Good morning, girls! http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Happy/happy-038.gif

Angie :: I'm in shock about your MIL...It is sad, but I can understand you being a little ticked off about it, too...It's a selfish choice to make. How is DH handling it? Keep us posted on how she's doing...Hope you were able to get some sleep last night. Yoga sounds like a good choice for you today.

Wendy :: I didn't remember until I looked at my pill pack. My symptoms are sometimes pretty mild since I've been on this BC. I always get a little bit of bloating, though, so I'm sure there's a few lbs. fluctuation in there.

Hi Diana, Laura, and Nancy! Have a great day, ladies! BTW, my workout this afternoon will be a run + some abs.

Morning Folks.

I have to hit the gym, foodstore and bank this morning. Going to be getting DS up real soon so I can try and get an early start on it. If we finish at a decent time then perhaps I will bring DS to the park today. Now that the weather is cooling off, it's the perfect time for it!:)

Cathy: A few pounds isn't bad....So do you have an official weigh in day every week now that you are on WW? I would love to try something like that but I checked out the points book once and immediately got frustrated! LOL Too much info to sort through for me just to be able to eat. I couldn't deal with having to look everything up before I chose my food. LOL Glad it's something you can do though. My sister went on it years back after her 2nd child was born. She lost a ton of weight and looked fab! Then she had...ahem..FOUR more kids and well...not surprisingly gained a decent amount of weight back, although she's not as heavy as she was after #2. Anyway...she just recently went back on WW. I will probably see her at Christmas time. I am sure I will be impressed again. :)

Angie: Sorry to hear about your MIL. So sad. ;( I am actually not doing THAT much cardio. I am planning on 3 BBC or CTX cardios which are 20-30 mins a piece and 2-3 runs averaging 30 mins a piece so it's really not that bad. I just haven't done cardio that often in AGES!

I guess I should get my butt in gear now....TOODLES!

Morning Ladies!!

Well my friend made an appnt w/her counselor .. and she was a bit better .. but still scared and still riddled w/guilt. Her daughter is scared to stay in the house ... he son wants to beat the crap out the guy (which would probably do some good) ... and of all things .. the hospital let him CALL HER last night .. OMG x( x( I was so freaking pi$$ed off ... WHY on earth would they allow that? Sent her right back into being scared to death .. which on some level is better than being riddled w/guilt .. she is begginning to finally get MAD that he is doing this .. and I hope she keeps being mad instead of feeling guilty!! It is just a freaking MESS!!! What is bad I found out my other friend worked the ER and this guy threatened her that night .. he basically told her that she HAD to get my friend down to see him... that he would remember her not helping him when he saw her next ...  .. wTF?? luckily she has the law on her side .. by law she could NOT do what he was requesting!! but yeah ..this guy has LOST it!!

Diana ... OMG woman .... how in the world do you lift that heavy!! no wonder the cardio on BBC is hard for you . . your dang legs are dead!!!

Wendy .. had me a couple of CABS last night while watching Dancing w/the Stars .. (I love that show) .. after the stressful day had to unwind!:D

Angie .. I am so sorry about your MIL .. and I certainly understand the sorrow as well as the anger!! that is to be expected ... my mother went thru a BAD phase after my father's death .. and is just now getting her life in order (thank GOD - and knock on wood)... my thoughts are with you!!

Cathy - Byron is a little chatty but that is one thing I like about him .. his words are so descriptive .. you don't even have to look at the screen!! so gentle and calming too ..

OK .. TB .. is just about healed!! I still can't sit straight up .. but cardio is back up to par .. and abs are about 95% now .. YAYAYAYAYAYA!!

last night was circuit class .. and OH MAN .. my buttocks, legs and abs are really feeling it today!!:)

tonight is 4 step TORTURE class!}( }( }(

OK .. better run .. have a great day .. and great sweaty workouts!!:7

Hi Ladies,

I had to switch things up a little since I have to leave early to take Jerod to the ortho. This morning I did Kickbox Xtreme wish I seem to like more and more each time I do it. Tonight will be GS BSB while DH and Jerod are at football practice.

My feet are really hurting so I think tomorrow I'll have to swap MIC for Lowmax.

