Morning BB's,

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today will be a 30 min Interval Run / PLB Stability Ball / 15 min of Ab Hits.

Tastefully Simple party was fun. At least I was sitting down. Got to sample quite a bit of what they have available. I purchased some things that I could mix into my eggs and rice. One of them was a Cheesy Pepper Soup that I am thinking of mixing with some brown rice. This only had 6g of fat. :) I'm sure it wasn't CLEAN, but I like things to taste good too.

Have a great day!

Laurie

Happy V-Day BBs!
Laurie - the Cheesy Pepper Soup sounds good!

Sue - I just bought a few things at Sephora too. I got a mascara, colored eye brow wax, vanilla cinnamon body lotion, lip gloss... It was fun to look around and I agree it was overwhelming.

I never got to my kickboxing workout last night :( so this morning did QF Cardio Kicks (Janis Saffel). No spin class tonight since DH and I are going out to celebrate V-Day. Back-up plan would be Thursday night but (hopefully) someone is coming to give us an estimate on our shower. Worried about the weather forecast because the guy lives in Germantown. I really want to make a decision by the end of next week. DO ANY OF YOU KNOW ANYONE THAT HAS HAD THE ACRYLIC INSTALLED OVER THE TUB/SHOWER??? So many companies and not sure who to go with. DH wants to make sure we don't have any more leaking problems with this shower. We will hardly ever use it but nice to have the option. Right now we won't use it because of the leak and no one knows if it was the shower or door or both that were leaking.

Hello to all and a very Happy Valentine's Day! Hope it brings you all lots of lovin':)

I did Step Blast this morning and will be doing Pilates this afternoon.

Nothing planned for this evening because my hubby has to go to a visitation for his best buddies Dad. We'll have to celebrate later...

Have a great day ladies- Susan

Hi everyone,

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. No big plan for us - MAYBE a quick dinner out with the fam, and then watching the men's figure skating. Did anyone watch the pairs last night? High drama!

Last night was Body Max for me. Whew! That one is so long. I started it, my DH left for the store, shopped, came back, and said "You're STILL working out??" I was just on the abs so I was almost finished! I don't know if I'm ready for the new vids and "Body Max II". Body Max I poops me out!

Laurie - Cheesy Pepper Soup sounds awesome! It's making my stomach growl just thinking about it! Yum.

Sue and Marie - I would looooove to go to a Sephora. We're retail deprived up here, so I have to settle for online. I have a wee bit of an addiction to makeup and skincare.

Cheers! - Sarah

Good morning,

I did Body Max this morning. I thought I had the flu by the end of the day yesterday so went home and went straight to bed, but I woke up today feeling okay. Weird. My brother sounded this morning like he was getting sick. Ugh.

I'm so jealous of those of you that have access to a real, live Sephora! When I've looked at their Web site I've found it overwhelming, but the store is fun in person. I love makeup/skin care stuff.

Take care,

Ellen

Marie - We had the acrylic installed over the shower walls but not the tub. We should have done the tub, too, but opted to have it re-glazed. DON'T - I REPEAT DON'T - DO THAT! It (the glazing) started to crack almost immediately and we had it repaired. Now it's peeling like crazy and I don't know if it's under warranty anymore. Wish we would have installed a tub surround for the tub as well. Don't remember why we didn't or what company we went with. I'll ask DH.

Sue

Ellen & Sarah - Come to Milwaukee and you can visit Sephora at Mayfair Mall! Maybe our next GTG should be at Mayfair so we can eat and shop at Sephora afterwards.

Did PS-SLA this morning. Tomorrow is Cardio Kicks - looking forward to that.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Sue

Filming starting soon and to be complete before the first day of Spring. So maybe we will get the workouts in May!!! Yahoo!!!!

SUE - PLEASE check with DH regarding the company you went with. So glad to know someone that had it done. This is for a walk in shower in the 3/4 bath. Right now even the base is ceramic tile. All original from 1966 although it doesn't look too bad. The wall did though with the leaking. Could they come back and do your tub now? Did you just get the plain surface or the "tile"? Are you happy with it?

I like the idea of a GTG at Mayfair with shopping after! Many choices to eat. An amazing transformation for this mall although I always liked the skating rink they had when I was a youngster!

Marie - Sorry, I thought we had an acrylic tub-surround but DH corrrected me - it's a solid-surface material so more expensive and heavier. DH doesn't think they even do the tub portion in solid-surface which makes sense because it would be really heavy and thick to fit over your tub. No issues with leakage though on our tub-surround as far as I know (knock on wood) but we also had it professionally installed.

Ours is a plain surface (not tiled). If you're interested, I'll have DH find out the name of the product we used. I'm sure it's in our paperwork somewhere or we can call.

DH also thinks the peeling problem we've had with the re-glazing is from using suction-cupped bath mats which we found out after it was repaired the 1st time you shouldn't do. The repairman installed a textured area at the bottom of the tub so we wouldn't need a mat and we stopped using the mats but it still peeled. DH thinks the damage was already done but I'm not sure I agree. Having the tub repaired is on our never-ending list of "things to do". Every home-owner has one of those, right? ;-)

Sue

Sue - yes, I would be interested. I looked at some but because of the odd size base what I have looked at so far wouldn't work. I wouldn't mind just doing ceramic tile again but DH is too paranoid after the leak and the mess that made. I know our "things ro do" list is continually growing with no end in sight.
