CABs and Abs -- Saturday -- anybody home?

Good morning, Diana, Nancy, and anyone stopping by!

I know Angie and Wendy are away, and I don't think Laura usually checks in on weekends, so this may be a lonely thread today. http://www.infohub.com/forums/images/smilies/girl_to_take_umbrage.gif

Diana :: *lol* about total step workouts...don't think I'm quite THERE yet! But I'm workin' on it!...The Lucky jeans (Easy Rider style) is more giving in the hip/thigh but they don't gap at the waist, which has always, always, ALWAYS been my problem with jeans. They're $100/pair, but I don't mind spending it b/c I think it's the best-fitting pair of jeans I've ever owned. The Ann Taylor Loft jeans I like are the Julie cut, which is their "curvy" cut. I think were about $60.

Today's workout will be a longer-ish run (probably this afternoon). I have to run my mom over to the DMV first thing and then we are going out to breakfast. Oh, how I heart http://www.infohub.com/forums/images/smilies/ba.gif diner food, BUT I don't want to blow my diet!!! May the force be with me. Off to go analyze the points situation...

BBL to see if anybody's around!

Good Morning,

I've just been reading the news online and drinking coffee so far this morning. I haven't decided what workout to do today. I'm torn between doing leg wts and a cardio, total body weights and a cardio or just GS BSB and cardio. I'll choose when I get downstairs.

Cathy-If I could find jeans that actually fit, I would pay $100 no problem. I'll give the lucky's and Ann Taylor a try. I am determined to find some that really fit. Good luck and choose wisely at the diner this morning.

Good Morning to everyone elso too! I'll bbl to see what everyone else is up to today. That is if anyone else is around!

:)

So, what workout did ya do today, Di? I feel the same about jeans. BTW, I think Ann Taylor does carry jeans, too, but I got this pair at Loft.

I indulged at the diner but was so full from it, I skipped lunch. I ate: 2 slices wheat toast with orange marmalade (they came heavily buttered, unfortunately), 2 scrambled eggs, 2 sausage links, and I'd say about 1.5 cups of home fried potatoes -- my fave. I estimated it to be about a 22.5 point (!) breakfast. Does that sound about right?

I figured - sausage 4, marmalade 1, butter 3, wheat bread 2.5, eggs 4, potatoes 8.

I just came in from a 4.08 mile run. I wanted to shoot for more, but it didn't happen. Somehow I had legs of lead today!

Hope you're having a great day!!

My family calls me Di, auntie di for all my nieces and nephews, but I've never seen it here. Sounds like home to me.:)

I ended up doing MM skipping over chest & triceps. I tried to preview a w/o from a friend but it didn't play very well on my player. It looks really fun though and so I'm going to try cleaning it and giving it another try. I think my DVD player is finicky because I can play in on my computer fine.

I think the points sound about right. It happens sometimes and that's why we have flex points. I can't say much since I ate brownies and fried potatoes today-and now I have a stomach ache.

I did a little cleaning but not nearly enough! Zach and I also started in the basement. I need to get showered and ready for Bree's sweet 16 party and Jerod's football game. This is going to be a tough game for us so I hope the kids are ready to bring it tonight. I'll post after the game and let you know.

What kind of monitor do you use that gives you the mileage? Do you have a garmin? I looked into getting one last year when I was running with a club.

Have a great evening.

Diana