Cathy-I need to add in yoga but I'm just not interested enough to miss are cardio or wt. w/o for yoga. Bad, I know. I'm so proud of you. Have fun with your run and abs tonight. No, my schedule will not be staying this way unfortunately. I have to go back to phones next week.

Wendy-You have a busy day ahead of you. I'm sure Joey will enjoy the park later today. I miss those days! Oh my, did I read that right-your sister has 6 kids??? Holy Moly. Well, there are 6 kids in my family-I'm number 5. But I cannot imagine having 6 kids. Quite honestly, I don't think I could handle it.

Laura-I'm so sorry to hear that guy is still torturing your friend from the hospital. I hope she and her family are safe and make it through this tragic ordeal. 4 step torture sounds wonderful to me. BTW, I love lifting heavy. I can't lift heavy like that at home so I have to take advantage of the rec ctr when I can get there.

Angie-Sending hugs to you and your family. I'm so sorry to hear about MIL. I'm sure she is heart broken and lonely. My step mom did the same thing about 2 years ago. Enjoy your yoga/rest day today.

Have a great day ladies.

Diana

Good Afternoon Girls. :)

I am tryin' to decide if I want to play with bleach again today. LOL I haven't finished my kitchen floor yet but I'm not sure I am in the mood for that right now...
I ordered a steam mop from Target that should be here any day now. It's supposed to be an effective way to get hard floors truly clean without using any chemicals-just water. I do not expect it to get out the stain that I am using the bleachy stuff for but I hope it works. Anyone have any experience with them? My floors get really dirty because of my dog, 2 yr old and construction worker DH. x(

The run went well this morning. I upped my mileage for the work out. I have been doing it every week for about a month now and I am getting a little faster and going a little farther every time!:)

Tomorrow I have BBC chest and abs on tap + cardio. I was planning to face the BBC cardio again but my calves are really sore. I may have to forgo it if they still hurt tomorrow and opt for something CTX instead. I'll see how I feel.

Tonight I am off to train my BF and her friend. Her friend hasn't been around in a couple of weeks. Busy and then injured. Hopefully she'll be back in full force tonight!:)

Laura: Jeez, the situation with your friend seems to be getting worse! Is there anywhere that her and her daughter can stay temporarily to give all of this a chance to calm down? I definately would not want to be living at home right now if I were her!!!!

Diana: No park today. I didn't have time to shower at the gym after my run. This meant coming home to shower and by the time we would have gone back out to the park it would have been nap time. We may go outside in the yard later though. :) Yes, 6 kids! I KNOW I couldn't handle it! I can barely handle 1 kid and a dog!:p

Check y'all later!:7

Well, I played with a little bleach after all. I was bored so I figured what they heck! LOL

Now I am drinking coffee and will get DS up from his nap soon. I'll probably take him outside to play for a bit and then it'll be dinner and bathtime in whatever order sounds good at the moment. ;)

Hey girls… http://s228.photobucket.com/albums/ee296/runninteach/th_fallingleaves.gif

Change o’ plan for me. Have decided to swap w/ tomorrow’s w/out. So it’ll be HSC (a timesaver) tonight and then a run tomorrow. Since I have a personal day tomorrow, I figured I might as well take advantage of not having to run during rush hour traffic. That is the only thing I don’t like about my weekday afternoon runs. Gotta beat sundown, so I’m out there in all the gridlock. Anywho…

Wendy :: yes, I weigh in on Mondays…It really is not bad calculating and keeping track of points…The online system makes things pretty quick…I’ve never tried a steam mop. Let us know how you like it.

Laura :: sorry about the scary drama unfolding for your friend…fingers crossed that everything’ll be OK…I agree that staying elsewhere for awhile sounds like a good idea!…I watch DWTS, too…although this season there are several contestants I’ve never seen or heard of before…Enjoy your w/out tonight!

Diana :: I know what you mean about fitting in the yoga…it’s a challenge, but I don’t miss any cardio or weights for it b/c I schedule yoga (or a stretch routine) on Mondays, which would otherwise be my rest day for the week. I do miss going to live classes and have not been crazy about every DVD I've come across, but this works well with my schedule right now...Overall, I'm grateful for the counterbalance it provides to the muscles...So sorry about your stepmom.

