Monday Funday!!

The weekend was busy but good. Saturday morning I did X10 Cardio Blast followed by MMA boxing (excluding the warm-up and core section). Sunday was a rest day. This morning I did X10 Fat Blasting Circuit followed with majority of Athletic Training (I skipped the step portion and some of the leg stuff that I already did in FBC. I like doing that mix.

Well... I have wonderful news.... Fit4You LLC is now official. I have someone working on my logo idea for me so once I get that, hopefully that turned out the way I was hoping. Then I can get my business cards made, brochure, and website. Bad thing is, I'm still waiting for my part of the basement to be completed. We've had one thing after another delaying it. It's been very frustrating.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Good afternoon, ladies. No workout on Saturday. Yesterday I did a Jessica Smith workout again. A fusion resistance band thingy. It was really nice and my legs are actually pretty sore today.

I decided to give Pilates or Pilates-inspired stuff a try again. It's been awhile, and that's the sort of thing I'm in the mood for lately. So... I found this Blogilates website that has a ton of free workouts and saw that they have a beginner's four-week calendar with all the workouts and playlists all set up. So I started it today with her Beginner's Pilates Workout. It's amazing that I can deadlift, squat and press heavy weights, but a beginner Pilates workout completely slays me. I had to take breaks during the leg circles  But that's good! It means I've found a weakness to work on. :) I feel good now, for sure. Like I grew an inch ;)

Brenda- Congratulations! That is wonderful news, indeed. I would be every bit as frustrated as you about the basement, but it'll get there. It seems like stuff like that always takes longer than it should. Make sure you share your logo when you have it. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Have a great day, everyone.

Brenda - that is awesome news. I admire you for doing something you love.

Sam---pilates/yoga is not my preference. I hear good things though.

Today was Xtrain Cardio Legs.

Good morning! Today was two very short Pilates-style abs workouts. I think I'm going to be adding a little cardio here and there because, looking at the beginner's calendar, most of the days only involve only about 20 minutes of workouts. That's fine for Pilates, but I like to do at least 30 - 45 minutes a day of something. Tomorrow I'll try adding a PRS premix or a Jessica Smith walk to whatever's on the schedule.

Heartymax- That's usually true for me, too. I'm not sure where the change of heart came from. But... I'll listen to my body. I'm sure eventually I'll be itching to get back to weights.

Hi Brenda!

I finished a sweater that I knit for DS yesterday! I'm pretty proud of it. Now I'm trying to figure out what to make next. I'm thinking something for my DH.

Good Afternoon!

This morning I did Hardstrikes and Kickbox cardio and the first segment of the gloves portion from ROKO. I had fun with that.

Sam - I'm with Hearty on the Pilates and yoga. I know it's something I should do but I get so bored with it. I do try to Stretch Max at least once a week to get a nice long stretch in. Who knows... that may change down the road. It's good that you're listening to your body. I will definitely share my logo once it's final.

Hearty - I'm excited and scared of my new venture all at the same time. I want to take one of my brochures along to Cathe's Road Trip in April and have her sign it. Some people might thinks that dorky of my but I would think you guys would probably understand. ;)

I don't think the weather can make up its mind. It's been snowing on and off all morning.

Enjoy the rest of your day!

This morning was Burnsets Biceps and Triceps. I had to change the order of the workout so I could rest my shoulder a little more. I ordered HC Bootcamp and it arrived today.

I ordered HC Bootcamp and it came yesterday. I had to take many breaks and modify but I actually like it because of the cardio burn too. I was supposed to do AOLH but I think Bootcamp was a great sub especially since I wanted to work the core. I needed a different HC other than volume 2. I previewed a few on you tube and decided on Bootcamp and I'm glad I did.

Good morning! I did a Jessica Smith interval walk and a 10 minute Pliates workout. I feel nice and energized for the rest of the day. All this Pilates is making my abs SORE. Also, I can't believe how bad I am at it  It will be interesting to see if I improve much over the next few weeks. My parents are taking DS to a movie this afternoon, and I'm looking forward to having the house to myself for a bit :) I plan to crochet and watch Sherlock :p

Brenda- I don't think it's dorky at all! I would definitely do the same thing. Oh, I'm so envious that you're going on the RT... I know you're going to have a great time.

