Good Afternoon!!

Weekend was busy but not insanely busy. Had to do some work in the cold Saturday. Boy was I glad when that was over with. I was chilled to the bone and it took me forever to warm up.

Saturday I did Cardio SuperSets and Intensity Hi/Lo Hiit portion. Was a good kick butt cardio workout. Sunday was my rest day. This morning I did Travel Fit. That workout is coming in handy with my limited space and exercise equipment.

Even once the painting in the basement is done there is still enough things that my DH has to do yet to get my area completely ready. I suspect it'll be more towards the end of Dec before I'll get back down there. I miss my heavy lifting.

It snowed pretty good in Germantown this morning. Stopped now so hopefully the roads will be better by the time I leave work.

Hope everyone is staying warm.

Happy Holiday Week!

I had a nice weekend. Saturday night we had a "Grace Group" gathering at our church (our church is named Grace) to plan our small group activities for at least some of the year. It was nice. I'm looking forward to seeing more of the people in our group this year.

Sunday after church we had a couple friends over for brunch and to watch the Packers. Interesting game  I also kept busy all weekend with knit and crochet projects I'm making for Christmas gifts.

Friday I did one of the timesaver premixes that includes material from both PRS 1 and 2. Nice little workout. Saturday I did the first 20 minutes of RK and then NROLW 1B. Sunday was my rest day. I just finished X38 from X10 for today's workout. Whew. I really need to build up my endurance for intense cardio again. I kept the weights very light so I can still lift heavy tomorrow.

Brenda- I had Cardio Supersets in my player this morning and then changed my mind. I haven't done the step portion from that in forever. It snowed quite a bit here, too. I'm sure DS is going to want to play outside this afternoon.

Have a great day!

Good Morning!

This morning I did Hardstrikes (seems to be my Tuesday thing lately) followed with 3 tabata's from Tabatacise (excluding the step portion). I have been dealing with sinus issues (worse than normal) this past week or so, so that makes the workouts a little more challenging plus I don't think I'm giving it my all either.

Sam -I wish I knew how to knit and crochet. That's always been something I wanted to learn. I'm trying to do some homemade gifts this year as well. Nothing like what you're doing though. Great job on the workouts!

Enjoy your day!!

Good morning. Today I did the combos only from Imax 3 and NROLW 1A. Felt great.

Brenda- I've been crocheting since college, but just recently got more serious about knitting. I'm sitting around doing it all evening anyway, may as well make some gifts :) Exercising when you're sinuses are acting up is such a drag. I hope you feel better soon.

I'm having trouble with eating lately. Not so much what I'm eating, but how much. I do really well until after DS goes to bed, and then I find myself grazing through the kitchen. I'm not sure if it's because I don't eat enough the rest of the day and I'm actually hungry, or if I'm just bored or what. Either way, it's really getting in the way of my goals.

Anyway, I'm off to shower, run some errands, and pick up DS from school. Have a great day!

Good Morning!

This morning I did Afterburn. For some reason it kicked my butt more than normal. Sweat was pouring off of me. The sinus issues I've been having probably didn't help any. I made it through.

Sam - Hopefully I'll learn how to knit and/or crochet soon. :) If you don't already, maybe log what you eat for a while so you can really take a good look at it and see if you should be eating more earlier or maybe you need more protein. Might help you figure things out.

Not sure if I'll get on tomorrow or not. If I don't have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Take Care!

Hello! I'm taking a day off today so I can get a butt-kicker of a workout in tomorrow, plus I find that I'm more comfortable with 5 days a week lately than 6.

Anyway, since I'm not sure I (or anyone else) will be able to check in tomorrow, I wanted to pop in to say Happy Thanksgiving!

Brenda- I will probably try to do that starting on Saturday (since I reserve Friday for leftovers...:D). Counting calories is not good for my psyche, but I can handle just writing things down in a notebook.

Have a great day and a great holiday! (You too, Heartymax and Susan. Laurie? And Sue? Are you out there, somewhere? :D)