Hi Angie!

I was going to go with the 51 min. timesaver but then opted for the shorter one (32 min.) instead. LOVED it! She sure does jump right into it. No warmup, which was the only thing I found odd about it. I have to say, my legs were already tired at the beginning. How is that possible??? My leg/glute DOMS from the other day are gone, but still, it kicked in QUICK! I esp. felt the leg presses with the band, but Wendy, I definitely want to upgrade to purple!!...Even though I modified on the tuck jumps, I am feeling it in my back again today (like after y'day's session with Baron). I am going longer between chiro adjustments now, and sometimes I can feel it when I am due. I think I'll use some heat tonight. Anyway, two thumbs up for HSC. I can only imagine what the full workout does to ya! Can't wait to try it and the other premix.

I did finish GS BSB tonight!!! I also made a crockpot chiken stroganoff that was delicious. We all at dinner together when DH & DS got home from football. I love when we get to eat as a family. It doesn't happen all the time.

Wendy-sorry you and Joey missed the park today. Hopefully the park will pan out for tomorrow.

Cathy-great job with HSC, slowly but surely you are getting into the swing and fun of stepping.

Angie-hope you and your family are doing okay after incident with MIL. How is she? HUGS coming your way.

Diana

Hello fellow cabbers

Boy, a CAB sure does sound good!...but not tonight. I want to thank you all so much for your kind and caring words. I was amazed how many of you have dealt with some of the same issues. It's the first time I have ever had to "really" deal with a suicide attempt. As a nurse, I have had to deal with it....but it certainly is not even close to being the same thing.

DH didn't get home from the hospital until about 11:30 last night and I was already in bed.....just couldn't stay up any longer. We talked a lot this morning though. He is mad about it....and hurt too. My DH is the sweetest, most passive and kind person you could ever meet, so for him to say he is mad at her....... Anyways, I was glad I wasn't alone in my feelings, even though I know my feelings are not the issue. I stopped in on the way home from work and she was sleeping so hard that she didn't hear the door or hear me yelling in the doorway. I called DH b/c I didn't feel comfortable going back to her bedroom. Thankfully our shop is only a mile away from her house. He came over and went to her bedroom and, thankfully, she was just sleeping it off. So, I haven't talked to her yet but I will stop in tomorrow after work to see what follow up visits she needs. It just so happens that my BF's husband is her doctor, so I'm gonna make sure she has appropriate follow-up visits and if she doesn't I'll give BF a call and they will arrange what ever needs to be done.

Well, after all of that I came home and did YogaX, which I usually don't much enjoy, but I think I really needed it today.

Cathy - I have HST and have never done the timesavers. What does upgrade to purple mean? You mean bands??
Damn those scales! But, ya know, they don't tell the whole story - cliche' I know, but it IS true. A Monday weigh in - yuck! My weigh in is on Friday but maybe I should change it to Monday so I would behave more on the weekends. But that's no fun.....

Wendy - Our weather here is still very warm. The weather man is calling for 80's on Sunday and 70's the rest of the week. I'm kinda wishing for the cooler autumn weather.
Great progess on your runs! Congrats on that!!
Hope the steam mop works well for you. The only tile I have is in the kitchen and bathroom so I just get on my hands and knees and scrub.:( Thankfully it's not a very big area...hardly worth getting a mop and bucket out.
Have fun with your training session tonight.

Laura - I hope the X does something stupid, away from your friend, that gets him put in the hooscow. What a terribly fearful way to have to live. I'm sure she does NOT sleep well at night. Hopefully this situation will de-fuse soon.
So glad the TB is pretty much healed. Can't keep a Catheite down for long baby!!;-)

Diana - BBC cardio is HARD! I have to modify and slow down some of the moves and I'm drenched in sweat when I'm done. It seems like those w/o just never let up.x(
I wonder too how women can have several kids. I was watching a segment on the Today show about the Duggars, a family of 19....YES 19 kids. That woman and her DH must be totally insane!! I think they are trying to populate the world all by themselves.
Oh, BTW, set another plate....I'm comin' over for dinner!:)

OK - I need to git and check my email.....there's lots since I just haven't had the time to check it in a few days.....maybe it'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Good night girls;-)

Angie