Heartymax- Maybe once I've done Pilates for awhile I'll be able to tackle HC again. I could tell those videos would do great things for me, but they were so challenging that I dreaded them a bit.

Have a great day!

Hello!

This morning I did Afterburn. I have a feeling my legs will be feeling that one tomorrow. That usually seems to be the case when I do that one.

Sam - OMG.... I just noticed your new pic... love it!! The couple times I tried pilates, I thought I was bad at it too. I'm sure you improve as time goes by and your body gets used to it. I have the weekend to myself and I'm looking forward to that. DH is going snowmobiling with some buddies. I love him dearly and always miss him when he's gone, but I could really use some "me" time.

Hearty - I bought HC Bootcamp as well. That is one tough workout. I never did the entire thing. I usually ended it before the last two groupings. Maybe once I get my basement back, I'll try it again once. Great job on making it through the workout even if you took many breaks.

Enjoy the rest of your day!

Sam----I haven't watched Sherlock in years.

Brenda---AfterBurn is one of the toughest Cathe workouts in my opinion. I usually feel it for days.

I have DOMS in many places after HC yesterday but I didn't let it slow me down. I went back and did AOLH because I thought it was the perfect workout because I didn't feel like doing anything high impact.

I'm not sure if I mentioned it but I'm starting to teach my 15 year how to cook. My goal is to have him cook once a week. We just started last week and he made spaghetti. I thought pasta was a great place to start. He also used a box of cake mix to bake a cake for him and his brother. This week he baked chicken, green bean casserole and made rice. It's going well so far and im proud of him.

Good Afternoon!

Today was my usual Thurs of AOLH followed by Stretch Max.

The friend that I had working on my logo send me an example last night. I like the concept of it. I'm not sure I like the font. I'll have to see if I figure out how to post it on here so you guys can see it.

Hearty - Yep, the legs and glutes are feeling it from Afterburn. Good for you for not letting your DOMS slow you down. I think that's awesome that your teaching your 15 year old how to cook.

Hi Sam!!

Make it a Great Day!!
Brenda

Hello! Today I did my POP Pilates workouts: Quiet Cardio, Stretch for Flexibility, and The Bubble Butt Workout :)rolleyes:). The name is ridiculous, but my butt is SORE. The grasshopper move at the end is what got me.

Brenda- The picture is actually a few months old, but it's still my picture on Facebook, and not nearly as old as my other one, so I decided to switch them out. Can't wait to see the logo... or the website when you get it going!

Heartymax- I only recently started watching it on Netflix. LONG episodes, but good stuff, for sure.

Have a great day!

Hi!
If you view my public profile, I created an album and put the logo on there. If you could take a peak at it and let me know your thoughts. I'm not sure I like the font.

Thanks!
Brenda

Happy Friday!

This morning I did Supercuts Extreme. When I do the extreme premix I change out some of the upper body exercises for other areas that I feel aren't worked as much. Instead of doing 2 sets of lat raises, the second time I do bicep curls. When we do the chest with the band, I do a set of seated rows with the band. On the second set of delt raises, I do triceps.

I'm supposed to have lunch with a friend tomorrow but we're expecting snow so I need to call her to see if she still wants to meet. She lives further away from me and we planned on meeting at a half way point.

DH got up north safely. I hope he has a great time snowmobiling.

Enjoy your weekend!

Brenda

Happy Friday! I'm off to get groceries for the week in a minute, but wanted to check in. I did three mini Pilates workouts today, all of them core-focused. My abs are so weak. I'm sure any day now I'll start to feel long and graceful instead of short and clunky :p Despite being so bad at it, it really is agreeing with me right now. I don't dread it and I've been sore (in a good way) every day this week.

Brenda- I like the logo, but I agree about the font. I think something a bit "cleaner" (not sure what other word I'd use) would look a little more professional. For some reason, Supercuts sounds wonderful. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow before my Pilates stuff.

Hi Heartymax!

Have a great weekend everyone. DH has off Monday, and I'm really looking forward to having him home the extra day.
