Morning BB's,

Today will be Low Impact Step Cardio & Weights Premix.

Going to be busy today, I have two interviews for at part timer, and then I have to be in training for the afternoon. }( Of course that training is for finance so it should be a yawn fest.

Have a great day!

Laurie

Hi ladies! Step Blast was for me this morning! I really like that workout!

Busy day today... I am already daydreaming about going back to bed!!

Stay strong-Susan

Good morning,

I had one of my best runs ever this morning, so I'm feeling good. Did about four and a half miles before I had to hurry home to get ready for work.

Laurie, enjoy your training ;)

Susan, Step Blast is a great workout, one of my favorites.

Like everyone else, I was bummed to hear that Cathe is injured again. Even though I haven't been using my DVDs much, I've been looking forward to her new ones! I'm going to have to stop stalling and buy the TLTs and a couple of others I think.

Take care,

Ellen

Hi Badgers,

I have an embarrassing check-in today. No w/o for me. Last night I went to the grocery store on the way home, bought some Pepper Jack Doritos, went home, ate about 3/4 of the bag and skipped my workout and didn't eat any other dinner. I'm still ashamed! I felt like a kid whose parents were gone for the weekend or something! Eating chips for a meal - sigh. I'm giving up chips for Lent and so it was my, um, Fat Tuesday (although I'll probably finish the rest today - bwahahaha!). So nothing to report to you.

Great job to everyone else on their workouts, though!

Susan - I love Step Blast, too. That's a good one.

Ellen - glad you had a great run! That's inspiring.

Have a good day! - Sarah

Hi BBs,
Still no workouts but am hoping to try something tonight. Finally started to feel like I have some energy back which so far means I can walk to my car in the parking lot without feeling like I will collapse. At least there is a glimmer of wellness.

Ellen - did you do that run this weekend? I never made it from the couch to the computer on Monday.

Sue - No official decision on the Lippert other than mine. Still working on DH. He finds out about his bonus next week so hoping it is a good one since I have so many ways to spend it. :) Either way we will be doing something but discussions have just started. I am sure he wil see the light!

Sarah - Sometimes you just need to give in to those cravings although maybe with more portion control. :) So instead of clean eating, this was coming clean about your eating! That is a good thing too. I'm sure they were wonderful and hope they aren't stale by the time Lent is over.

Hi, everyone!

Sarah - Pepper Jack Doritos sound so good! Doritos of any sort don't last long in our house. Don't beat yourself up. We all have bad eating days. Today is a new day, right. ;-)

Ellen - Good job on your running. I have the TLTs but the verdict is still out on whether I like them. I never got into the Firm so maybe that's part of the problem. A lot of people rave about them though . . .

Susan - Love the Blast Challenge in SB. Sometimes I tack that one onto another workout.

Marie - Hope your DH's bonus is big enough to spend on some fun things - like workout dvds for example? ;-) I get my bonus in 2 weeks - yeah!

Hi, Laurie and others to follow.

Did Cardio Party Remix 2 this morning followed by interval 7 of LowMax (my fave) and the blast only premix of LM (skipping #7 because I already did it and ran out of time anyway). I liked this combo but will probably do CP1 next time since I like it better. This was the 1st time I tried CP2 and I'm a little disappointed. The choreography, music and cuing are better in CP1.

Went to a 2 hour presentation last night on internet safety for your kids. Very disturbing and shocking stuff. Picked up loads of handouts with information on filtering and monitoring software, chat room slang and tips for parents. Our kids don't have a pc in their rooms so we're doing that right. Even though DD is only 10 (11 next month) and DS is almost 9, we'll be buying this software as soon as we can.

Decided to give up soda for Lent cuz I was drinking waaaaaaay too much of this stuff. I probably averaged 3-4 cans of Diet Dew a day! Brought Crystal Light to work because I get tired of plain water all the time and I had coffee this morning. So far, so good. Just bought a case of soda last weekend though so now I have to see it every time I open the fridge for the next 6 1/2 weeks!

Have a great "Hump Day" everyone!

Sue

Thanks for not beating me up about my splurge. I don't know what got into me. My son was watching 'toons. I didn't even take my work clothes off. Just sat there, read the paper, ate my chips and then wiped the crumbs off my clothes and was a lazy bum for the rest of the night. I've been splurging way too much on chips lately, especially the baked ones. I need Lent to kick my butt off of them. Even my skin looks worse, I think.

Thanks, y'all. Tonight I'm going to do PowerMax, 200 walking lunges and some abs. Get thee from me, Doritos! :) Sarah

I know how ya feel Sarah, I love crunchy, salty snacks. Pretzels are my downfall. I know they are relatively healthy for you but the sodium bloats me up like a balloon! I can eat pretty much a whole bag if I let myself. I have been going cold turkey on the salty snacks. It's been 1 week so far. My kids will get out the pretzels to munch and I just walk right by...but it's been hard! I feel better though. I just have to learn portion control when it comes to those things! Susan
