Buff Badgers Week of July 15th

We had a great time at the beach. The weather was beautiful and I really enjoyed the calmness of the beach and just walking along the boardwalk. DH enjoyed some great dinners. We also had a chance to meet with up with one of his old college friends for dinner. The boys ate with us sometimes and there were days DS15 selected a fun place for he and his younger brother to eat so they could catch some shows on the boardwalk in the evenings. Eating was totally bad, but with the delicious ice cream cones and I think I had 2 glasses of wine...I have some work to do over the next couple of weeks.

Sam--question for you---any tips of things I need to know for the road trip. I have been going through old forums about the road trip. I know you went to one recently so I thought I would ask you. Any advice will be appreciated.

Saturday was Pyramid Upper Body the entire workout which I usually just do the down premix so this was a change for me. Sunday was 40 minutes on the elliptical and this morning was Butts and Gutts.

Hi!!

Saturdy was Hardstrikes and 3 tabata's from Tabatacise. I worked in the garden in the morning and the afternoon we had our massages, which was wonderful and then had a very nice night out to dinner.

Sunday was back to working in the garden. This morning I did Burn Sets Chest, Back, and shoulders. Added on 200 jacks, 50 ski hops, 50 hi knee runs, 50 lateral skates.

Hearty - Glad you had a nice time at the beach. As for the Road Trip, I went on the same one Sam did. Make sure you take enought workout clothes along. I took 3 different pairs of workout shows. I you have a mat that is easy to carry along, I would bring that as well for if/when she does stretching and yoga. I wish I would have brought mine. Bring a bottle for water and a sweat towel, you will need it. When do you leave for the RT? I'm so excited for you. I would love to go again and hopefully some day will. I would love to see the rest of the crew.

Enjoy the rest of your day!

Brenda---thanks for the tips!! I leave next Friday...on Amtrak. I didn't think about taking more than one pair workout shoes but it probably would be nice for the feet to have a change and shoes to dry out. I am very excited.

Happy Sunny Tuesday-----at least it is here:D. Just finished Upper Body Tri-Sets. Haven't done that one in a while and it has some cool moves. Cathe can keep those fancy push ups (crossing my foot over)---Seriously---a regular push up is about all I can manage:eek:.

Hello,

This morning I did Hiit Pyramid followed by Cardio Super Sets. I felt tough and felt good at the same time.

Heartymax - I'm so excited for you. I can't wait to hear about your Road Trip when you return. I do regular push up when she does those too. I do like that workout.

Enjoy your evening!

A 2 mile run for me this morning. I need to get up earlier because it is HOT outside.

Brenda---I need to be doing some Hiit workouts to get ready for the roadtrip.

Hello,

This morning was Burn Sets Bi's and Tri's and then I did Tabatacise warm-up and #4 tabata with cool down & stretch. Had to get a little cardio factor in there.

Hearty - If you have anything you want Cathe to sign, like one of your favorite DVD's bring it along for her to sign. I brought the sleeve from her Low Impact Series and had her sign it. I don't recall what workout DVD Sam had her sign. I wonder if she's going to do the live Streamline video on this roadtrip. Gosh, I'm so excited for you. :D

Have a great night!

Brenda--OMG--we are on the same page today. It was double workout Thursday at my house. I did Tabatacise and was wiped out at the end but I went ahead and then Burn Sets Bi's and Tri's. It was so bad since that was a short workout. I am really nervous about whether I can manage to get through the workouts on the roadtrip. You know I love strength training more than cardio and those are the workouts for the trip. I have decided that I will just modify when needed just like I do at home and take all the breaks that I need. I finally found the packing list on the website so I am going to start organizing my stuff this weekend. This is practically the highlight of my summer.....Shhhhh--don't tell my family.

Hi!

This morning I did Imax 2 and extended the stretch a little.

Hearty - On the Road Trip, everyone did what they could and modified where and when they needed to. The one thing I noticed with myself was I was on such an adrenaline high that I kept going when I probably should have slowed down. I wore my heart rate monitor during the workouts and I never burned so many calories in one day. I know when I went to the Chicago RT, that definitely was the highlight of my summer, actually probably the highlight of my year. That's how much I enjoyed it. Week away!! :D

Have a great night!

Happy Friday. Today's workout was Cardio Fusion. I was in the mood for something really fun that I hadn't done in a while so it definitely served its purpose. I was short on time but I wanted to get in as much as I could----I did 42 minutes which was right up to the Drill Max part.

Brenda---Did I tell you one of the ladies created a yearbook so we could introduce ourselves to the others before the trip. We submitted a pic and told a few things including how we started doing the Cathe. I did participate in this part and I just got the info to download the other day. The lady did an awesome job with it and it's also nice to see that there are a few people going from my metropolitan area also.

Happy Friday indeed!!!!

It has been a loooonnnngggg week.

This morning I did Cardio Leg Blast. I like that workout.

Hearty - I like Cardio Fusion too. If I want to do that one, I usually save it for the weekend when I have the extra time. That is pretty neat that someone created a yearbook. I know when Sam & I went someone started a thread where you could introduce yourself and they had a bunch of questions. It was pretty neat. Yearbook sounds better. A week from today!! I was very pleased that the first two people I talked to at the Chicago RT were from Milwaukee. Sam was the second person I talked to. :)

Have a wonderful weekend!
