Good morning! Does anyone else feel like it's already a new year? It just seems that now that Christmas is over I have a new mindset about eating better. I have the exercise on track-now it's time for the eating work.

Today my friend is coming over again and we're going to do the step and weights 46 minute circuit from SJP. Then abs and a nice stretch.

We did the step only premix from C&W yesterday. I forgot how tough that is. It's so intense without the "breaks" in between the cardio to let your HR get down a little bit! My hip flexor is a bit sore and I'm thinking it's from doing a lot more step than I'm used to. I hope that goes away soon!

I feel like I am in prep mode for the new year but relieved that Christmas is over so I can even do that. I will eat better once the leftovers are gone. I am craving a nice salad.

I re-joined the health club this morning with the goal of doing at least 1 but preferably 2 spin classes a week to supplement my morning workouts. I even signed up for the spin class next Tuesday and put that on my calendar right away.

I got up this morning (major accomplishment!!) and did a short workout.

very disappointed that there still isn't any news from Cathe on the new workouts. I can't even remember what was in the group since it has been so long. The new CIA workouts look good and will probably pre-order these but at least we know when they will ship!

So glad it is Tuesday already even though it REALLY feels like a Monday.

Jill - I know what you mean about feeling like the new year is already here and starting fresh. I'm on day 2 of the August rotation and so far so good (as in it hasn't killed me yet! LOL). Also back to clean (mostly) eating. That C&W cardio only premix is tough and a lot of fun. Have fun with SJP today - I do that one tomorrow!

Marie - I'm itching for Cathe news on the DVDs, too! I really want something new so may break down and order either TJ or 1 of the new CIAs. I know what you mean about leftovers. :eek: We have lots of leftovers but aside from the ham which is very lean and a little bit of tater tot casserole last night, I haven't touched it. I'm seriously thinking about dumping the jello/fruit salads if DH doesn't eat them within the next 2 days. Kids won't touch 'em which leaves ME to eat them. x( They're the fattening kind with cool whip and lots of other yummies.

My workout today was Imax plus 200 walking lunges. The cat watched me do those lunges and just stared at me like I'm off my rocker or something. I'm happy to be a source of entertainment for him. :)
