Afternoon, ladies! I'll do my best with 5 minutes, gotta get to court!

Klaudia, I know are excited for those girls to be done with all this dance stuff. The running is really hard on us as moms, I know.
Anne, that link looks great, glad you had a good time.
Robin, ^5 on the clean streak!
Patti, ^5 on plyo legs. I think I am going to take one or two of these on vacation with me - easily modified for no equipment and maximum burn!
Kate, I wasn't the weird dominatrix lady was I? I'm doing the half, Nov. 8 I believe is the date - 4.5 months to train;) www.obxmarathon.com
Morris, how is the crazy-busy day going?

Eats are super clean, just had a sandwich and some unsweetened iced tea, now off to court. I hope I don't have to sit there long, TONS.TO.DO!!

Did you see Cathe is going on a national tour?? Cool. I hope she comes near me. :)

Katie: WTG on a clean lunch!

Robin: That's great about your clean streak- hope I can say the same in about a week. ;)

Katie - I hope you are 100% better by the time vacation comes.
Kate - So funny about the cereal. I would have never thought to do that because I also don't like soggy cereal. You can do it, no cake vibes your way!! Isn't it great when DH is also on board?
Morris - Hope today is a better day for you. Are you still working? For some reason I was thinking you had quit. I don't know how reliable my brain is these days though.
Klaudia - Yay for the girls having a good recital. I got tired just reading all you have to do!
Anne - Hope the walk cheered you up a little. Maybe rent a funny movie?
Robin - WTG on three days of clean eats!
Angie - I love BC, but never tried the BC cardio.
Patti - The BM2 BC premix is one of my fave premixes. I like BC in general though so maybe that's why. Oh and count me in on that pact!
Hi Colleen!

Okay, I got my ub weights in last night. I did GS back and shoulders only. All that stress helped me lift heavier than normal! I am going for a run today then doing abs. Not sure which one. I might just do some pilates. Anyway, bfast was clean - yogurt and english muffin with pb. More sugar than need be, but I am tired so I kind of did it purposely for the energy rush since I have to work this am from home. Kids are at summer fun and P is sleeping. Off to do some work!

Lisa

I think the walk helped. And the free pizza I had for lunch. One of our vendors was visiting today and decided to treat the office to lunch. Wasn't that nice?

I often wonder if you guys notice that I never post what I eat. This is an eating checkin, after all. But my diet is so bad I'm too embarrassed to tell you. So, I just whine about my crappy life instead and what I love is no one seems to mind! You guys are the best!

Patti, if Cathe comes somewhere in the Great Lakes maybe we could meet there. Kate and Klaudia are here in MI and if Angie's visiting Chicago at that time...it could be a clean and tidy extravaganza! All are welcome, of course, but it would be closest for the 4 of us. Just a thought...

Busy day here, getting lots done, which is good. Off to organize for my meeting tomorrow.

anne

Anne, We hardly ever post eats!:p No worries! Sorry you're having a hard day... ((((hugs)))) Put our feet up when you get home and enjoy some R&R!

Klaudia, Cant remember the premixes off the top of my head.....

Katie, I think a 1/2 wuld even be out of my league....but I'll ponder it over!

Patti, Cathe, PLease come to Michigan! I would so be open to travelling to Ohio;) or Chicago tho!

Robin, 3 dyas of squeaky eats and I feel like a million bucks! I bet you do too!

Lisa, ^5 w/ the heavy weights....just put them down first!:p:p:p

Had fun w/ company .... need to tend to my charges!

Oh, we are NOT going to MIL's.... she gets her knickers in a twist so easy.... she caled and said "It looks like it might rain and I wanted us to eat outside.... so we'll just move it to tomorrow.":mad::mad::mad: Now I have nothing planned for dinner tongiht....and I've just been waiting for her to shift plans around for dinner all week. !!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad: I do love her to pieces, she's a wonderful woman, etc etc....but why she can't "go w/ the flow" is beyond me....:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I'm in for a midwest Cathe road trip!! Got two bathrooms cleaned and some laundry done! So I ended up doing PUB-down premix and abs during a severe thunderstorm warning-with all three girls and the cat!! It's storming and I have to get us all ready for recital at 6:30. And Nevena hasn't napped cause she woke up when I had take everyone downstairs. Good stuff. At least my eats are good-so far. Let's hope I can resist the intermission goodies!

Katie, I just got the dance schedule for next year and I'm scared! We might have all three girls in dance next year-might as well move into the dance studio! Hope you get home soon!

Lisa, I got tired too! I can't wait for tomorrow! Good job on the workout and the eats-at least your sugar is from a good source;)

Anne, have you seen what I eat? The only thing that saves us is not having the money to go out more often! We're here to support each other-good and bad!

Kate, sorry about the busted plans. Cereal for dinner?:)

Gotta start the torture-buns, costumes, makeup...I could never be a pageant mom!! One week of this is enough for the whole year!

Anne: There are days I don't post my food and sometimes with good reason! I had a cinnamon roll (OK, 2) on Tuesday. I was horrified...and ecstatic. Feel better??

Lisa: Isn't it funny how stress can help you have a better WO? Good for you for putting that bad energy to good use! :)

Kate: My MIL isn't go with the flow either and is usually a wonderful person. But when she gets her mind on a track there is no changing it! I wonder sometimes what my kids' spouses will think of me someday? That Patti, she always wants to eat healthy and heaven forbid you get in the way of her workout! Ha! :)

Klaudia: Laundry Max here today too. You must be exhausted from this week with the girls- at least all of your activity will be in one place next year. With one boy/ one girl I worry that I'll be running everywhere! I have never done PUB down only. Hmm, should do that sometime.

