Good Morning!

That darn arthritis. Its good though that it showed no abnormalities. Now waiting to see what they say about your shoulder.

This morning did MP Overload workout B, burnout session, 20 min on elliptical ended with some stretches. Next week I start the last phase called "Max". Oh boy.. the name scares me a little. :eek:

Yesterday at DH's work, one of his workers collapsed and had a stroke.. 35 years old. His wife is due to have their baby any day. I believe her due date is the 23rd. He ended up having surgery yesterday afternoon. I feel so bad for them. This is their 3rd child. We don't know them well but I hope she has support from family to help her during this difficult time. DH is going to see him today at the hospital, provided he's allowed visitors outside of immediate family. Scary how quickly things can change.
 
I have mild degenerative arthritis in my shoulder. I have to schedule an appointment with the physical medicine and rehab team for consultation and determine if a steroid shot will be appropriate. I just want the pain to go away. I will call them in the morning and hopefully will get an appointment soon. It's amazing how a painful shoulder can impact my daily routine.

Good Morning!

Well, on the up side of it, at least its mild degenerative arthritis. I have a friend who has shoulder issues and she gets a cortisone shot in her shoulder from time to time to help with the pain and she says it helps.

This morning I did 5 miles on the elliptical with the majority of STS Stretch.
 
My appointment is not until June 9th. I hope to get in some walking or something before then if it feels better.

I was hoping you'd be able to get in fairly quick for your appt. Time goes so fast these days, the 9th will be here before we know it.

This morning I did the last day of Metabolic Prime Overload workout C, burnout and 20 min on the elliptical. My legs have really been feeling it by the end of the week on Overload weeks. With all these squats though, I'm able to go deeper on my squats which is a good thing. Legs and butt definitely feel strong and more solid, which is good. I don't feel like my bi's and tri's have been getting a good workout though. Chest and shoulders... definitely... back.. kind of so so.

Looking forward to the nice weather this weekend. Plan on getting outside and doing some yard work both days.

Good Morning!

Saturday morning had my Tabata Bootcamp class which went well. Saturday afternoon I tilled up my garden (which will no longer be a garden). It's infested with thistles and I wanted to till up the weeds and smooth out the dirt somewhat so we can spray weed killer and then later try seeding it. My hands and shoulders are sore. It took me about 2-1/2 hrs to do that. Sunday, I planted some flowers for a friend and barely got any of my own yard work done. I have so much weeding and stuff I want/need to do. Hopefully the holiday weekend won't be too bad so I can get some stuff done outside.

This morning I started Metabolic Prime - Max workout A... Holy moly!!! I'm going to hate burpees by the time these next 3 weeks are over. First exercise was a burpee (with a push up at the bottom), second exercise was a burpee with a bent over row, 3rd was a burpee, bent over row, bicep curl, 4th exercise was a burpee, bent over row, bicep curl, into overhead press. The last exercise of each round was a finisher and was different. Then I did the burnout afterwards. Those exercises were push-up, row, up into a bicep curl and overhead press and each time you did it you added on (2 push-ups, 2 rows, 2 curls, 2 overhead presses, etc). The second one was lie flat on your back, come up into a squat jump (sounds easy but it's not). The 3rd one was 4 squat jumps, 4 knee in planks, 4th was split jump lunges, and then finished with the bench mark exercise. Then I cooled down with a relaxing 20 min on the elliptical and some stretching. I can just imagine what the other 2 workouts are going to be.

Last night I had my kickboxing class. I had 4 people sign up. Two of the people are my sisters. My one sister said she hated me worse than Jillian Michaels. I laughed and said I took that as a compliment. :D This morning I did 5 miles on the elliptical with the STS Extended Stretch which felt great.

That final phase Metabolic sounds true kick butt.

I admire your passion for gardening and yard work. I bet you are so relaxed and have a feeling of getting away when doing it.

My shoulder is better but not normal. I will probably start cardio soon. I will tell you this---- I put on a dress this morning and my butt looks good in it...shout out to all those squats. The dress is very old and I just stopped wearing it the last few years because whenever I put it on my butt didn't look flattering in the dress. I had made it to either 75 or 80 squats so I need to pick back up.

75-80 squats.. that is awesome! Don't you love when you notice stuff like that... my butt looks pretty good in this. You should admire your butt, you worked hard for it. ;) I know I can tell my legs and butt feels firmer with all the squats and what not I've been doing in Metabolic prime. Hope the shoulder continues to get better.

This morning was MP- Max workout B which was 1st-lunge,squat, lunge, 2nd was lunge,squat,lunge, bicep curl, 3rd was lunge, squat, lunge, bicep curl, overhead press, 4th was lunge, squat, lunge, bicep curl, press, eccentric front raise and then the 5th exercise of the round was a finisher of some sort. Once in a while he tortured our legs some more other times focused on upper body, and then of course those darn burpees. After all that I did the burnout and did a relaxing 20 min on the elliptical. My legs are feeling it.
 
Good Morning!

My butt is feeling yesterdays workout. This morning was 5 miles on the elliptical and STS Extended Stretch.

Have had a headache the last couple of days. Worse than normal. I have headaches all the time. The past couple days have been worse than normal. Not sure if its tension headache or sinus. Yesterday felt more like a tension headache, today feels more sinus related.

We've been having warmer temps this week but lots of rain in the forecast.
 
The weather was gorgeous yesterday and expected to be great this weekend too. A few scattered showers in the forecast bit mostly sunny and high 80's.

My brother, sister in law and mom will be in town tomorrow for my sister in laws family reunion. They are coming a day early to spend time with us before headed up the extra miles for the reunion. I have so much cleaning to do. Maybe I can hide some stuff.

Good Morning and Happy Friday!!

This morning was MP - Max workout C, the burnout and 2o min on elliptical. This workout was a crunch & get up(meaning stand upright), then crunch, get up, squat jump and then crunch, get-up, squat jump, bicep curl, and then crunch, get up, squat jump, bicep curl, & overhead press. The finishers were mainly core work. The last one was push-ups.

The weather has been good my me too and the weekend is supposed to be nice. Chance of scattered storms most days but not supposed to be anything major. I'm looking forward to the 3 day weekend.

I decided to do some elliptical cardio today. I did 40 minutes followed by 85 squats and variety of Core. It felt really good to workout. I will not be picking back up with Meso 2 though. Muscle Max may be the best I can do but I will wait and see if even that.

Beautiful weather this weekend. We got some late showers yesterday though.

This morning was High Reps. I have not done that one is a very long time. I thought it would be great since the weights are moderate and I also decreased the reps when needed. Funny how much stress is added to the shoulder when doing Biceps.
