Hello Ladies.

Hope everyone is doin' well on this friday! I know I am!:7

Going to be headin' to the gym in a bit for some CC fun and then it's home to pack up DS for his weekend visit to my inlaws house! DH is leaving straight from work for his weekend away so mamma will be ALONE! YIPPEE!!!!:7

Just wanted to get us started. I'll be back in a bit for personals.:)

Let me get caught up with personals first:

Laura ~ yeah, you saw the Germany/Turkey game (Germany was in white.) The TV snafus just added to the tension...sorry this is not going to be a good weekend for you.

Angie ~ hope you get a lot of traffic today...*lol* about the chicken...I seriously, seriously need to get myself in check. I have been the WORST! I'll last one or two days with restricted eating, and then I go off the deep again. After Sunday, the CABs will get the kibosh. Hey, can you do CCs outside?

Hi Di & Wendy. :)

I put in 3 miles today. A muggy but good run, felt strong. Followed that with a back and bi mish-mosh of SS/PP. (Had to do it today b/c yesterday I accidentally dozed off and napped through my designated workout time. http://www.pic4ever.com/images/oath.png Oops! Woke up just in time for the game and did core work only after.)

I checked two bookstores yesterday for NROL/NROL4W - no dice. So after viewing a sample chapter digitally, I wound up downloading NROL since I'd read somewhere that NROL seems more conducive to mixing & matching 3-4 week programs. I'm never sure what the difference is between programs supposedly tailored to men or women, anyway. Have started doing some reading and a lot more skimming. I'm finding it's not as easy to read this kind of book on a Kindle.

Hey Cathy. Good job getting your run out of the way super early to beat the muggy heat we are now getting! I don't have a kindle nor do I have any idea what it would be like to use one. What makes it difficult to read NROL as opposed to another book on it?
 
Hmmm...the cabbers are scarce today. Wonder why that is?

Well, I had a fabulous tm run this morning with Coach Sean and now have to pack up the little guy. Heading out to drop him at MIL's in about 45 mins.

I'll pop back in later if I have time before heading out for the evening. Might go see SATC tonight...FINALLY!

Wendy ~ I wondered if it was any better up by you since you are at the shore...Tomorrow is supposed to be [font color=red]hotter[/font]?!! How is that possible??...The reason NROL was hard to read is because of the charts. They were shrunk so tiny, and even adjustment to the maximum font size didn't help. I would've gone blind. Plus, I just think it's the kind of book you need to ge your hands on, so you can quickly move back and forth between pages. I've asked for a refund from Amazon and bought a hard copy of the book at BN today. But otherwise, "regular" books are very easy to read on it...Have fun tonight! Hope you get to see SATC.

Hi cabbers

These last couple of days have just flown by! The garage sale went better today and I got rid of some BIG stuff. We did do much better today overall and hopefully the rain will not ruin it for us tomorrow. It has started raining here with T-storms moving in overnight as well. Good! I hope it breaks the heat and humidity - but I see I am not alone in suffering thru that.
I got home and did L&B and ARX. Tomorrow is KenpoX but again not sure when I will be able to do it....maybe tomorrow evening.
I was hoping they would have pics posted today of the pups but still nothing yet. I'll post a link as soon as they get them up.

Wendy - So how far is it for you to get to the gym? Which CC did you end up doing?
Hope you get to go see your movie tonight.;-)
Ahhhhhhh - alone time!:) Nothing beats it! Just don't sit down and watch a spooky movie. Yes, I've done that before, really not thinking anything of it until it was time to go to sleep.x( :7

Cathy - Kibosh the CABs??:eek: *lol* Actually since the drinks I have give me night sweats, I doubt that I pack in too many calories when I actually drink. I think I sweat them all off at night. Kinda icky huh?
As far as the food. I haven't really restricted anything in at least a month. Luckily while doing the X, it's not much of an issue. I just try to eat more healthy, but I don't say NO to very much at all.;-)
A 3 miler in hot sticky weather. You go! I'm lucky that my basement stays pretty cool in the summer where I work out. Although, I'd probably get a better calorie burn working out outside while my body tried to cool itself.
I've never done CC outside, but lots of people have. I guess you just adjust your intensity with speed. One of these days I just might get that ipod and find out for myself. Have you tried a CC yet?
I've heard the kindle is a net gizmo. Do you use it a lot?
