Today will be KPC and the KM Leg Drills. Yesterday I smacked my toe on a weight. I did my run, but the toe sure looks purple. Oh well, it only hurts when I touch it, so I will not touch it! :D

Sue, they have the Perdue Short-Cuts at Pick-n-Save also. That is where I got mine. I purchased the Italian one yesterday, and it had the Functional Fitness (I think that was the one).

Hi girls.

Laurie, I heard about the dvd in the chicken. Are the dvds any good? I'm not a huge Kathy Smith fan-it's her, right?

Well guys, believe it or not, after all the work and planning, I took the for sale sign out of my yard last night. :( After much hemming and hawing and discussions with my ex (some of it not so nice), I decided I can't move to Elkhorn right now. Taylor would have to drive on Hwy ES between ET and Elkhorn and frankly, that is a scary, winding, pitch black road and for a new driver not a good idea. So I'm staying here for now. I have mixed feelings to be honest. I loved the condo!! I really did/do. But I love my house, too, so it's not like I'm totally unhappy. I will just have to do a year or two more of maintenance and yardwork. Yuck! But Taylor and I are going to have a serious talk about him helping out around here more. I am going to tell him his options are to help more or move to Elkhorn. He was real upset about it, too, and I know he'll be happy to stay here.

If something comes up for sale in ET that I like and can afford, I'm not opposed to moving there. I really would love to stay here. I love my little town.

By the way, today is my 40th birthday!! :)

Happy Birthday Jill!!!!:) I hope you enjoy it and that the year ahead brings you happiness! I can understand your reason for taking the house off the market. I hope your son is happy too!

Did Cardio and Weights this morning. Going off to walk the dog and I'll probably squeeze in some Pilates this evening. Everyone here is on the road to good health again! Yea!!

Sue - I got the soutwest chicken and it had the pilates/core DVD. I also got the italian and it had the same one Laurie mentioned. I really like it to put on salad for an easy lunch.

No workout for me this morning. I had trouble getting to sleep last night so needed that little extra sleep. Tonight is spin class.

Marie, funny you should ask. I just emailed her five minutes ago saying she needs to get over here. She hasn't been because she's been busy with work and my workouts have really stalled because of MY work and also the time I spent on the house. But I'm ready to get back on track.

One thing I'm proud of......I have kept off the 13 pounds I lost in January even through all the stress of the house stuff. My eating has been good and I haven't gained despite not exercising. :)

Hi Everyone,

I've been gone for a few days due to my parents being in town from Iowa. I only managed to sneak in a couple of workouts. Saturday, I did Bodymax and then yesterday I did the PUB Up the Pyramid Only premix, and tacked on PowerMax. What a golden oldie. All that 80's & 90's music - "Wild Thing", "Push It", etc. I had a blast.

Jill - Happy Birthday!!!! Treat yourself well today. Hope people are extra nice to you. Sounds like it's been really busy for you. Glad you are OK with your decision not to sell and move right this minute. I'm sure it will happen when the time is right. And good job keeping the weight off even without workouts. That's really good.

Good morning,

Today I did Muscle Max upper body and abs and Candlelight Yoga. I have my first trig exam tonight so I wanted to be sure to get my workout out of the way. I also have to start working on my first stats exam (I'm taking this course online so it's not quite as stressful).

Jill, happy birthday! I hope it's a great day for you. Good for you for following your instincts on the condo. You'll find the place that's right for you when it's the right time. And way to go on keeping off all the weight you lost, even with all the stress surrounding your house.

Laurie, take care of that toe!

Laurie/Marie - Thanks for the chicken info. I'm going to stop on my way home and see if they have any left. I've bought this kind of chicken before but don't know the brand. It's also good on tortillas with veggie cheese, salsa and peppers for a quesadilla.

Susan - Glad to hear your family is back on the road to health. So far, so good in our household (knock on wood).

Jill - Happy Birthday! It's also my brother's birthday - he turns 47.

Sarah - Good to hear from you. Sounds like you got in a couple of really good workouts with your in-laws in town.

Ellen - Good luck on your exam tonight!

Did PS-CST + PS-BBA this morning. I'm going to alternate either PS-CST or PS-SLA with cardio so I get either 2 upper/1 lower or 2 lower/1 upper workouts each week. PS always gives me the good results and I'm actually starting to see some nice definition in my shoulders again. Endurance workouts just don't do it for my upper body. I'll also try to add in legwork when I can. This morning I tacked on 100 walking lunges.
