Morning BB's,

Today will be HC Extreme #2 and 200 walking lunges. Saturday is Bodymax and Sunday is rest. I might take my DD out and run with her on Sunday, if the day is nice. I just love that we can do that together.

Getting ready for the families to come over on Saturday to celebrate the girls B'days. I let the girls decide what they want to serve. Surprise they chose Taco's, their favorite meal. This isn't to hard on me either. Only thing to chop up is the tomatoes, the store provides everthing else all chopped up. I saw that they had onions pre-chopped the other day. I'm getting lazy in my old age.

Marie, yes we like the landscaping print they provided. We followed it, and did it on the five year plan. That is what we like the best!

Have a great day!

Laurie

Hey ladies! Only 2 more weeks of tax season left and I can get back to posting regularly. Between that and house stuff I just don't have time for anything fun on the computer. :(

The house......what a fiasco. I won't go into all the details, but I decided to not buy the house in Spring Prairie after I found out they misrepresented a couple of things that were legally supposed to be disclosed to me.

I worked out a plan with my ex, so today I am going to Elkhorn to write an offer on the original condo I wanted to buy there in February! My ex had a fit that it was too far, out of his way to go to work, etc....but we worked it out. My first choice would definitely be to stay in East Troy, but I can't find anything under $200,000 that will work for us and doesn't need tons of work. Single woman does not equal handyman lol. He realized that I've tried my best to stay here and can't, and I was sooo thrilled when I found out "my" condo was still for sale. Not only that, they want to get rid of the last ones they have so they've lowered the price and I'll be paying $5,000 less. Yay!!

Take care, I miss you guys!
Jill

Hi BBs!

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!! No sleep - no workout! Not sure why I couldn't sleep but finally got out of bed at midnight and took a tylenol PM.

Laurie - thanks for the info. I have a call in to them and waiting to get more info. What is the 5 year plan? Do you need to buy all the plants from them? Hope the party goes well! That is really nice that you and your daughter can run together.

Jill - good to see you back. Sorry to hear about all you are going through but happy that the condo is still there for you. I know you were really excited about it and how condo-life will be easier on you and more time for workouts! Are you still going on vacation or did you decide not to with all the house stuff? Did you ever find a home for the dog? Sorry if I missed that.

So glad the weekend is here. DH has his first marathon of the year tomorrow - the Trailbreaker!

Hi Ladies! Can't believe that March is already over! Where did it go?
Today was Pilates for an hour and I'll be doing Kickbox cardio portion later. Saturday is Step,Jump and Pump and Sunday will be a run.

Laurie, I hope your girls have fun with their party.

Jill, Hope everything works out with buying the condo. It's great they dropped the price too!

Have a great weekend! Stay strong- Susan

Hi Marie. I did not find a home for Mace. We did increase my son's meds though (not just because of the dog) and that seems to have helped a LITTLE bit. Plus as the dog gets older, hopefully he'll get more calm. My friend and I are going to Branson, MO for a 5 day trip in mid-May. We both decided we just couldn't find something nice enough for the money we had to spend, and we both like country music, so it will be fun. Just getting AWAY anywhere would be fun! Thanks for asking!

Good luck to your DH tomorrow!

Marie, we didn't have to buy all the plants from them. We found a place in New Berlin that had nice plants. We had a five year plan because we couldn't afford all the plants. We have a large yard and we had just built our house. So we initially bought some from McKay and then when we could afford more we went to another nursery. But we used there suggestions on the plants from the prints.

Hi Everyone,

Happy Friday, whoohooo!!!

Laurie - Good luck with your party this weekend. I was in the same boat last weekend. It was clean, clean, clean, cook, cook, cook. This weekend I'm taking it easy! Tacos sound great though - and I'm totally with you on the store doing all the work with the chopping, etc. My fruit plate NEVER looks as good as the one from the store!

Jill - Glad tax season is on the wane! My brother-in-law is a CPA and we send our taxes to him, and he is just going crazy. He lives at the office in this time. Glad you might be getting the condo - that sounds so much easier than a house.

Marie - I hear you on the Tylenol PM. I was using that last week a few nights when I was so stressed about the party with a million things running through my head.

I did the silliest thing during my workout last night. My rotation called for Imax 2, but I just did NOT feel like working out. Got into my workout duds, ate a couple pieces of bread, and then started the workout. I got 1/2 way through and just felt a little defeated. So I stopped in the middle, and ate 1/2 cup of Edy's Slow Churned Coffee Ice Cream, then went back and finished and did the abs from Cardio and Weights. Somehow I don't think that is the recommended energy boost that Cathe would suggest. }(

Have a good weekend, everyone. - Sarah

Jill, glad to hear from you. Now we know why you have been AWOL. I figured you were busy with the tax season. Glad you could work out the condo. I'm guessing you will be happier with that option. No lawn mowing.}( That is something I'm looking forward too. Again laziness in my old age. ;-) DH and I are looking forward to the day the girls are out of the house. We plan on getting a condo too.

Laurie

Sarah, I had to smile at the way you got you energy boost! :9 I don't see a problem with it. Of course mine always seems to be Ben & Jerry's. }( They have some great lite options available. Love the carmel one.

Laurie

Sarah - but your energy poost contained calcium! Does the coffee flavor have caffiene?

Laurie - I can never associate you and lazy! I think of those things as short cuts to help us fit more in to our busy lives. I am not much of an ice cream person but love Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey! Sometimes in the summer, DH and I go to Oscar's esp if they have caramel cashew!! :)

Jill - Your trip to Branson sounds nice but you are right - just getting away is the best part. Glad things are working out better with the dog.

Jill - Good news on the condo still being available and at a lower price. Hope you get to keep Mace.

Sarah - I like your energy boost, too, except mine would be Culver's Turtle or Cookies 'n Cream flavors - yum, yum!

Marie - Hope your tooth starts feeling better soon and you get some sleep.

Laurie - Have fun at your birthday dinner for your girls.

Did SH Shoulders + 10-10-10 cardio this morning. Tomorrow is supposed to be an Imax and SH Biceps but if the weather is nice, I might go outside for a jog/walk instead. I haven't jogged all winter so I have to start out slow.

Yesterday, I was so weak and tired all day. Had to fast for my ultrasound so no food or liquids past midnight and this made me feel really weak, dizzy and nautious. Then having the scanner pressed on my abdomen while I held my breath wasn't fun either. Even after I ate, I felt sick. Feeling better today. Get the results next week.

Going to Skateland tonight for a birthday party for DS.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Sue

Hello,

This has been a busy day so far. I'm definitely ready for the weekend.

This morning I did Boot Camp cardio and legs and most of HSC (I didn't do the last two cardio portions). Tomorrow will be a 10-mile run, or I'll go as far as my legs will carry me. I hope the weather is nice; nine miles on the treadmill last week was not fun.

Jill, glad to see you back. I hope the condo comes through for you. Every time you post about the frenzy of tax season, I'm reminded that I need to do my taxes. And yet, I still haven't done them ;) I hope everything works out with Mace too. Every dog I've ever had (and that's quite a few) has calmed down after about age 2.

Laurie, tacos sound delicious! Have fun with your family get-together.

Marie, good luck to your husband!

Sarah, you're not alone in the ice cream realm. I stopped at the grocery store on my way home last night, and one of my purchases was Ben and Jerry's chocolate fudge brownie ice cream. Yum! I felt no guilt :)

Sue, I hope you feel better and that you get the results you want from your ultrasound. Take care.

Hello to Susan!

Have a great weekend,

Ellen
