Morning Ladies,

Had a really busy weekend, but managed to get in the following workouts.

Sat: 10lb SD Xtreme Cardio Kickboxing and Bonus Abs
Sun: 10lb SD Xtreme Total Body
Mon: 10lb SD Xtreme Lower Body and Recovery Lower Body

I was pretty much making pies all weekend, since the oldest wanted both apple and pumpkin. So I of course made two of each flavor, because DH and youngest would have been very upset if those pies went out the door without getting to taste them. :D

Have a great day!

Hi there! The weekend went by way too fast. Too much to do and didn't get enough done, but I did workout!;)

Sat: Run 5.5 miles
Sun: Cardio Kickbox Extreme
Monday: Cathe's Bootcamp

Laurie, I am so glad I tried Chris Freytags Kickbox workout! I really liked it!:D

I was baking too this weekend but my pumpkin bread and cookies instead of pies...

Have a good Monday. Hope to check back later~ Susan

Good morning!

Saturday: Gym Style Shoulders, Back and Biceps
Sunday: One segment from Exhale Core Fusion Pure Intensity before I realized my shoulders were way too sore for downward dog and high plank, and then I stuck in a segment from Stretch Max

I just finished Hiit Double Wave Pyramid.

I did some baking too! Oatmeal cookies, nothing special :)

Laurie- I still haven't tried a Chris Freytag workout  I'm thinking of doing the circuit one tomorrow.

Susan- Pumpkin bread... yum!

Have a great day!

Hi guys,

Sat. I ran 5.5 miles, Sun. I did trisets upper body and Pyramid lower floorwork only. Today I did my spin bike with Cathe's spinning workout.

Sam, I'll bet your shoulders were sore after the GS.

Susan, nice workouts. Pumpkin bread sounds good.

Laurie, do you make your own crust. I don't blame them for not letting the pies out without getting a piece of there own. What were the pies for?

Off to take the dog for a walk before the rain comes.

Have a great day.

Hi Ladies!!

Hope everyone had a good Monday! First day of my vacation!!! :D

Saturday I did Triple Tabata from TTM and CF. I repeated the step tabata twice from TTM. That was tough but fun. ;)
Sunday was my rest day. We had a funeral in the afternoon to go to and then DH and I had an overnight stay at the Blue Harbor Resort in Sheboygan. We sat in the hot tub for a while, then went down the waterslides three times in a row, and then went through the lazy river, and then I was getting cold again so back to the hot tub we went. Then for dinner we went to Rupp's Restaurant in Sheboygan. They have the best shrimp I have ever had. What I like about that place is they have a small selection of items for the "lighter appetite". We came back home early this morning so I could give my dear Bandit is shots. He was not happy with us on Sunday when we left and had to give him his shots early. I think he thought we were taking him back to the vet. He was growling and hissing at us but we got him so I was able to give him his shots. I was mad at him for giving us such a hard time and also felt bad because he was so scared. He was fine this morning when I gave him his shots.

Today I did Meso 3 Disc 28 Chest and Back. I felt like super women with the chest portion. Back I felt strong on the one arm rows. Barbell rows and deadlifts were a little tender on the low back so I made sure I was careful. Got a few things put on Craigslist this afternoon and I need to get my vacuuming done this afternoon yet so I can steam clean my carpets tomorrow morning. Tomorrow is our 2nd wedding anniversary and we have a couples massage in the afternoon. Can't wait!!

Laurie - Great job on the workouts. I'm sure DH and youngest were happy you made additional pies for tasting. ;) I'm not much into baking, which is okay with me, then I won't be tempted to eat it. :)

Susan - Don't the weekends always go by so fast. Cookies sound yummy! :D

Sam - WTG on the workouts!! Oatmeal cookies sound yummy too!! :D

Karen - How do you like Cathe's spinning workout? Do you think it is something a person could also use on an elliptical?

Hi Heartymax!
Hi Sue!

Have a great evening!!
Brenda

Am I the only one who didn't do any baking this weekend:D

Laurie----my DH whines everytime I bake something to take out of the house too. That is just too funny!

Susan--pass me a piece of pumpkin bread:D

Sam---you know oatmeal cookies are my favorite:D Why are you all doing this to me:) What do you think of GS?

Brenda---sounds like you and DH have some fun plan for your anniversary week.

Karen---TriSets and PLB sounds like a great combination.

This weekend I put in 45 minutes on the elliptical. I took a rest day yesterday morning because I didn't sleep well Sunday night. It's TTOM so I was dragging after work yesterday. I took a short nap right after work. This morning was STS Chest, Shoulders and Biceps in Meso 1.

