Today I am on the right day! :D I will be doing Muscle Endurance plus 15 min from Ab Hits.

Last night I stopped at the grocery store for some items. One of them happend to be pre-cooked chicken for my salad. They had some Perdue chicken there with a Kathy Smith Project You Strength: Lower Body/Abs DVD. It says to collect all three. I just feel bad for all those other DVD's that will get thrown away because no one will use them. ;(

Today is my Birthday!:D I am 38 now. Thanks to Cathe I fell like I am still in my 20's. Looking at my 9 & 6 year old I wonder where the time went??

Woke up and went for a 30 minute run followed by Cardio Kicks. I am beat today! Have to go to work and hope to spend a quiet evening at home. However with my 2 children "quiet" is rarely heard! :)

Laurie - I liked it better when yesterday was Thursday! I got one of the Kathy Smith DVDs too and then was looking for more but couldn't find them. I bought the southwest flavor and got the core/pilates one.

Today I feel like I belong. I did Kick Max/Low Impact Timesaver pre-mix.

Question from yesterday but later in the day so most of you were probably gone. Any good recs for Cathe strength training pre-mixes that are under 45 minutes for a total body workout? Prefer ones that just use weights (dumbbells, barbell) rather than the ball and/or bands. I wasn't thrilled with Push/Pull for that reason. My favorite that I have tried so far is Power Hour although many don't like this one.

The weekend is almost here! Hoping the snow stays south since I have an 8am spin class and new spinning shoes to try out!

Happy birthday, Susan! I hope you have a great one.

Bear with me, I am super crabby today. No good reason either; I just felt like I was growling through my whole workout. I had a devil on my shoulder, telling me to go back to bed, but the angel on the other shoulder won :)

Anyway, I'm tentatively incorporating parts of the January rotation on the days that I'm not scheduled to run, so today I started with five Imax 2 intervals and Boot Camp, although I didn't do the terminator climbers or the last cardio (the squat jumps... they just feel like they last forever). My legs never felt tired yesterday, even though I ran four miles, but this morning they really were. I may have to reconsider my plan.

Happy Birthday, Susan! I know what you mean about time flying. My son starts kindergarten next year and I just don't know where the time went. Jeez! I hope you have a nice night with your family. Good for you for working out on your birthday!

Last night I did PLB as part of my legs & glutes rotation, then added on some KPC cardio from the Timesaver DVD. Tonight I think the rotation calls for PUB.

Susan - Happy Birthday!!! You're still young and I'll bet you look like you're in your 20s;-) Awesome birthday workout. I'm tired just reading it.

Ellen - We all have our grouchy "I don't feel like working out" days. Glad the angel won over the devil for you. ;-)

Marie - Isn't there a Boot Camp upper/lower premix? It's probably only 20 minutes so you could do it twice. }( (I'd add in more chest and shoulder work also.) How about the weight segments from HSTA or HSC? Not sure what premixes are on these off-hand.

This morning was Boot Camp and Kickmax Intensity Drills. Someone compiled a list of all the drills in Kickmax so I printed it out and set it out so I could keep track. It really helped me pace myself and mentally prepare for the harder drills (hammer punch lunges and sequential power kicks for me).

I'm off tomorrow because the kids don't have school (teacher record day). Looking forward to sleeping in (I always say that, don't I?). In the morning I have an appointment with a dentist to get a teeth whitening kit - it's the kind with the trays that are custom made for your teeth. DH won it at his high school reunion and the results were so great I wanted it done, too! He gave it to me for my birthday last July and I'm finally getting around to doing it. LOL

Hi Everyone!

Checking in late I know. Did Christi's Cardio Collictibles and Jari's Ripped lower body and abs. I'm not real impressed with this one. Wondering what all the talk is about regarding this one. She needs to add more variety. Maybe I am too use to Cathe, but I was kinda bored and surprised how quick it went. Not sure if I got much of a lower body workout and then sometimes Cathe's premixes seem too much. Maybe I'm getting pickier, I don't know.

Collage sure has a few more advanced choices. Kelly Coffey's The Shape of Things To Come looks pretty good too. I think she is going to be a hit. She's very likable.

Felt like a WI day here in AZ. Windy, cloudy and cool(50's). Everyone was freezing. I just chuckle to myself.
