burned for doing the bootcamp premix of Bodymax2. I can tell you that when I run for 45 minutes in my target range (above 70% of max HR and below 90%) using cardio coach, I burn around 500 calories. I think her estimate (just from this one example) is waaaay high. I thought that as I watched the tutorial and then I saw your post. I was wondering where the heck she gets that number. I wish it were true. But then I also always wondered how accurate the HR monitor is also.