Good Morning,

Today I am doing horizontal conditioning. Probably will add my knee rehab with Jill Miller tool

Brenda, I suppose you could use Cathe's spinning workout on your elliptical but it would not even be the same workout. She does lots of hovers back on the seat, above the seat and has you standing then says pedal faster. Probably could be done but i wouldn't buy it for the elliptical. Sounds like you had a fun time in Sheboygan. Bandit was probably mad at you for leaving him, our dogs gets like that. When he knows we are leaving he doesn't even look at us. Silly dogs.

heartymax, good you could get a nap and catch up on some sleep. Not sleeping stinks. I have to get back and do STS again. Just a lot of equipment. I didn't bake either.

Have a good day.

Morning Ladies,

This morning was 10lb SD Xtreme Lower Body and Recovery Total Body.

Susan, I'm glad that you enjoyed that workout. I love it becaue she keeps moving through the whole workout. I love pumpkin bread. And of course now I want some. :D

Sam, You did my favorite of the Hiit workouts! Oatmeal cookies are another great one. Love those too. Guess I really love baked goods. Hope you are able to try out the workout. ;)

Karen, Great workouts! Are you having a knee problem? Yes I do make my own pie crust, just turns out so much better. ;) There was nothing special, the oldest came for a visit, and she wanted some pie. :D Apparently her boyfriend is hoarding his apple pie, he is not letting any of his roomates have it. :D

Brenda, Happy Anniversary! Glad to hear that Bandit is over being mad at you. :( I love our dog, but there are some days that you don't know how they are feeling. We went to the Blue Harbor Resort once with DH's family. It was fun. Enjoy your massage. Oh the temptation is there all right. Had some pumpkin pie last night. :)

heartymax, I know it seems like we are giving you baked good torture. I think the rain had a lot to do with the baking mood. Seems like you just need to get the dampness out of the house. :D WTG on the workout, even though the energy level is low.

Have a great day!

Good morning!

I was feeling really energetic this morning for some reason, so I took advantage and did To The Max. Lately I'm finding this hiit/tabata/metabolic stuff weirdly addicting.

Laurie- I think that's my favorite hiit, too. I usually do 30/30 because it's a bit easier, but I think DWP has more fun factor.

Heartymax- I really like Gym Styles. I think I'm going to do them on Thursdays and Saturdays for the next few weeks and see what happens to my upper body.

Karen- I was thinking of doing PLB floorwork tomorrow. I think it's tougher than the traditional weighted work in the beginning.

Brenda- Happy Anniversary to you and your DH! I hope you're having a nice day.

Hi Susan! And hi to Sue if you're out there!

Tomorrow my dad is having spinal fusion surgery. DH took the day off to watch DS so I can be with my mom at the hospital. The whole thing is really hard on my dad because he's still a very active person and has been a serious competitive golfer his entire adult life. He's very scared, and very sad about possibly losing his favorite activity. So, think of us tomorrow, and if you're a praying person, a couple of those would be appreciated, too :)

Have a great day and stay dry!

Sam prayers coming your way. Hope his surgery and recovery go well and he can play golf again. Nice workout this am

Laurie, how is DD liking college?

Good Evening Ladies!!

This morning I did BM2 Cardio Blast. Haven't done that one in a super long time. I had a very productive day today. Steamed cleaned my carpet, washed all the area rugs, swept and mopped the floors and got done just in time to get cleaned up and head out for our relaxing massage. Felt wonderful and very relaxing.

Heartymax - Nope, you're not the only one who didn't bake over the weekend. :)

Karen - I'm sure he was mad at us for leaving but he's never gotten that upset before. He's back to normal now so that's all that matters. :)

Laurie - Thank you! Our massages were wonderful!! I wish I could afford to do them more often.

Sam - Thank you! WTG on the workouts! Sending prayers your way. :) Hope your dad's surgery goes well and that he has a speedy, full recovery so he can continue doing what he loves.

Hi Susan!

Hi Sue - come back and visit us. We miss you!

Have a great night!

Morning Ladies,

This morning was 10lb SD Xtreme Cardio Kickboxing. :D

Sam, Praying that everything goes well for your Dad. I like her Hiit workouts. Chris Freytag said that she is coming out with new workouts, and she said something about Hiit. I think that I will be buying that workout. :D

Karen, DD LOVES college! How is your dd doing?

Brenda, Your day really does sound productive. Glad to hear that the massages where so good. ;)

heartymax, Glad to see that you where able to get your workout in. How is your DS doing with his hand?

Have a great day!

Hi there! Sorry I didn't post yesterday- Ran 4 miles and ab work. Today is my rest day.

