Morning BB's,

Today will be PS Legs Standing and a 30 min run. Cardio Kicks was great last night, and I added the leg drills from KM.

I had done Low Impact Step on Tuesday. I have done this one two times now, and just have to say I really have fun doing this one. I wasn't going to get it because I thought it would be too easy to do. But I have been using it for those days that I want to work lighter. It doesn't get my heart rate up in the Imax zone, but I sure do sweat and have a great time with it.

So Thea, you asked the question earlier this week about if anyone does this w/o and do you enjoy it. My answer is a BIG yes. Have you done any of the sculpting portion?

Have a great day!

Laurie

Good morning BBs!

Good job this am, Laurie! Glad you like LIS. It is pretty fun. I'm not crazy about the music but I can deal with it. I have done the sculpting section but find it a bit easy. I did the pre-mix that is 2 sets of each exercise and got a better work out. I also did the pre-mix that is a circuit that combines LIS with the sculpting part and it was fun. I think it is over an hour too, so a fairly good workout. I was thinking I could add more jumps for even raise my step to 8 inches to get my heartrate up on LIS. Glad you like it!

This morning was treadmill for 30 minutes and Super Sets. I know Push Pull and Super Sets get kind of a bad rep on these boards for being easy but I like them. SS in particular has a fun factor to it and I love the music. I think you can make them plenty hard if you use enough weight.

Went out to eat last night and did well with not going overboard. I had some soft tacos and just a few of the chips and salsa! I usually pig out on the chips!

Hope you all have a good day, the weekend is getting closer! Oh, and can you believe Thanksgiving is only two weeks from today!! Crazy!

Good morning,

Today I did HSC, one of my favorites. I'm so glad it's almost the weekend.

Laurie, you and Thea are motivating me to try LIS! I ordered it when I preordered the new DVDs but haven't tried it yet. Sounds like fun.

Have a great day,

Ellen

Thea - I agree. I didn't like SS and PP after I first tried them but I did SS a couple of weeks ago for variety sake and got a pretty good workout. The key is going as heavy as you can and really focusing on the muscles you're working.

Legs are still sore so did Musclemax upper and abs only. I'll add on the lower portion to HSTA on Saturday. Hopefully, this won't make me so sore again on Sunday. I wanted to add some cardio onto this morning's workout since it was shorter so I grabbed Leslie Sansone. I couldn't even walk in place without my legs hurting (how pathetic is that?) so I gave up and went upstairs to read a book in bed! Glad my husband didn't come back early from the Y and say to me "So THIS is what you do instead when you say you're working out." LOL

Today was just a cardio day. Did Still Jumpin. 50 min. of intense fun. This has to be the best hi/low vid I've ever done.

Cooler weather is on the way! Suppose to get down to the 70's this weekend. Working out will get better. This has been a warmer than usual week, high 80's. It's still comfortable though, it's amazing how 90 degrees feels when the humidity is 15% and dew point 30 degrees.

I hope to start working next week. Though not my dream job, it will feel good to get out of the house.

Good workouts everyone!

Cynthia
