Buff Badgers week of Apirl 15th

Good morning! Crazy stuff in Boston again this a.m.. Yesterday I was really low energy again. Not sure what's up with that. I think I'm waiting too long to get down there and end up doing it at the wrong time of day. Anyway, I took a trip in the way back machine and did Low Impact Step, the one I did after Basic Step when I first started doing Cathe videos. I got my heartrate up and broke a sweat, so I'm counting it :)

Karen- My knees rarely bother me. No diagnosis or anything. I just seem to tweak one of them a couple times a year. Probably just me not being smart about twisting movements. I do find that squats tend to aggravate them if they're already bothering me, but that lunges and other one-legged movements are ok. Floorwork is usually a good knee-friendly option for lower body work too.

Heartymax- I was thinking of doing the exact same workout this morning! Not sure if I have the energy for it or not.

Brenda- Imax 2 is right up there with my favorite of Cathe's. LOVE the music.

Susan- Way to get in a workout despite oversleeping. Love KPC.

This morning I did Disc 3 Legs and added my own little cardio fun on the end while she was doing the toning. I did 100 jacks, 50 ski hops, 25 plyo jacks, 50 high knee wide runs, and 50 air squats. Then did the extended stretch, which felt good. Need to do more of that.

Karen - Seems like rebounding would be a joint friendly workout. I'm managing know what I'm doing. I just modify when I need to. Knees have been bothering me the last few days. Not sure if this goofy weather helps any.

Susan- I love KPC. I had so much fun with that workout when I finally did it again the other week. Can't wait for Cathe's new one Rockout Knockout.

Heartymax - I'm trying to figure out how to incorporate HoCo into my workout routine. Looks like your mainly doing just the core work.

Sam - Yeh, that is some craziness in Boston today. I hope they get the guy soon. Scarey!! Anytime you're being active counts. ;)

Today I did a Bosu workout on the Double Cardio dvd. My knees feel fine and it was a fun change.

Brenda, nice job on your workout. Does kickboxing hurt your knees. I was reading things that hurt it and that was one of them. I really want to kickbox.
I have been using HoCo then adding upper body work, the other day I added on BM2 upper, sometimes a couple of upper a day and the the other on a lower body day or another upper body premix.

Sam, it is fun getting back to the older Cathe workouts. Nice job getting something in. That is the problem for most, I think.

Susan, you would like rebounding. I can't wait to do KPC again.
