Friday was PRS 1 again. I can't get enough of that workout. Saturday was D2S Phase 3 Strength 1, and Sunday was my rest day.
Today was D2S Phase 3 Strength 2. Only two more D2S workouts and I am done! This is the longest rotation I've ever done. I liked the workouts a lot, but I'll be really happy on Friday afternoon when I'm finished with them for awhile.
We had a pretty quiet weekend. A nice relaxing Saturday and one of the most satisfying Packers wins in awhile yesterday
Friday I had MS3, shoulders, bi's, and tri's and had a good workout. Real good strength. Saturday I did Cardio SuperSets and the step portion from Athletic Training followed by the ab section and then stretched. Sun was yard work. This morning I started my last week of STS Mesocycle 3 with Chest and Back and had a great workout. Back did much better this week. Then I'll have to decide what to do next.
We'll be having a drywaller come in to finish things up in the next week or two so I'll have to move all my workout stuff out of the area so they can finish up. I'll have a couple of weeks where I'll have to workout out someplace else and get creative with what I'm doing as my space will be limited as well as my equipment. That's okay. I can handle it. It'll be really nice once it's done.
Sam - what are you going to do next once you're done with this rotation?
Hi there! Yesterday was my rest day so I forgot to post! Saturday was PR Step #2~ my new favorite! Sunday was Lean Legs and Abs. Today was X10, premix 7. That was awesome! I felt so worked out afterwards. Nothing was left untouched!
My weekend was pretty quiet. Just the way I like it. Looking at my calendar, my weekends are pretty uneventful until the Holidays!
You ladies have both done some great workouts latley! You should feel very proud of yourself for what you accomplished!
Hello ladies. This morning I woke up at around 2:30 to use the bathroom and couldn't get back to sleep. I'm not really sure why... usually I don't have that problem. Anyway, as long as I was up (but pretty tired) I did LIS from 4DS at around 6 after reading for awhile and eating some eggs .
Brenda- I think I might do a Cathe rotation that uses the new workouts, or I might just do whatever I feel like for a month. After that I want to do the New Rules of Lifting for Women program at least for awhile (it's a six-month program... not sure I can last that long doing one thing!), but I haven't decided if I'm going to modify it so I can do it at home, or if I'm going to join a gym so I can do it as written.
Hi Susan! X10 Premix 7? Isn't that the long one? You're a rockstar!
This morning was my last day of Plyo Legs from Mesocycle 3. Yeah!! Almost done with STS. Definitely felt strength gains in the upper body.
Sam - 2:30- 2:45 is my normal get up in the morning time. Knowing that I'm going to get kicked out of my area for a couple of weeks, I'll probably do my own thing until I get my space back. Not sure yet when the drywaller is coming to start. DH is going to contact him at the end of the week if he doesn't hear anything.
Today was my last time doing Phase 3 Strength 1. Yes! One more D2S workout to go!
Brenda- Do you go to bed very early? I have a lot of trouble getting to bed before 10:30. I can get by with a low-sleep night now and then, but I get ragged if I don't get enough for too many days in a row. I was awful when DS was a baby...
An old friend of mine called to tell me his wife is pregnant. It was a surprise to both of them because they thought she might not ever be able to conceive because of a medical condition. They weren't trying, and she missed her whole first trimester! So, the happy news made this gloomy day quite a bit brighter
Hi there! Yesterday was Flex Train and today is PR Step#2. Writing up my November rotation. Using the new ones, plus Tabatacise, Cross Fire and To the Max. Concentrating on over all fat loss.
Brenda, the only way I could get up that early is if my house was on fire! I am going to be getting up about 30mn earlier this month. Trying 4:00 instead of 4:30. We'll see how it goes!
This morning I did HiiT Pyramid, BM2 abs, and Stretch Max using the band. I prefer Stretch Max without the equipment the best. I'd have to do the one with the ball again to see about that one, I haven't done that one in a while.
Sam - On average, I usually go to bed by 9pm. On days that I'm ore tired I try to get to bed early but is usually doesn't work. That is wonderful news about your friends!!
Susan - I've been getting up that early for so long now, I'm so used to it. Sunday is my sleep in day which I usually wake up at my normal time and from then until about 6:30 I'm up and down. It's my day to lay in bed a little extra in the morning. Sounds like your November rotation will be a good one.
Supposedly the dry waller is supposed to start on Tuesday. I'll have to start moving my stuff out over the weekend and keep what I'll use Monday morning and then plan on working out someplace else Tues AM since I won't have time in the morning to move stuff out of the way.
Enjoy the rest of your day and Happy Halloween!!
Brenda
This morning was my very last day of the STS rotation. I finished with shoulders, bi's and tri's and had a good workout. Finished it feeling strong!!
Nothing major planned for the weekend. Have to clean my parents house and my own but not sure how much I want to do with the dry waller coming and making everything dusty on me. Will probably do some spot cleaning. Otherwise will work on making some of my x-mas gifts. I might try making some organic lotion. I'll make it for myself and see how it turns out and who knows maybe I'll make more for gifts as well. I'm trying to be creative with some of my gifts this year.
Happy Friday! I finished D2S today with Phase 3 Strength 2. Felt great. I was even able to go heavier for a couple exercises. I would definitely do a rotation of that again in the future, but it will be way in the future . I did see some nice changes in my lower body, shoulders, and back. I'm very happy. Right now I'm looking forward to at least a week of all cardio and metabolic workouts.
Brenda- How do you get by on that little sleep? I must admit I need at least 7 or 8 hours most nights or I get cranky and have no immunity.
Susan- Oh, I forgot about Flex Train! I haven't tried it yet because of D2S. I think I'll find a way to fit that in soon along with the new lower body ones.
I'm headed up to West Bend for my SIL's birthday party tonight. It's a semi-surprise and should be fun. Other than that, we have a quiet weekend planned.
Hi Ladies! This morning was Knockout.
No big plans for my weekend other than yard work! Oh well, should burn extra calories!
Sam, I average about 5 hours a night as well. I don't tend to fall asleep until about 11 or so and then I am up between 4 & 4:30. I have always needed little sleep. Though I am sure I could benefit from getting extra ZZzzz's.
Brenda, I am going simple this year, though I have nto decided yet how! Too early for that!