Sam, hope the surgery goes well and that Dad is still able to golf when he recovers! :)

Laurie, do you do any of the other "10 lb extreme" workouts I see on youtube? Do you do the total body one?

I gotta go runa couple errands before work! Hope to check back later.

Have a good day~ Susan

Hi all,

Today I ran 5.5 miles.

Susan, nice job on all your runs.

Laurie, DD and DS both are enjoying college. DS is going to the community college here in Rice Lake and DD is back in Watertown at Maranatha.

heartymax, glad you got some exercise squeezed in.

Brenda, I love the music in BM2. Nice job getting all your cleaning done. Good thing you did it all before your massage. How much do massages cost in your area. $55 an hour here.

Sam, hope all is well.

Have a great day.

Just quickly checking in to say my dad's surgery went really well and he's doing fine.

I went for a short run when I got home. I was too drained after being at the hospital all day to pick a video. No idea how far. I was out there for maybe 25 minutes. I wish I liked running....

Have a great evening; I'll write more tomorrow.

Hello! Today was a 4.5 mile run and later I will be doing some pilates for lower body.

Sam, glad to hear all went well for your Dad. Now lets hope for a quick recovery.:) Running, I find, is a very mental activity. If I let negative feelings get to me, then I want to quit. So I have to keep thinking positive and concentrate on what feels good, not the aches and pains I might be experiencing.

Hope you all have a great day! Suppose to thunderstorm here, stay dry!

~ Susan

Morning Ladies,

This morning was 10lb Slimdown Xtreme Total Body and Recovery Yoga.

Susan, I do all of the Xtreme workouts. The set came with three discs. There are six Xtreme workouts: Total Body, Upper, Lower, Core, Yoga and Kickboxing. Five Recovery (Original Slimdown Series all 20 min.) Total Body, Upper, Lower, Core and Yoga. On the third disc there are two 10 min. workouts Bonus Abs and Bonus Buns. IMO all of the Xtreme workouts are great, and I use the Recovery workouts as add-ons to make a 60 min. workout. This is my second time doing a rotation with this system, and I have enjoyed all the workouts. It seems that there are only the Total Body, Core and Kickboxing on youtube. The other 20 min. ones are the recovery. ;)

Karen, Wow two kids in college, that has to be a bit different for all of you. ;) Glad to hear they both are enjoying themselves.

Sam, Happy to hear that your Dad is doing good. WTG on the run!

Have a great day!

Good Morning,

Today I did Lauren Brooks Kettlebell vol. 3 upper focus, and lower focus.

Laurie, where did you buy your slimdown series?

Susan, nice job on your runs. Thunderstorms all night last night and still rainy and windy today.

Sam nice run. Great to clear the mind. Keep running you will start to like it. Glad everything went well with your dad.

Have a great day.

Hi Ladies!

Sorry I didn't post yesterday. We had a busy day yesterday and time got away from me. Yesterday I had PlyoLegs. This one had the dreaded power turns. :p Today I did Afterburn. This morning we were moving a bunch of wet dirt for the Village of Newburg. They have this area at the end of the land by No No's Restaurant in Newburg and they call it Freedom Park. It was setup and dedicated to the Veterans. They had poured a big section of concrete and they needed all the dirt they moved filled back in behind the concrete. We were able to do some with our tractor but we had to do a fair amount of shoveling. It sucks moving wet dirt. :( Both DH and I were tired from doing all that this morning our ambition is somewhat lacking this afternoon.

Sam - glad to hear your dads surgery went well. Wishing him a speedy recovery. WTG on the run. I don't like running either, neither do my knees. ;)

Laurie - How is Chris Freytag as an instructor? I should really check out some of her workouts to see if it's something I might be interested in.

Susan - My sister is a big runner. She's been running since she was in high school. Her and her daughter and son-in-law did a 1/2 marathon the other weekend. I guess they all did well. I wish I did like running more because I think it would be neat to be able to complete a 1/2 or full marathon or do a triathlon. Doubt that will ever happen though considering I'm not a fan of running, biking, and swimming I don't mind but I panic somewhat when I get into the deep water and realize that it's a long way down before my feet touch the bottom. Not a good thing to panic when you're in deep water. ;) I'll have to find something else that will give me that same sense of accomplishment. Not sure what but I'll have to find something.

Karen - Massages where we go in West Bend are $70/hr. With the hour massage you have full access to the gym, hot tub, sauna, and steam room to use before and after the massage. We usually take advantage of the hot tub, steam room, and sauna before we get our massages to help relax us.

Hi Heartymax!
Hi Sue!

Make it a great day!!
Brenda
