Hi, ladies!

I had a nice weekend. My mom and I took DS to the Fair on Saturday, which was a lot of fun. My poor mom had a stomach bug, so we didn't stay as long as we originally planned, but DS got to do all the fun stuff he wanted to.

Saturday was the Phase 1 Countdown Metabolic Workout. I liked it a lot, but I thought there was a little too much rest time. I bet there will be less rest in Phase 2. No workout on Sunday.

Today was Phase One Strength One. I upped my lower body weight to 25's, and I managed to do both sets of shoulder presses with 15's. I was pretty proud of myself :D

I am really enjoying this rotation. I feel like I'm really getting stronger and my clothes are all fitting much better now.

Weekened was productive. Got everything done I wanted to. Saturday's workout was All Out Low Impact HiiT and Cardio SS. Sunday was my rest day. Today was Week 3 of STS Meso 1 Disc 7 chest, shoulders, and bi's. I surprised myself with all the push-ups and managed to do all of them on my toes.

Sam - Glad you had fun at the Fair. I've only gone to the State Fair once. What is the name of the program you are doing again. I would like to check it out online.

Hi Ladies. Saturday was a run with DH and Sunday and Monday were rest days. I didn't plan on resting Monday but I didn't sleep well on Sunday night. Today was Imax 3 through interval 8 because I slept later than should this morning but I am determined to get in some of my older workouts and I just didn't want to do a Hiit. Then again, I was gasping for air at the end of interval 8 too so lucky me to be short on time. The step is just too complex in Imax 3 so now i see why I really don't use it.

Sam--fairs are fun so glad DS had a blast.

Brenda---are you doing an STS rotation or just throwing them in as you feel like it?

This morning I did Tabatacise All 5 levels and core #1. Felt hard, as usual, and felt good all the same time.

Hearty - I'm going to try and do the STS rotation again. It's hard once I get passed Meso 1 because the workouts run a little longer than an hour. I'm going to try and stick with it. I'm not huge fan of Imax 3. The one blast where you jump the length of the step and then across... I really dislike that one. I don't mind some of the combo's and blasts and then there are those I really don't like. I guess you'll have that though. :)

Hello! No real workout for me today. Just a walk with the dog this morning, and I'm about to take him for a nice long one now to work off some of my dinner (I went and made a pound cake...:eek:) Plus, I love this temperature.

Heartymax- I like Imax 3 but I usually don't do the whole thing. I like to do the premix with all the combos and no blasts. If I'm feeling good, I'll go back to the beginning and do the first five intervals with the blasts.

Brenda- It's called Drop Two Sizes. The instructor is Rachel Cosgrove. The book actually came before the DVDs. The book has very similar exercises, but you need either a TRX or access to a gym that has one. You're a pretty advanced lifter, so the beginning might be pretty easy for you. You'd have to heavy up, that's for sure. It doesn't have any isolated bicep or tricep work, which isn't a big hang up for me, but I know you like to work your biceps ;)

Well, we're have way through the week! This morning was Meso 1 Disc 8 Back and Tri's. I love the bent over rows but I always need to be careful with those with my lower back. The weight workouts have been going real good the past few weeks. Hopefully I can keep it up.

Sam - I'm not enjoying the cool temps in the morning but the days have been very nice. I'm going to sit outside and eat my lunch. Love to be in the sun. I'll have to check that out to learn more about it. Yeh, you know me, love working my bi's. ;)

Today was Burnsets biceps and Triceps. Things are really busy at work trying to get ready for opening of school year.
 
Good morning! Today was D2S Phase One Strength 2. I used a 25 in each hand for the step ups and had some trouble with it. It's so hard on my hands to hang on to the heavy weights for that long that I had trouble focusing on my legs. Not sure if I should try a barbell next time...

Brenda- I'm glad the weight workouts are going well. There's a lot of bent over stuff in D2S. I have to really watch my lower back, also.

Good morning. Today I did 4DS Higher Intensity Step. Definitely one of my top five Cathe workouts :D

This morning I did Hardstrikes and 5 out of the 6 cardio blasts from Drill Max. Was running out of time so I skipped the last blast.

Last night went to a friends 50th b-day party. Was fun. With having to work today we only stay for a couple of hours.

Hearty - Great job on keeping up with the workouts despite the busy schedule.

Sam - I like 4DS HIS but I don't do it very often. Doesn't get my heart rate up there were I'd like it to be. Your hands will eventually build up the strength but until maybe back off a few pounds if you can or not do as many reps with the heavier weight. You just want to make sure you keep good form. ;)

Sam---you hit the nail on the head....I think I get a better workout from Imax 2 also because I always have to stop and catch up on the fancy footwork with Imax 3. For a while, I am going to try to make sure that I do one workout a week that I don't use alot. Not sure how long I will do this but at least for now. I've heard great things about 4DS but I don't own it.

Brenda---I love Drill Max. I think I need to have it on deck for next week. I don't like the drill when you jump around the step and tuck. Good job on your weight work--glad it's going well. That means awesome results!

I decided to get in an hour of cleaning yesterday morning instead of working out. That felt really good to do also. My mother in law is ill. She had colon surgery a few days ago so DH traveled home to see her. I'm not clear on whether they think it is cancer or not.

I just finished Bootcamp. That workout is super awesome and fun. I love it. I hope to...or should I say that I better get out and get some school shopping done this weekend.

Hearty - I love Bootcamp. With constantly doing something different, it seems to go so fast. Sorry to hear about your MIL. I hope it's not cancer. That is one horrible disease. My thoughts and prayers are with your family wishing the best possible outcome. Have fun school shopping.

Good afternoon. Today is THAT day of the month. I wasn't sure I'd manage it, but I did get to Phase 1 Strength 1, though much later in the day than normal.

Brenda- Thanks for the tip. With all my weight lifting, I never thought about strengthening my hands much :p I do have short fingers and my power block handles are kind of thick, so I think that's part of it.

Heartymax- Sometimes I clean instead of working out, too. With all the pet hair I'm constantly cleaning up, it's a lot of work! So sorry to hear about your MIL. I'll say a prayer for her.

DH and I are going to Irish Fest tomorrow. I'm super excited! I think green fingernails are in order :D

Hi ladies! Another week with a bum tendon. I just don't understand what is taking so long for it to heal! I do really NO impact at all and still it aches. I know I was told it can take up to 2 months but I am losing my patience! I do pilates at least 1-2 times day. My core is definetly stronger and my abs are flatter but I want to jump and run and all the fun stuff! :DHoping it is all better before Cathe's new workouts are done!
