Buff Badgers Week of Sept 9th

Hello,

I had a very busy weekend. No down time except when I was eating and sleeping.

I did BM2 Cardio Blast on Saturday. I was congested and it kicked my butt. This morning I started week two of STS Mesocycle 2. Had a pretty good workout.

Had a good weekend too. I decided to go for the Rock Bottoms rotation. Check my pulse as this is going to be challenging. Today was Cardio core circuit and 300 walking lunges. I almost needed help coming up the stairs.

One of my coworkers who is a runner asked to borrow a workout so she could check out Cathe. She let me borrow P90 a few months ago to check it out and I told her plyo legs was not as hard as a Cathe. workout. She tried Crossfire....loved it...admits its harder than P90 and thought it was a tough and good workout. She is thinking about ordering a few Cathe workouts. :). She loved the discs and bands and the variety thay kept her from getting bored.
 
This morning was Lower Body Blast. Tough workout after doing all those walking lunges yesterday. I sure hope I can get through this rotation and keep my dignity at the same time:eek:. There are a few of the workouts that I don't own and I have to figure out a good substitution for them. I am sure I can use PLB or GS Legs in place of Leaner Legs. Then again, I have to check to see if Leaner Legs the workout from Cross Xpress. I am not sure..That's bad....that I don't know that. It's just a serious that I don't use.

Brenda--Meso 2 will remain my favorite. Love that one. The perfect go to when you want to fire up and pop the muscles.

This morning I went with Intensity. I can tell I haven't been sleeping well. The cardio workouts the last couple of time have been kicking my butt.

Hearty - WTG on attacking that Rock Bottoms rotation. Cardio Core Circuit... did you survive the dread factor. :) I thouht leaner legs was part of Cross Xpress, not positive though.

Hi ladies. Sorry I've been missing. DS managed to catch a really bad cold in his first two days of school, and Bryan and I both got it. So, I had no workouts Friday or over the weekend. Yesterday I managed to do D2S Phase Two Strength One with slightly lower weights than normal. Today was just a leisurely walk with the dog. Cardio is out until my cough goes away.

I'm enjoying the build up for Cathe's new workouts. I had been not thinking about them much because I knew it would be a long time before they came, but now I'm getting really excited, especially for the step ones, FlexTrain and X10.

Other than that, DS is doing great! His teachers say he listens well and all that, so I'm happy.

Brenda- Awe, sorry to hear you aren't sleeping well. Nothing ruins a workout like that :(

Heartymax- Oh my goodness! 300 walking lunges? How long did that take? I had a Facebook friend try Cathe because of all my raving about her. The first workout she tried was KPC, and she seemed really upset that she couldn't finish it. I tried to tell her that Cathe is tough, and she shouldn't feel bad, but I don't know if she ever tried again.

Hey, ladies. I've got a pretty bad end-of-cold cough going on, so even though I was planning on doing D2S today, I really don't feel like taking breaks to have coughing fits the whole time. I'll try tomorrow and might do an easy Leslie or Jessica Smith walking workout today. Have a great day, all.

This morning was Meso2 Legs and I did the extended stretch to get a better stretch in my legs.

Sam -Sorry to hear you all got a bad cold. Hopefully you're on the road to recovery. Glad DS is doing well in school.

I did Kick Max today. Managed to get through the leg condition drills. Put chili in crock pot so we were ready to eat when I came home today.
 
It was a long day yesterday. DS had a football game and we didn't get back home til about 9:15. I was so tired. I got in 40/20 and the core from Cross fire.

This morning I did Hardstrikes and 4DS Kickbox portion only and I did a little of my own ab work.

Hearty - I know what you mean by long days. All week has been like that for me. I'm hoping things should calm down somewhat. Runner it tight from 3am to 9pm is a long day for me.

Today was a kick butt workout for sure. I did Athletic Step followed by the BBW which you know also includes the Leg Conditioning Drills from Lower Body Blast---OMG...I wonder if I will be able to walk tomorrow....I am supposed to go on a run with DH in the morning.

Any fun plans for the weekend Brenda? The local fair is in town. My oldest has to volunteer there this weekend as a part of his class it's the perfect time to take the youngest also. DH will do that. I will stay away so I can resist on the goodies they sell at the fair. :eek:

This has been a very stressful week.

This morning was Meso 2 Back and bi's. I'm proud to say that I used 20's on all the sets for the alternate curls and concentration curls (except on the TF set).

Hearty - My butt just hurts thinking about your workout. ;) My only fun this weekend is Saturday night we are going to a Street Dance in a small down about 5 min away from us with DH's sis & BIL.
