Cabs and Abs SATURDAY is SWEET! :)

So after we ran our errands yesterday and finally got DS down for the night, DH and I rocked out for the rest of the night with Guitar Hero. We realized we could slow the song speed down in Practice mode and that helped me get a grasp on the coordination. I ended being able to play everything that I tried fairly well...even at regular speed. We started an actual game so now we will have our work cut out for us. ;)

I was going to rest today but I feel good. I think my shoulder is better as well. I am not sure what work out I'll do. I just have to avoid leg work. I'll decide at nap time I suppose. I know I'll be resting on Monday so it's all good. :)

Off to get that 2nd cup of java...BBL!:)

I did Gin's interval w/o yesterday after all. The knee had a couple of twinges but nothing serious. It hasn't bothered me at all today so I think there is just maybe some muscle building going on. I remember when I first got my EXT and I had low back twinges too but it was low back muscle. I really don't like that feeling in vulnerable areas like that though. I actually have a few ab DOMS today and have no idea why. PUB with abs first is on my schedule for today.

Wendy - Cabbing with GH did NOT work out very well with me. *lol* I tried doing it after about 3 drinks and it was, er, well, less than stellar. http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Music/electric-guitar-054.gif It was a bit annoying that the kid who was playing it could do even the most difficult song without much trouble.

Diana - Sorry that the news about the feet was not what you were hoping for. But, it sounds like not all hope is lost. Hopefully the specialist has some better news for you.
Mudslides eh? I haven't had one of those in a loooonnnnng time. They are so good though. I had one a Red Lobster the last time I was there and they are like sipping on a piece of heaven.:9

I suppose I'd better get some cleanmax going on. I really don't have much for plans today which is exactly how I like it.

Glad to hear the knee isn't giving you much trouble. So are you working out today? Have loads of fun with cleanmax! I got that over with yesterday!:p Ofcourse, I had to go food shopping this morning but it wasn't bad at all. I go to an "old" foodtown so it's never really uber crowded. It's actually quieter on sat mornings then on weekdays!:eek:

I wanted to work out today but I'm not sure I'll have the time. If I do it will be something short and sweet. I'll have to see. I told my DH I wanted to work out today and he said "Why?? You are running 10 miles tmrw!" I explained to him that it's not all about calories burned. Exercise is a mood regulator-something I tend to need AND I enjoy it...MOST of the time so why shouldn't I do it if I want to, right? :+ When I was at the foodstore I picked up a Biggest Loser sculpting vid. It was cheap so I couldn't resist. I am sure it's pretty easy but I could use some easier stuff. Sometimes you just don't wanna work Cathe or P90X hard, ya know!? ;) :)

I also picked up a Fraggle Rock DVD. I used to LOVE that show! I bought it for DS though, I swear!;) :7

Hey Wendy - I just got done with PUB. My arms were feelin' it just picking up my laptop. I definitely followed up with a protein drink. Wowza! I still can't do all of the pikes on the ball. I can't keep my balance that long, even when I do the ab portion first.
I went grocery shopping yesterday. I picked up some necessities for my parents and put them in their frig so they don't come home with a totally empty frig. I'm glad they're on their way home....I missed them.
Men! They just don't understand the hormone regulation exercise gives us. Geez - you'd think they would have learned by now. *lol*
You'll have to let us know about the BL DVD. I was tempted with that as well b/c I really do like Jillian, but I understand she is annoying in her DVD's. I'll be interested to know what you think.
I understand about the not wanted to always work out full force with Cathe and Tony. I TOTALLY get it! That's one of the reasons I did Gin yesterday. She's not a tough, but still was a good calorie burn.
I've never heard of Fraggle Rock. Is it a cartoon?
