Buff Badgers Week of Sept. 3

Good morning and happy Friday!

This morning was the "down" premix of PLB. I had never done PLB before. I actually really liked it. No low ends! The floorwork was very challenging for me though. I could tell I haven't been doing a lot of lower body work lately. I also skipped the calves. My calves are already too "shapely" for some boots and even some jeans :rolleyes:

Heartymax- Sorry to hear about your DS getting a bit overly enthusiastic. I suppose those lessons have to be learned somehow. I'm sure I'll love TTM. I have KPC on the schedule for tomorrow, but I'm tempted to swap it out for TTM.

Susan- LOL about Jillian. I never watched the show much, but I hope everything is a bit gentler for teenagers.

Heartymax - Congrats to DS for a good game! A lesson to be learned for sure and better for him to make the mistake NOW when he's younger. Football is such an emotional sport isn't it?

Sam - I skip calve work, too. Of all my body parts that is probably the area I need the least work.

Susan - It'll be interesting to see how Jillian works with teeenagers. I think she knows from her previous show where she makeovers for an entire family that she has to use a different approach with teens.

Laurie - That rotation looks a bit scary. He comments "(this one is HARD!!!!)" after Total Body Transformation Workout 1 and then includes that one and 2 the next day! Yikes!

Brenda - Looks like you've been getting lots of sweaty workouts in. Good job.

Did High Reps Upper Body premix Wednesday night and the first 30 min. of Crossfire last night. Eating is still going well. Pants are looser which is a good thing. Football game tonight. DS wore his game jersey to school but wouldn't say if he was going to ask a girl to wear his other jersey. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled at the game tonight. ;)

This morning I did HiiT Pyramid and one 20min bit of Stretch Max.

I'm very anxious to meet with the lady about painting the wall mural tomorrow. Can't wait to see what ideas she came up with.

Sam - You'll love TTM. The only yoga one that I have of Bob's is the Biggest Loser Yoga and I do like it. I don't seem to get as bored with that one. I'm there with you on the calves. If I do work my calves, I don't use weights in my hands. I figure with everything else that we do in our workouts are calves are getting enough of a workout without adding calf raises (IMO).

Heartymax - Hope you enjoyed your rest day. Congrats to DS on the win. I agree with Sue making the mistake now when he's younger. It's all a learning experience.

Susan - If you have a good boss, it's a happy/sad moment when they retire. Glad for them but sad to see them leave. :( Hope you enjoyed your rest day!

Sue - Great job on the eating well. It can definitely be tough. It helps though when you feel your clothes fitting looser. Love that feeling. Enjoy the football game tonight.
