Morning!

Todays workout is some core work then a cardio coach on the treadmill. I was going to do some 4DS weight work but my arms are sore from weed eating in the yard yesterday. Man, I was doing some serious sweating.

Hi Guys,

I did disk 22 for the first time today. some of the moves were really fast for me and I tweaked a neck muscle...:( i need to remember that I can just pause and finish the reps in my own time...

I had my first big splurge in about 3 months! We went to WholeFoods and I got the raspberry chocolate cake! It was sooo good! I loved it!

Back to regular plan today.

Workout done, CC V 4 then about 20mins of my own mix of core work. I burned a total of 475cals in 63mins, Not to shabby....


Cendrine- sorry to hear about the tweaked neck muscle,i hope its better soon! Nice choice for a splurge...i love any kind of cake,lol!

I had to take my DS to his 4yr old check up this morning. I was so proud of him...he had 3 shots and didn't even shed one tear, my big boy:).

Today is going to be 4DS shoulders,chest and triceps then i will do a cardio on the treadmill...not sure what yet. Maybe a CC or a HIIT.

Hey to everybody...i will try and check in after my workout but its storming here today so i may have to shut down my computer! :)

How is everyone? I am at work with the auditors today and tomorrow so things have been hectic, but I was able to workout Saturday & Sunday. The eating has been good for the last 3 days.

Sorry about your neck Cendrine. Hopefully it feels better today. The cake sounds delicious!

Amelia that was a great calorie burn yesterday and glad the dr. appt went well. And, I meant to say I like your new avatar! Great job on the 4 pound weight loss.

Hi guys,

I did C+W cardio premix with double risers and abs. I just really enjoy that workout! I was scheduled to do a CCV but hubby had to leave early and I can't do CCV when I have to watch the kids. So I did C+w instead, I wasn't complaining.... We had been on our feet all day yesterday, so I figured the little bit lighter workout was ok.

I'm glad your son did so well at the doctors, he sounds like mine, he doesn't cry eigher... Never ceases to amaze the doctor. I guess it's a rarity...:)

Okay what's the deal with eating and working out?? Everything I have read with BFFM says fasted cardio is better, what about STS? Everything I have read on the internet is contrary to what BFFM says. Help!! Thoughts?
 
I don't have a scientific answer, I just do what works for me. I can't get up, eat, wait for the food to settle and then work out. So I get up, work out, then eat. I have been building muscle regardless of this, even though they say that with no fuel the body will attack muscle tissue for performing in the workout... I'd say, do what works for you.

Yesterday I did 4DS Chest,Shoulders and triceps then a 35min HIIT.
Today is a rest day...my body needs one. For some reason my energy is lacking. That workout yesterday really drained me? Im going to focus on drinking my water today and eating clean and then get back into it tomorrow!

I agree with Cendrine...kinda have to see what works for you!

Soon2befit, since I workout in the evenings, I never do fasted cardio, but I have still seen good results when I have been eating right.

Today will be Kick, Punch, & Crunch – no abs and trying to get to bed early:p

Hi everyone-

Is anyone else glad it is Friday:) Hope everybody is doing ok?

I am thinking of doing High Step Challenge tonight – I need something a little different. The weight has been going good this week. I am finally back down to where I was at the end of last year. Now I just have to keep that up and try to move these next pounds. I am going on vacation mid-next week, so we will see how that goes:)

Clintonya, congrats on the weight loss! That is such an awesome achievement! I'll be thinking of you during your vacation, that is a tough order any time to maintain or continue loosing....
I used to order double veggies with whatever meat I ordered instead of starch on our vacations and was able to not gain weight that way.... of course I also took full advantage of the hotel gym...:)

I did disk 24 and was able to do 12 pullups! That is a first for me! Wohooo!

Todays workout was 4DS Back and Bic's then i did LIS,the older one with risers. Its simple and really gets the HR up when modified. Cathe is so upbeat in it too...well,she's always upbeat.:)

my tummy is growling,better go and feed it,lol

Cendrine, that's great about the pullups! Pullups are hard! I am still doing them with my feet on the floor.

Hi everybody, boy, I have missed you guys!

Let's see...I have quit my part-time-from-home job and I've been working like crazy finishing my last project during my son's naps and after he goes to sleep at night, and my workouts have been sporadic. I'm done now, but things are going to stay just as crazy.

My husband is in the Air Force and we are moving from FL to VA on 7/1, so next week we are going to VA to look for a house to rent, then the week after going to LA and TX to visit family, then back home for my hubby's graduation and packing, and then moving! All while trying to sell our house. : ) And keep an almost-2-year-old happy.

So I might not be checking in that much over the next month or so, but hopefully after that I can get back into working out more consistently and getting my eating back on track. It hasn't been terrible, but I am finding myself slipping more and more the more stressed out I get. he he

Just finished Firm Power Sculpt (pretty easy 20 min. workout) and then Chalean Extreme Fat Burn Challenge. Felt great! I also just got in the Valor BD-8 squat stands, and I am sooo excited to start STS and be able to do the squat rack routines in M3. I am definitely going to start as soon as we get all moved in and settled. I am glad I have those Stephanie Huckabee workouts right now though...I am going to use them a lot over the next 2 weeks.

I haven't been able to read all the posts but I hope you guys are doing great!
 
Good evening!

Been lurking but not posting, trying to cut my computer time down.

Foodwise....well....doing okay. Next week I'm going to buckle down and start the calorie count, etc.

I had an upper GI done and I have moderate gastritis, err. My esphasghas (SP, I know!) was larger than normal, but no hiatal hernia, yet. I read up on all the stuff and the treatments are the same. Good with the diet, no eating three hours before lying down in bed, etc. So that is part of my challenge in the next month or so...get the eating down so the reflux and the heartburn go away so my intestines can heal.

Workout yesterday consisted of yard work. Today I popped in 30 day shred and did level two along with a DVD called Hip Hop Abs...Booty Ballet. It was rather fun even though I'm a good spaz when it comes to hip hop dancing.

workaholic - don't envy the move. Yuck. It is such a lot of work, especially with a two year old. Hang in there.

Workoutaholic, you sound like you have been crazy busy. Will you be moving to the Norfolk/Va. Beach area? I am in the Richmond area, but visit the beach area pretty often.

Rhea that is good they didn’t find a hiatal hernia, but sorry you are still suffering. Sometimes, it is hard to not eat 3 hours before bed, depending on how the day goes.

My eating has been going pretty well. Interestingly enough, yesterday I probably ate too little, which is something that rarely happens with me :p

Been real good with the eating today, even got in that protein drink. Probably haven't eaten enough come to think of eat, so wonder the tummy is gurgling.

Did Burn #1 today and added the YBB hip hop abs cardio for the fun factor (even though Chalene is fun too)
