Cabs and Abs Saturday.....

Cathlete
Good Morning Chicklets. :)

So I am driving myself insane. I now have another thought for my next tat but it will mess up the ankle bracelet idea cause it would never fit! Joey received a book as a gift when he was a baby (from a Catheite as a matter of fact!) called "Love you Forever". From the very first time I tried to read it, it would make me well up. I can barely get through it with out bawling. It just touches me that way. I was thinking of incorporating the portion of the book that makes me cry into my tattoo. Here is what it says:

I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living
my baby you'll be.

I was considering combining that in some way with his name and the picture of his "Dude" (the lamb) and possibly his birthdate too.

I am going to drive myself out of my mind with this! AAAAHHHHH! LOL Any thoughts girls?

So I can feel DOMS creeping into my legs from y'day's work out. My arms are also still a bit sore but not as bad as they were. I will be doing a back/ab circuit this morning and then off to the gym for a run once DS gets up.

What's everyone up to today?

Hey, girls! Happy Saturday! http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Happy/happy-038.gif

I love the feeling of having a whole day stretched ahead of me with nowhere I have to rush off to. A little later this morning, it'll be LL and a run.

Wendy :: Poor DH! Those are some killer hours he's working!...Very happy for both you and BF...AWESOME results in the first month!! http://s228.photobucket.com/albums/ee296/runninteach/th_woohoo.gif ... Re: your tat, I liked your original idea with the sun, moon, and stars, but maybe you could incorporate part of this new idea into it without having too much text. What about having his name and birth date, my life, my love, my son, the picture of Dude, and then just the phrase "love you forever"? Or are you gonna need to have a cankle to do this??? *lol*

Enjoy your back/ab circuit & the party this afternoon!

I have to run a few errands, clean, and do some schoolwork today. Not sure yet where we'll be heading tonight.

Ang :: *lol* about MIL...I had an aunt who was like that...great job getting in a longer-than-planned workout in your busy day!...Oh yeah, that smiley with the monsters chasing just cracked me up...I won't be able to run that early b/c it's still dark then, and I try to avoid the dreadmill at all costs. So, I'm gonna strive for M-W-F AM workouts (yoga/stretch and two circuits) and then runs on T-R-S-S. That would be great!

Hi Diana, Laura, and Nancy!

Happy Saturday everyone! Here's a happy dance for Saturday since Cathy did the Friday dance.

I feel so refreshed this morning after 10 hours of sleep. I woke up this morning and everyone was gone....they went out for breakfast and then out to cut wood. I had to do that when I was a kid and really don't enjoy it much to this day. I usually wouldn't mind, but I have too much stuff to do to get ready for the next couple of weekends. Hosting a party at home is a nightmare as far as getting the whole house presentable. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to entertaining and I think I just go a bit overboard and make more work for myself than I need to. And then next weekend is the class reunion.
Yesterday I bought a bunch of binders and picture holders to try and start getting all my lifelong picutures organized. I just have a big box full of pics....most of them don't even have a date on them. That is going to be a nightmare project!

Wendy - Hey congrats on the results for BF!:) I'll bet she's lovin life right now.
As far as the tat....sounds really neat! Maybe you'll have to wrap that thing around you trunk....*lol* I'm just kiddin with ya. :p You have a cute addiction too...
So, when is that BIG run that you have coming up? I didn't miss it did I?

Cathy - A full day to relax....ahhhhhhh! I'm jealous. Although, I don't plan on going too crazy today. It's just going to be a long day in the car...but I have BFFM and I also got the Paula Begouin beauty bible that was recommended on the main board, so I'll have lots of interesting reading.
Hope you run into the ga-bage men today.:D And no spritley things!!

OK - I really should get SB otta the way. Ummmm....maybe another cup of coffee first?

LL + a 3 miler is out of the way. I'm feelin' GREAT! It was so positively gorgeous out there. Warm and sunny but with a cool breeze. I love fall weather!!

Ang :: you're too funny! Your posts always make me smile. Glad you were able to sleep in and didn't have to chop wood. http://www.freesmileys.org/emo/chores017.gif ...I do have stuff to do today but at my own leisurely pace...Funny that you should say that about the garbage men...I didn't see them, but I *did* pass a yard sale and a major hottie http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Drooling/drooling.gif ...He and his buddy were talking up by the house the first time I went by and I didn't pay much mind...On the way back, they were standing at the curb so I got a good look, and WHOA! He was easy on the eyes. Eye candy makes for a fun run!!

OK, off to get showered and get moving here.

