A few day's ago I got my Kiwi Green ball, DH blew up the ball today. For some reason my Kiwi Green 65 cm looks a lot smaller than the 65 cm gray one that came with Cathe starter set from Target I mean a lot smaller? I am a little surprised how small the Kiwi Green ball is?? The ball doesn't look Kiwi Green to me either, is a bright neon color.:eek:it’s the same color like the green dyna bands? On line the color didn’t looked that bright. It's not even the color that brothers me, it's how small the stability ball is. I mean the ball is tiny! I am only 5.1!

Is your Kiwi stability ball that small too?

Thanks,

I just got a new one for christmas, 55 cm, and it looks small to me also. But I have not yet measured it...

i bought the green one and the blue one too, but i havent blown them up all the way yet.
my girls have been playing w/ them and are thoroughly enjoying them tho!:D

my resolution today will be to get dh to gethis air compressor out and blow them up for me! ha!

If this is the Cathe ball, that ball apears huge compered to the one I got? Mine isn't shiny either? Maybe they get bigger with time:DLOL!

just thought of something: are you using just the hand pump to inflate it? i hate that thing!:D
do you haveaccess to an air compressor?

DH used the hand pump that came with the ball! That ball is all blown up:rolleyes: I don't have a air compresser!

Thanks,
Belinda

Belinda, I am sure you did this. But it comes with a tape measure to use as a guide to blow it up. That's how I knew my ball was fully blown up.

Thank you so much,Catherine! Mmm, DH and I didn't see the Inflate tape! He is blowing the ball up now and the ball is 65 cm! :D OMG! That thing is huge!:D

Thanks again,

I got the exact same ball (kiwi green, 65 cm) and thought the same thing when I blew it up; it looked the same size as my 55 cm ball. I used the hand pump to fill the kiwi green ball. My husband got out his bike pump and told me to try that. I was really surprised at what a difference that made. After using the bike pump, the ball is noticably larger than my 55 cm ball.

(I also bought the green yoga mat and the new resistance bands. I love the way the green ball, green mat, and green resistance band look. It is so cold in Minnesota right now - my workout room is freezing! - but at least it looks like spring!)

Yeah, I have to say, I had the opposite experience..... I had the pink 55cm one, and when I blew it up, it seemed huge compared to my previous 55 -- perhaps because that one had had a slow leak for so long. Unfortunately, as some here know, my 7 year old and his friend got hold of my "burstproof" ball one day and alas, they proved it to be burstable. Santa brought me an everlast. We'll see how long I can keep it before someone pops this one!!

With burst-resistant balls, you're supposed to inflate them partiallly, then let them sit 24-48 hours (I forget which) to allow the plastic to adapt, then inflate them the rest of the way. This is supposed to extend the life of the ball (and they may not be able to be fully inflated first time through, until the material has some give in it).
