Monday Funday!

Saturday I did X10 Hi/Lo, Low Impact, part of Cardio Blast, and Fat Blasting Circuit. Phew.. what a workout that was. This morning I did Travel Fit.

My Sat & Sun was spent at the Sheraton in Brookfield for Fitness Coach Specialist Training. They were long days but it was worth while. Bought myself a new toy while I was there.. a blue monster band. I got to play with Battle ropes.. they are soooo much fun!! I want some of those too.

Today I'm doing my stuff I normally would have done on the weekend. I'm so glad I took vacation days today and tomorrow. That way I have time to get stuff done that I couldn't do over the weekend.

Gosh, can you believe next week is Thanksgiving already. I need to kick it in high gear with x-mas shopping.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Hello, everyone. I hope you had good weekends. Nothing too interesting with us. We had a parent teacher conference on Sunday. DS is doing just fine, though he is lagging a bit in fine motor skills. His teacher doesn't seem concerned though, and says it's very common to see in boys.

Friday I ended up doing the PRS1 Timesaver and a segment of Stretch Max.

Saturday I did a mash-up: NROLW 1A, one segment of Tabatacise before I realized my legs were way too tired for plyo, then the step and disc segments of All Out.

Sunday was my rest day.

Today was NROLW 1B.

Brenda- Sounds like fun! I've seen battle ropes in pictures only. I don't think I've ever actually seen them in use. I bet they're tough.

Have a great evening!

Good Morning!

This morning I did Hardstrikes and part of the warm-up from Cardio Blasts followed by the floor cardio blasts and two of the step blasts that I modified and did them on the floor. Had a great workout. The sweat felt great.

Today I meet with a potential client. The bad thing is.... our basement is not ready. I had two other people that I could have quoted for personal training but I didn't because I'm not ready. I may have lost two potential clients and maybe a 3rd due to the basement not being finished. :( Hopefully others will come along.

Sam - Battle ropes are tough but they are so fun. I could see doing tabata with battle ropes.

Off to jump in the shower. I have a busy day planned today. Then tomorrow is back to reality and back to my normal job. At least I have a short week this week and next due to Thanksgiving.

Make it a great day!

Good Morning!

This morning I did SuperCuts Extreme premix. I liked that premix.

Today was back to work. :( Good thing it's a short week. ;)

Make it a great day!

Brenda---- I almost forgot your were starting to personal train. That is so awesome. Yikes on the basement delaying things for you. You can definitely follow up with those clients to see if they have found someone else when you get it finished.

Sam---I agree with the teacher on the fine motor skills for boys.

I don't get in the desktop computer that much anymore which delays my posting. I could use my smart phone but I really prefer to use my desktop keyboard and go back and read something while I am posting if I forget something that I read.

I did get in a few workouts last week---I think 3. I walked 40 minutes on the elliptical yesterday and today. It's been a long time since I have been on the elliptical.

We are having a few relatives over for Thanksgiving so I definitely need to start my grocery shopping, etc.

Good morning. Sorry I've been MIA the last two days. Tuesday our sewer was being worked on and we couldn't run water. No shower = No workout. Yesterday I could've, but it just got crowded out with other stuff I had to do.

Today I did the step from Step, Jump, and Pump, and NROLW 1A. Reps were lowered from 15 to 12 for most exercises today, and I managed to up my weight in everything. I did switch up the barbell squats for dumbbell squats, though. I just don't feel comfortable putting that much weight on my back without a rack. Still haven't decided for sure about joining a gym.

Heartymax- Thanks for the reassurance :)

Brenda- Things will move along. Imagine how many clients you'll get once you have a place to work! This is so exciting for you :D

Okay, I have to get in the shower so I can pick up DS in time. Have a great day!

Good Morning!

This morning I did All Out Low Impact Hiit. Since I don't have a step right now (poor thing is in the basement covered with dust), I improvised on the step portion. I made it work. :) Then I followed that with Stretch Max. Those longer stretches sure feel good.

Hearty - I haven't been on our elliptical in forever either. I do miss doing the Cardio Coach workouts on there. I can't believe Thanksgiving is next week already. I have it easy, I just have to bring a dessert. Not sure what I'm going to make though.

Sam - I'm with you on putting a heavy barbell on my back without a rack. Did I tell you that I toured the Wisconsin Athletic Club in Menomonee Falls. I think I did. That place is awesome. So much to do and choose from.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Happy Friday!!

This morning I did FlexTrain. When doing the bi's where we balance on one leg, I bumped up the weight to 10lbs. I remembered the first time I did this I didn't feel like my bi's got worked out like I like them to. ;) I do like this workout.

Tomorrow we have to bundle up and do fall clean up at No No's Restaurant. I heard a high of 27 and windy. Yuck!

We had snow this morning when I left for work. The further south I got, the lighter it got.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
