Friday I baked a birthday cake for my son during my morning workout time. That means the cake was baked with so much love til it has no calories---RIGHT... DS turned 12 and normally has a baseball game on Friday nights. Well, there we found out there was not going to be a game. He asked if he could invite some of his friends over from the neighborhood since they haven't hung out in a while. We ordered pizza and DH went out to get wings (he didn't want them from the pizza place because he wanted the birthday to be extra special--LOL). The kids watched movies, listened to music, played video games and just had a blast for hours. Both boys had games on Saturday and Sunday so it was nice to have a Friday break.

Saturday finished 45 minutes of elliptical cardio. I finally convinced DH to get up and do a run with me. It has been over 6 months since I ran and it was tough. It was more of a run/walk to help me ease back into things but it was still tough. Running is so different from working out to Cathe. It felt good to be back at it.
 
Saturday I did MMA Boxing with the HBB. Sunday is my normal no workout day and I actually took Monday off too but you'll understand why when I quickly give you the run down of what we did all weekend.

Sat AM got groceries, did yard clean-up at No No' restaurant the rest of the day. Sunday I put my veggie garden in all day. Monday I cleaned my mom's house, washed my car, and then did the trimming in our yard and got done just in time before the storms came through.

This morning I did Athletic Training. I haven't done that in a really long time and I so enjoyed it. I think taking that extra day of not working out was the right thing to do because the workout this morning felt really good.

Hearty - Happy Birthday to DS. Glad the boys had fun and you had a break. I was probably a good idea you did a run/walk to ease back into it.

Good Afternoon!

This morning I did All 5 levels from Tabatacise. Had to take a few extra breaks but I made it through.

Did you hear that Cathe is coming out with new DVD's. I'm excited.
 
Tuesday's workout was Meso 2 back and biceps. I had planned to run Wednesday afternoon but my body wouldn't let me. I have to recover from the run on Monday. This morning was Meso 2 legs. I did a double set instead of tri-sets. I also added on a good stretch which I know my legs need and I don't do it enough.

Yes, I saw the new workouts. I didn't order the last series but I am definitely going to pre-order this one. I am excited:D. It has been a while since I have done Tabatacise--that workout is tough.

I hope Sam is doing well with the pregnancy.
 
Today I did one I haven't done in a super long time.... Muscle Max. After not doing some of these for a while you forget how tough they actually are.

I'm enjoying getting away from STS.

I agree.. I hope things are going well with Sam's pregnancy. It would be nice to hear from her once so we know she's okay.

Today I did ROKO. I would still like to get boxing gloves for doing this workout and hardstrikes. Maybe someday.