Hey Cabbie Abbies!:p

I am takin' a short rest before I do back and abs. I spent too much time hangin' out with my coffee cup this morning so I never got the back/ab work in BEFORE headin' to the gym so I have to do it now as I want to have my rest day tomorrow. :) I did Itread 3/40 mins at the gym. It's an endurance run that has only a few hills in it and does a little with speed. I ran it faster then I ever have I think! The interval runs I have been doing the past couple weeks along with the endurance training for the HM must really be making a difference! I am so excited!:7 Needless to say though, I am quite tired. I want to nap but know if I do that first I will NOT do back and abs so need to avoid the bedroom like the plague until the work out is DONE!

Yeah, in order to work my new tat idea in with the old one and STILL manage to make an ankle bracelet out of it, I would have to have ankles the size of my calves ATEAST!!! LOLOL Who knows...I still have time to figure it out!:)

The DOMS in my legs isn't too bad. I think it's due to the kickbox y'day and then the run today-helped to work out some of the kinks. Plus, I got in an extra stretch at the end of BF's training session. I do the warms up and the stretchs with her every time. :)

Cathy: Hope you get your chores, errands and all of that un-fun stuff out of the way quickly so that you have PLENTY of time to do your hair for tonight! ;) :7 :p

Angie: Chopping wood!? What's that!?!? Never chopped a piece of wood in my life! LOL I've never had a fireplace though and that would be the only reason I'd have to do it anyway. Stop worryin', btw, you certainly did NOT miss the half marathon. It's on Sunday October 21st...now write it down! LOL

Okay, I think my energy for chin/pull ups is not happenin' so I think I will opt for GS Back and perhaps 6 minute abs! Off I go before I fall asleep! LOL

BBL!

Hiya

SB is history! The freakin phone rang 4 times while I was doing it....which messed up a couple of my steps. That w/o definitely takes concentration!

Wendy - I'm sure you've all noticed that I don't have a mind like a trap.:-( My memory is definitley lacking....gettin old stinks. I'm also not very observant since I just noticed that you have your date in your signature line.:7 OK - DUH!!
Way to earn that nap today....now you can sleep like a baby.
Believe it or not, we don't have a fireplace either. DH just does it for fun really.....I know he's weird.:p It also nice for some extra cash in the winter when folks are looking for dry, cut and split firewood. We can sell it for top dollar since it is extremely hard to find that time of year. I guess, if you can't predict that winter is coming.....you deserve to have to pay top dollar for dry wood eh?

Cathy - It is a BEAUTIFUL fall day here as well. I just love it! It's gonna be a perfect day for a football game.
There you go again.....LMAO! A chopping wood smilie???....you have lost it girlie! *lol* I absolutely love it!
Hotties are definitely a bonus to a running routine. I need to workout in your neighborhood.;-)
So, what's the deal with your hair for tonight? Do you have a hot date on tap???

OH no.....they're home! Peace and quiet.....it was nice knowin' ya. ;(

Angie

Hey Girls,

So as far as I can tell, I'm the only one who hasn't worked yet today. I added yet in there cuz there's still hope. Jerod had a football game and they won 27-6. This is the playoffs and they have to win the next 2 games to make it to the superbowl!!

I have errands to run including the bank, library and kohl's. I want to do the CF mix & match premix later. I have so many new workouts I don't know how to fit them all in.

Wendy-you deserve a nap. Congratulations to you and your BF.

Cathy-Our weather here is perfect for running. Good job completing LL and a run!!!

Angie-Step blast is one of my favorites too. It take some concentration-you're right about that.

Laura-how nice of all you to have a fund raiser for your friend. You made quite a bit for her.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Diana

Hey, girlies!

*lol* about the hair. Actually, I won't have to worry about that. We've decided to hang in & catch up, which I'm glad about b/c I don't really want to be around too much gastronomic temptation!! I blew it somewhat last week, so I really want to stay on track and not drink up my points, either. How boring it is to be on a diet, huh? *lol* But I'm really determined to see the last of the weight come off!!! So, I've got a points-friendly veggie lasagna in the oven and some whole wheat dinner rolls to take over to her new condo. Will throw on a baseball hat and I'm good to go. :) I did take care of my errands but haven't managed to get in any schoolwork. Oh well. Will deal with it tomorrow. I brought home a lot but have decided that I'm just going to do what's absolutely necessary on the weekends. I refuse to spend my entire Sunday working!!

Wendy :: hope you enjoyed that nap!...I think a BBQ would do me in. Great job with your speedy workout. It's so exciting to see your training pay off with faster times!

Angie :: *lol* No hot date! I wish!...Good job with SB!

Diana :: hey! We must've posted at the same time. Congrats to Jerod!!! Great news. Enjoy your workout later.

Whoops, there goes the timer! Talk to you in the AM. Have a great night!
