Cendrine - I'm only on about page 70 and am learning about the 12 of the hormones and what they do and how we can screw them up. Great info so far though.

Let's see, pretty good on the eating today, no blood sugar crashes. Now I'm off to workout.

Gofit? Never heard of it.
 
I have not tried the high protein odwalla bars. I don't think the other ones have much protein in them, but really not sure. I like the bars because they don't have choclate and to me they seem less processed than other bars do to me, they are very portable and my kods eat them.

What is the name of Tom's new book? I didn't know he has a new book out? I need to see if the liabrary has his weightlifting for women book....

Todays workout is a circuit. I will do C&W but running instead of step....get my drift;) im still reading BFFM,little at a time. Everytime i read it i get so motivated:) Great Book!

Hi everyone!

How is everyone’s Friday going?

I am glad it is Friday, but next week we have our annual audit so I have too much work to do these next couple of days, but at least it is the weekend!

Today will be STS Legs and trying to continue on clean eating. The week has gotten better each day so I will try to continue that.

I just finished my workout. I decided to do a steady run since my legs are still sore,i will do that circuit tomorrow. I did 45mins on the treadmill:)

Hi Everybody,

DS had no school today, so after doing sts disk 21, dh and I packed up the kids and went spent the day at Disneyland. They had a good time and it was not as crowded as it might have been.

I packed clean eats for me and did well, but the strawberry icecream the kids had, and were not able to finish was a huge temptation, but I stuck with the plan and didn't have any! Whew! I haven't had cravings like this in about 3 months, so it took me a little off guard, but I think it's because the last couple of weeks I had a super busy schedule and had bars every day which had some suger, even if not bad, but it was more than when I am eating fully clean and I think that's where the cravings came from.... Learned my lesson!

I might check out that book Rhea, don't know when I'll have time to read it, but I really do need to read it! LOL!
 
Morning

Today is LIC with risers. My weigh in was today, Im down almost 4lbs since last monday. Im sure its about 100% water weight but im just thrilled to not be so bloated in the middle. Now its time to work on the real lbs. ive been logging my food and drinking my water perfectly. Im so proud of myself.

I don't expect 4lbs next week but a pound would be nice;)

Cendrine-Great job on resisting the icecream! Your an inspiration! WTG on your workout too.

Amelia, congrats on the weight loss! Fantastic! It does pay off to measure the food!

I'm weighing in in about 2 weeks. This is my first month of trying to maintain, doing 2 days of low and 2 days of high calories alternating. I'm a little scared.... But I won't know unless I try it this way. I'm still measuring my foods and counting the calories and am eating very clean, well, except for those protein bars but I'm down to one a week now.

I'm going to do LIC cardio premix today too!

Cendrine-your right, you won't know until you try those alternating calories. Thats the one thing i had to tell myself,i won't know if my current calorie count works until i give it a shot. Im scared about eating so much but it seems to be working...guess next saturdays WI will tell the truth. If I don't lose, should i increase or decrease my calories? How was LIC? I just finshed and im pooped . Love the music on there!

Tomorrow is a rest day,i need one to! Today is my cheat meal day....not sure what im having but i will be VERY careful...i don't want to sabatoge myself. Actually,im kinda scared to eat one...noticed i said "kinda" ;):p:)

Hey Amelia,

If my weigh in shows that I gained weight (and I am talking about fat weight, not muscle weight) then I guess I'll be going back to fat loss phase and figure out what to do from there.
For you, if eating at the higher calories is not paying off (for how long are you doing this to see if it works?) I might experiment with 50-100 cals less, but before that I would really examine if my calories could have been any cleaner for the duration of the experiment. If I can answer yes, then I would commit to a month of squeaky clean eating at the same calories before making any other adjustments and do no cheats for the month. But if I was already squeaky clean then I would probably lower my meals by 50-100 cals each. I know Tom says to work out more first, but we are both working out pretty hard already, so I would maybe experiment with low carb approach for the second half of the day or something. Does that help? I hope you won't need to make adjustments, because it's nice to just do what we have been doing and see results...;)

LIC was great, I actually made several moves high impact because it didn't feel hard enough... I'm glad my energy was up again!

Thanks Cendrine, that helps. Cross your fingers for me;):) Im sure i could clean up my diet a bit more but lets hope that what im doing now is enough. I ate a cheat meal yesterday and i hope im able to do that every saturday too and still see results. But to be honest, im tired of carrying all this extra weight around! So, if going 100% clean and dropping my cheat meal every week is what i have to do...then so be it. I will keep you updated and thanks agian for your suggestions.:)

Today is my rest day,also my lower calorie day.
