Hello educated crowd!
I love doing all of Cathe's workouts and have been doing them exclusively. I sometimes do Mindy Myrlea and Gin Miller DVDs too. My problem is that I build muscle very easily from the waist down and get bulky in the legs and butt from doing the lower body weight work. I tried to cut down on the weights I use (using lighter weights), substituting more cardio instead, and eliminating heavy weighted workouts and substituting circuits and cardio, but I still have problems with bulky leg muscles. This is frustrating because the waist of my bluejeans fits loose while the leg area fits skin tight.x(
I am looking into pilate videos to complement my Cathe routine. Can anyone here give me some suggestions on solving this problem? What is better for lengthening the muscles so that they don't bulk up-pilates or yoga? I want to look slender and sleek-like a dancer, not bulked up like He-man! Please share with me some good pilates and yoga videos that you have tried and are very happy with.
