Calendar Problem Entering Calories

Once I completed my workout. I clicked the arrow at the side (by the way which I can't see, I just hovered my mouse until I find it) and then I enter the amount of minutes and calories and click save. When I go back to view, the minutes are still there but the calories are "0". I don't know what to enter for METS, so I leave that blank.

If you don't enter a Met value calories cannot be calculated. A Met value is a measure of how intense an exercise or activity is. Rest has a Met value of 1 while step aerobics on a 8 inch platform has a met value of about 8.5.

What is the MET value of STS - Disc 1 and 2. I don't have a clue what the MET value would be for most of my DVDs. Is there a way to bypass the MET Value and just put in the calories manually?

I just guessed and put in 5 for the MET value and then manually put in the calories (455) that I burned but it was reset to 368.75 and would not stay at 455? Is there any easier way to record the calories? My watch does not give me the MET Value.

STS workouts already have their Met values and times filled in. If you're not seeing your calories burned it means you have not filled out your information in the "settings icon" and/or you have not entered your weight in the "weigh in" icon. Without your weight calories burned cannot be calculated.

me too...

SNM:

I am having the same issue with none of the minutes/calories/met values are showing up for any of the STS workouts. They do for other Cathe DVD's I have entered or were loaded from the STS 3 month rotation. for example, tonite I did Gauntlet and modified the duration to 60 minutes. it calculated all the calories burned for me... but when I go to Disc 1 of STS M1, W1, D1, all those values are Zero...

I can only assume that if they are showing up for some workouts that I have entered all the appropriate information because I checked my Weight info in Weigh-in portion and it's there...

any suggestions?

thanks,

I double checked and I did have the settings and weigh-in already filled out.

In the Settings Icon, I don't really see much to input. I inputted my height and I selected lbs for weight and kms for Distance.

In the Weigh-in section, I entered my height and my goal is set.

Let me know, if there is anything I else I can do?

Is there a problem that needs to be fixed.. why I am not seeing the time, Met Value and Calories? or is there something that I need to do. I would really like to input my calories.

Thanks for bumping Debbie ~ I would like to know as well :)

mets

I'm having the same issue, I've filled out the information, weight, etc. Mets are never shown, just come up as blank. I also never get a BMI or weight graph or table event though I re-set my weight once per week and save it. I do track my calories on another website, but it would be nice to be able to use this feature.

well... not exactly... I just logged out of WM and logged back in. I have the 3 month STS rotation (new edition with all the cardio suggestions updated) and still the only DVD's that show any durations, calories or MET values are Non-STS workouts.

However, if I add a new STS disc individually, all the stats show up... I already had to delete the STS rotation once and re-enter all my modifications of the cardio to fit my needs... any suggestions besides loading each STS disc separately? I would prefer not to delete the rotation again :) for those on the 6 month rotation YIKES!

thanks for your continued help in this matter :)

It looks like I jumped the gun. We have fixed this issue, but only on our test server. Hopefully, on Monday or Tuesday we can move the corrected version to the live server.

Thank you!!! Yesterday, when I did the workout (disc 7), the minutes, MET Value and Calories was there. The only problem is that the calories are not what I burned. On this particular workout, I burned more but when I put my calories in, saved and went back, the calories were changed back.

Is there a way to manually input the calories and have them remain?

I didn't realize it until today, but I have this same problem. I just checked and all of the calories burned information I have entered (through spot checks) for the past month have reverted to the value set by the WM, which is rarely even close to what I actually burn.
