Hello Ladies! Hope you all had a nice weekend. I did, but I kind of over did it on the sweets yesterday! I also didn't drink enough water and that always makes me feel crappy. So today is a new day and I already have 4 glasses of water down! I can always tell if I haven't drank enough water. I just feel off...

Today is MIC. I'll also throw in some ab work and Pilates leg work.

Have a good Monday! Stay strong- Susan

Morning BB's,

Had a great weekend also. Didn't enjoy driving through down pouring rain x( , but made it through ok. Was tired yesterday so I didn't do my planned long run. So that is on the agenda for today. I ran when I was up north. They had beautiful weather up there all weekend. As we where driving up north on Friday the temps where up in the 80's. It was nice just to watch the kids run around the yard, and throwing the softball around. :)

It will be nice to come home from work tonight and not have to do any homework. Got to love spring break.

Have a great day!

Hi, Susan and Laurie! (and other BBs that follow)

Susan - I ate too many sweets yesterday, too. On top of all the Easter candy and lambie cake DH's aunt sent along "for the kids", we went out for brunch and the dessert spread was awesome. Today is definitely back to clean eating and an extra long workout since I'm off today with the kids.

Laurie - Saturday was beautiful, wasn't it? I bought a badminton set for the kids and they had fun volleying back and forth. It's cooler today but at least it's sunny.

On Saturday I did some abs, CP1 and Kelli Roberts 10 min. Kickbox Solutions (I think it's called). I did the 10 min. leg and buns one and man oh man did I feel it yesterday esp. in my inner thighs. On Sunday I did PUB pyramid up. Wanted to do some cardio, too, but it just didn't happen.

Not sure what's on the agenda for today. I *should* do MIC like Susan and burn some serious calories but not sure I can psyche myself up for that. DS wants to hit raquetballs at the Y later so I'll have to save some energy for that. Maybe I'll do some stuff here and do some stuff at the Y. Very indecisive today, aren't I?

Have a great day.

Sue

Good morning,

I had a pretty rough run on Saturday that kind of set the stage for the rest of the day. Right after I got home from my run, feeling tired and wheezy, my boyfriend and I decided to do some yard work. Then we had to go to my mom's to help her put up some new fencing. By the time we had spent a couple of hours on the fence, I had a migraine going. It was my own fault; everything I did pretty much guaranteed me a migraine: too much exercise, not enough hydration, rest or food, too much sun. I wish my body didn't always insist on trying to prevent me from doing things I want to do.

Yesterday we went to my mom's for Easter dinner and got stuck in the major downpour, but it turned out to be nice sit-in-the-basement-watching-TV weather :) And boy, do I love those Starburst jellybeans!

Take care,

Ellen

Ellen - Saturday was your 10 miler, right? Congrats on finishing. I know what you mean about too much outdoor activity and feeling crappy. A few hours outside planting flowers or raking always takes it toll and what's discouraging is that I think I should be able to do this kind of stuff no sweat because I workout, right? WRONG! I like Starburst jellybeans, too, but my kids don't like any of jellybean so I didn't buy them this year cuz I knew I'd end of eating all of them.

I did a 10K on a treadmill at the Y. Had fun varying my speed and incline and alternated between walking and jogging. I better stretch later or will be very sore tomorrow - can already feel it in my hip flexors. Right now I have to help DS setup the badminton set again.
