Buff Badgers Sept. 2-6

Good Morning

Today I have no clue what I am going to do. How is that for decisive.

Dani, hope you have fun tomorrow. Glad you have somewhere for DD to go that she will enjoy. I bet you will be sleeping well tonight on your new mattress. eight weeks is a long time to be rotating 3 workouts.

lala, yea for weight lifting. How did it feel? Any DOMS? Hope you have fun at your race. Good thing you realized you need to change your reservations now instead of thinking you had a room on the wrong weekend.

Susan, did the pilates help your back? Glad you are liking your job. Good thing you are so strong. Hope you get caught up on your housework without loosing to much weekend time.

Laurie, how was the walking weather today?

Sue, I haven't seen to many blogs lately. I was replying to them but then I get emails from Cathenation all the time saying more replies to this thread etc. It filled up 6 lines of e-mail one day. So, needless to say I am just reading them but do enjoy it.

Tomorrow DH and I are going on a 2 hr. bike ride. Sun. who knows? Maybe another rest day.

DS lost his soccer game 0-9 to Chippewa Falls. We are trying to drop a class for him but the people at the school say yesterday at 8:00 was the cutoff. It's apparentaly in the handbook:confused: I am waiting for a call back from the principal.

Enjoy your weekends all. Hopefully the weather warms up just a tad.

Morning BB's,

Today was a 2m Run and Legs & Glutes. Should have a few DOMS in the glutes tomorrow.

Went out with some friends last night and had a couple of margaritas. Very tasty.

Sue, I don't remember the name of the place, but it is the Mexican resturant that is in the old Waukesha Depot (you probably know the name). They really do make some very good margaritas. :D

Karen, I'm wondering if the getting up in the morning is because it is so dang dark again. Boy I wish that early morning light would last a lot longer than a couple of months. :D This morning I had to wear sweat pants and a t-shirt. I learned my lesson from yesterday! Let us know when you make up your mind as to what you are planning for your workout. I have those days that I just don't know till I try something out. :D Sorry to hear about DS's loss. Do they really expect us to read those handbooks right away! I have two of them to read, and dang those things are boring! ;) I used to work in the office at school when I was younger. I was the one that made up the handbooks with all the excess paper. How many reams of canary yellow can one school have!

Dani, LOL, sometimes I wish I could just walk back into the house from the crappy weather, but our dog has never been comfortable doing her business in our yard. So our walks are her chance to get her duty done for the day. Not that I'm spoiling her, when we first got her from the humane society, she was scared about being in our back yard by herself in the dark! A new mattress and P90X on the same day, very exciting. :) Enjoy both of them. Have a great time tomorrow at Great America!

Lala, My brother and his family live in Duluth. They have so many steep hills there, you have to let me know how the course is run. I can't even imagine going down or up some of those things. Congrats on the lifting of the weights! Doing a happy dance for you! :D

Susan, Oh wow you have to do some heavy lifing! ;) Bet your back will get used to it soon enough, just remember to keep up with those ab workouts! :) Sounds like you are getting to be in the same boat I'm in for the weekends. Just not enough time in the day for everything to get done. :(

Have a great day!

Laurie

Hello again,

I decided to do HSA cardio then cardio/leg premix. I also did 10 min pilates for abs and flexibility.

Laurie, nice you got to go out last night with some friends. Did you just have drinks or did you eat also? L&G is a good workout. Are you still following a running program?

Karen - I have those days, too, when I can't figure out what to do. I've even started a workout and changed to a different one after about 2 minutes. My mood varies I guess which is why I find it so hard to stick to a rotation. Haven't had time this week to blog. Need inspiration, too.

Laurie - I can't remember the name either but I know exactly where that restaurant is. A margarita sounds really good right now. :)

Rough day yesterday at work. I won't go into the details but it was a cuddle up on the couch and watch tv night so I didn't do PUB biceps or PLB floorwork. Slept in this morning and boy did that feel good. Tonight DS has Youth Football Night at the high school so I'll be home late. Hope to get in a workout before his game tomorrow at noon.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Hello All,

Well I decided on Cardio Fusion. Go Figure. I waited all day to work out so I wouldn't have to stop in the middle of my workout. Well by 2:30 my daughter said she was tired so that was my cue. I called DH and said the bed will come in 45mins because I am going to workout. I get thru everything except for the last drill. I start doing my football runs and then the Colder's truck pulls up. 5 minutes later the UPS man shows up, so everyone is here at the same time. At least they only took about 10 minutes and I finished my last drill. Unfortunately the squat thrust, jump tuck move does not get easier. LOL

Laurie was it La Estacion? The place with the railroad cars. They have good food there. I love mexican food. Jealous!!

Susan I hope your job is going well. Sounds like you will get a back workout there.

Sue I am sorry you had a bad day at work yesterday. I hope today was better. And it is Friday. Maybe I should go out and have a cocktail.

Karen have fun on your bike ride tomorrow. It is suppose to be nice. Sorry to hear about you son's lost. Hopefully next time.

LaLa great job working out with weights. I bet it feels wonderful to get back into working out again. Were you able to change your hotel reservations? I hope so.

Have a great weekend ladies!!;)

HI there! For being a short work week, it sure felt like a long one! LOL!:p Woke up late today (thought it was Saturday) so Ruby had to get a short walk. I promised her a nice long walk tomorrow! My back felt better this morning must of been all the stretching I did last night! After school I did CTX Kickbox (cardio only) followed by Slow/Heavy Tricep work and some abs. Saturday is a long walk, followed by CTX Power Circuit(cardio) and S/H Biceps. Sunday is Pilates and walking.

We have a 40th B-day party to go to for a friend of ours tomorrow. DH was told he has to attend a seminar tomorrow for work. He was not happy about that! DS* has his first flag football game in the morning. Sunday I start teaching Sunday school again. We are combining out classes this year so now I have Pre-K,K, and 1st graders! It'll be fun!

Dani, I bet you'll sleep well tonight! ;)

Laurie,a margarita sounds very nice right now! If only I were drinking! :p

Sue, Enjoy your weekend and next week will be better for you! I am sure your body is enjoying it's time off so don't fret about missing a couple workouts! Life happens!

Karen, when you and DH ride for 2 hours do you take a break?LOL! :D I know I would! I also would not be able to walk the next day so it would be my day of rest! ;) Sorry they lost their game last night. Our HS football team, is awful. Well, my DH says it's not that they're awful they just are in a very tough division and all the other teams are really good! The only team we win against is from the next town over(our rivals). But somehow, those football players are always in good spirits whether they win or lose! They boys looked so nice today is their shirts and ties....

Lala, are ya sore at all today? I hope you enjoy being back to your workouts! Now, don't push yourself too hard and get hurt again!!

Take care ladies- Susan
