Buff Badgers Month of April

Prayers to you as I know it is a difficult time. It's so hard seeing loved ones suffer.

I had lunch with some former colleagues on Sunday and that was so much fine.

No workouts for me over the weekend and then I overslept big time yesterday. My oldest son came in the room to wake me up and it was 6:45 yikes.

I got in some elliptical cardio today.

Glad you enjoyed your time with your former colleagues. It's nice that you were all able to get together.

Work by me has been interesting. Found out yesterday that we had two people give notice. We have lost 6 people within a month and now 2 more gave notice. Moral here is so low and stress is so high. It's a bad deal.

Today for me was 5 miles on the elliptical and STS Extended Stretch.

Nothing else too exciting to report.
 
Yesterday was elliptical cardio.

My uncle passed away so I traveled to GA for his funeral. The service is Saturday and I left today. I will check back in next week on Monday.

Yesterday I did 5 miles on the elliptical and today was MP Workout C, the Burnout, and 20 min on the elliptical.

Work has been exceptionally crazy this week and next week isn't going to be any better. I have training the majority of the week and need to try and stay on top of the day to day stuff.

The weekend was kind of uneventful. Saturday was a very busy day. Sunday was a little calmer.

Saturday had my Tabata Bootcamp class, Sunday my walking consisted of walking around the yard at No No's Restaurant picking up big sticks getting ready for spring clean up. This morning I did week 3 of MP Energize workout A, the burnout session, and 20 min on the elliptical and finished with some stretching.

This week is going to busy. I have training at work the majority of the week.

This morning was 5 miles on the elliptical and STS Extended Stretch.

Temps are back into the upper 40's, low 50's. :(
 
I just realized that I forgot to post yesterday. Monday was 45 minutes of elliptical cardio. Today was Meso 1 chest, shoulders and Biceps. I did some push-ups on stability ball as modification and skipped some of them.

It was nice seeing my family even though it was for a sad occasion.

Elliptical cardio followed by 30 squats with light weights and 30 sit ups with the stability ball.

Temps are dropping back to the 60s after being in the high 70s and 80s.

I'll take the 60's. We've been in the 40's. :(

Have another full day of training today at work starting at 9am and goes until 5pm. I'll be glad when this week is over with.

Glad you enjoyed your time with your family despite the sad occasion.
 
I guess I should not complain about the 60s ☺.

Been a looonnnngggg week.

Today was my last day of Metabolic Prime Energize workout C, burnout, and 20 min on elliptical. Next week I start the overload phase. We'll see what that entails.

Tomorrow DH and I have an apt for a massage. That will feel good.

STS is going fine. I modify as needed. Even though I was away a few days I just jumped back in without stressing about. Keeping an eye on my shoulder and keeping weights lighter.

No workouts on Friday. Saturday was Lower Body Blast premix and 20 minutes on elliptical.

It's a rainy Sunday morning. No workout. Getting ready for church and we will go out to dinner this evening to celebrate DH birthday.

Happy Monday. It was a cool, rainy day yesterday. Temps higher today but no sun expected.

My workout today was RWH LoHiit One followed by 20 minutes of elliptical cardio, 40 squats with 20 pounds and 40 sit ups with the stability ball.

Good Morning!!

Saturday was cool and rainy. Sunday it was cool and rainy in the morning by me. Some sun in the afternoon but not much. Looks like this week is supposed to warm up some with rain here and there.

Saturday I had my Tabata Bootcamp class. We did partner training in this one. It was fun. Yesterday was my rest day. This morning I started Metabolic Prime - Overload workout A. I understand why they call it over load. Some of the things we did was bicep curl, squat, (while in the squat), bicep curl. Then we did front raise, squat, front raise. Shoulder press, squat, shoulder press, lat raise, squat, lat raise. Each round had a different finisher (push ups, dumbells rows, squat jumps, split jumps). Followed that with the burnout which consisted of crunch with chest press (it was all about the squeeze and hold), more squat jumps, 4 bicycles/4 mountain climbers, more split jumps, then the bench mark (burpee, push-up, squat jump). On the bench mark one, I get through the push-ups on the 5th one. Then I cooled down with 15 min on the elliptical and some stretching.

I do miss Cathe's workouts. I want to stick this out. 6 more weeks.
 
I admire you for sticking it out. You are almost there.

Today was disc10 chest, shoulders and Biceps. I overslept so I skipped some segments. Just glad I got it in. I also got in my 45 squats and 25 sits and 20 bicycle crunches. You may have noticed that I have been doing squats. My cousin posted a 30 day squat challenge and I decided to do it since heavy leg work is not my friend. I think I started at 20 and it increases by 5 each day and have some rest day. I just do them on my workout days and not worry about their sequence because it may be different that my workout schedule. I think it ends with 150 squats. I added the 20 lbs since I am not a beginner.

I started a May thread. Good for you with the squat challenge. I know Metabolic Prime has a lot of squats.