Midwest Meetup: That would be SO FUN! I would do it! Hopefully it will be before my parents head back to AZ and they can help pitch in and care for the kids. We'll have to see how it all shakes out. Or I could beg my MIL (see above). :p

Dinner was random chicken in the crockpot with pinto beans, mexican canned tomatoes and spices. I was starving this afternoon so eating my blueberry goo creation. Yum!

Kate, can you just go out to dinner instead?

Klaudia, thanks, I know you guys love me as I am. ;-) I'm glad this is the last night of recital for you. I know they'll do great! You should just move into the studio next year since you'll practically be paying the mortgage!

Lisa, good idea! I love funny movies. But maybe tomorrow night, So You Think You Can Dance the Results are on tonight! I love that show. Total brain candy.

Katie, I hope court went well. One more day of work, right? Yay! Don't you love vacation?

Robin, good going! I need to eat more fruit. Does the fruit tart I had for dessert last night count as a serving?

Patti, what's on tap tonight? Something yummy for dinner?

Hi to Angie, Colleen, and Morris! I have all my stuff together for my trip tomorrow, now I'm just watching the clock. Tick, tock, tick, tock...

anne

Kate - How frustrating re: mil and change of plans!! I hate things like that also. What's wrong with eating indoors?

Anne - I was eating like a pig all week while bil and family were in town. I decided to just say eats were bad, lol. It was awful. Not only was dinner some cheesy artichoke dip and fatty ribs, but I also went on to feast on some chocolate cream pie. Heehee, this feels like a confessional.

Patti - Blueberry seems to be the fruit of choice on this board!

Okay so I am taking a short work break. I don't know what to do for lunch...hm...better make sure it's clean and tidy though. I just lost the lbs from the family week.

Lisa

Klaudia, They're going to give you a golden star outside the dance studio!:p
You're doing great today! You CAN eat well tonight!!!

Patti, I hope they say the same thing about me!:D:D
Your dinner sounds YUM!

Anne, I'll fall back on tacos for dinner I suppose....
I always feel like I eat TOO MUCH fruit!

Hey Lisa! Clean eats for lucnh vibes comin atcha!
No clue w/ the indoors thing.... their house is huge - it's not like there isnt room. She just got it in her head to eat outside SO THATS THE WAY IT HAS TO BE, silly!:p
That pie sounds so.....so......so...... I need a cold shower!:p

Kate - LOL about the pie. I can say no to any pie except chocolate cream...okay *snapping out of it*. Tacos are pretty quick and simple.

Klaudia - Is your youngest dd interested in dance also? I wonder if my baby will want to do ballet like her sister. We just started cheerleading also so man, it's hectic. I feel you about having to be here, there, and everywhere.

Lisa

Patti, when do your parents head back to AZ? I presume not until the fall some time. We talked about a Midwest get together this summer. We thought Angie could do it, too, but she ended up coming back in April instead of over the summer.

I have to get past my parents anniversary this weekend, but after that I could probably do the planning. Wouldn't that be fun?

anne

Kate, does your MIL realize it's too *hot* to eat outside? I'm sorry, I don't like to sweat while I eat.

Lisa, I've eaten all things you've mentioned lately, except the chocolate cream pie. I had chocolate hazelnut cake, ice cream and a fruit tart so far this week. That's 3 desserts. I *never* eat dessert. I think it's stress...

anne

Lisa, Tacos are my go-to meal when all else fails! :D Easy to keep clean!

Cathe's 1st Egg RT is in Florida in October....so I think it'll be a while befor she gets up our way!

Anne, ROFLMBO!!! We love to eat outside but not in this crazy heat! In fact, the only time I've gone outside today is to get the mail!! :D

Glad I could make you laugh, Kate! But I must admit I stole the line. From Jen Lancaster. She writes memoirs. I don't think she's your style, but who knows? Very sarcastic, which I love.

I'm heading home soon. I don't know when I'll be back. Maybe Sunday, but possibly Monday. I'll be out of town all day tomorrow and Saturday and I won't have good Internet access. I hope everyone has a good weekend! Klaudia, smooch those girls for me!

anne

You gals are a chatty and silly bunch this evening!

Work done - only ONE MORE DAY!

Dinner will be chicken fajitas for me, quesadillas for the boys, black beans on the side. YUM!

I'm gonna do chest and abs after dinner, along with laundry max. I have spent some time thinking about how I want to "rearrange" my pre-vaca rotation since this sinus/cold/snot thing got to me and knocked me out for a couple of days. I won't be able to lift on vacation, so I wanna hit everything hard before I leave.

Be back later this evening!

*Did we ever hear from Colleen today???*

Katie: Have a good evening- fajitas sound delicious. I may add that to my grocery list for the next week.

Anne: They don't leave until September sometime...we have time!

Kate: I noticed the fruit discussion in OD- I love love love fruit and it's hard to turn it down this time of year. I figure as long as I don't bury my head in the entire container of watermelon, I'll be OK.

All of this dessert talk...is making me faint...but I deserve not ONE BITE after my Tuesday. Sheesh.

Thinking legs will be sore tomorrow (can already feel it a bit :D) so maybe cardio and ME upper tomorrow, then LIC and ME lower on Saturday.

THANK YOU

Oh my word, I am so overcome with emotion right now. I got home from work and I saw a plant on the front porch. I figured it was from my sister and I kind of rolled my eyes because I thought it was something she wanted me to take to my parents party this weekend. I brought it in the house and read the card and immediately burst into tears. The good kind! I can't thank you all enough. That is so sweet and so kind and means more to me than I can express. I can't begin to tell you how much you all mean to me and having you to talk to makes all I'm going through that much easier.

Please know how much I appreciate you! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I can't believe how lucky I am to have such caring people in my life. When I get cranky I hope you'll remember that's temporary and I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love you all.

anne
