So recently I've been adding in a cardio workout in the morning, in addition to my regular workout in the evening after work. I recently noticed that my left calf is really burning during my cardio workout (mostly Turbo Jam), especially during the football drills. Could this be some type of injury, or maybe my left calf is just a lot weaker than my right? It's not pain per se, it just feels like I did 100 calf raises before my workout! I've been adding in a stretching segment everyday, and that hasn't helped either. Any ideas on why this is happening or how to make it go away? TIA
I just started TJ and my calf muscles are very tender. More than when I do calf raises. I don't do a lot of cardio, 1 because I hate it and 2 because I don't want to lose weight. I do a lot of strength training. But since I started TJ, next TF, I am enjoying cardio, and have more energy. I assume my calf muscles are just trying to adapt to a new exercise. Linda
