I’m baaaaaccck! :7 :7 :7 Internet was just restored this evening. Whew! Just went back and read all the posts I've missed since Saturday. My phone is capable of connecting, but it’s a bit of a hassle, so I've missed my girlfriends over here!

Angie :: LOVE all your smileys…Glad YogaX is getting better…how’s your throat today?…No, we won’t be having a Halloween party, but the kids are acting out skits…On Thursday, they’re reciting a poem. They do this once a month, and I provide refreshments but within the new nutritional guidelines. I used to love to bake cupcakes or cakes for them, but it’s probably better for MY diet, too, that I can’t do that anymore. *lol* at the full moon.
Diana :: Whoo, GS Legs & Absolute KB sounds like a lethal combo…how was the Holiday Meltdown class?
Laura :: congrats on your big win at the slots…sweet!!…I am dressing as Tippi Hedren’s character in Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds. My students read the story and will be acting it out in class tomorrow…I don’t go crazy with decorations, but I’m another one who enjoys Halloween. On Sunday afternoon, I vegged out and watched a bunch of twisted, unheard-of scary movies on the Sci-Fi channel. Last night, I watched Queen of the Damned. Now that Lestat is one hottie of a vampire!…Crackin’ up that you are bringin’ the torture to new generations of victims, er, students.
Wendy :: I love new sheets, pillows, and comforters!…Interesting reaction to the short cardio…I have been wondering myself if the hour-long workouts would do it for me…I suspect I do need longer cardio.
Sunday I ran 3 miles and did legs & core. Yeowch on the low plane lunges from hell! *lol* I took a rest day yesterday. (It's usually yoga or stretch day, anyway, so I didn't miss much.) This morning I was supposed to do HSC, but my back has been really hurting again these last two days. I tried my little trick of stretching and loosening up this morning, but it didn't seem to help this time. I even had a chiro adjustment this evening and thought that would make it better, but no dice. So I'm not sure if I will w/out tonight or not. Tomorrow is a planned rest day. No guilt, no guilt, no guilt. Three days in a row of not working out is not going to kill me.
