BUFF BADGERS 7/23 - 7/27

Sue, isn't baseball over yet? I thought the tournament was the end of the season. Still reading HP book. I guess that is more important than sleeping. A vacation to Washington DC. I guess I knew you were planning but had forgotten you were actually going. You leave on the day of our time trial. I'll think of you on your vacation in a happy place. Do you think that will work?

Laurie, Does you DH have any sport he does? I guess biking is something almost everyone can do. Maybe someday all your exercise will rub off on him. Enjoy Imax 3. Still one of my favs. I have a lot of favorites of Cathe's, did you notice that?

Enjoy

Karen - No, baseball is not over until Sunday. DS was in 5 tournaments this year. The league tournament is this week and another tourney this weekend. Don't think about us getting up at 4 a.m. (or maybe earlier?) to make our 6 a.m. flight - that'll tire you out.;-)

Sue

Sue, thats the time we have to get up to drive almost 3 hours to start racing around 7 or 8, I can't remember which. I'll be plenty tired. I hope I can sleep that night. Have fun at the tournaments this weekend.

Happy Friday!

Today so far I just got my walk in. When I woke up my stomache was very queasy. I think its due to TTOTM! I am waiting for it to go away so I can workout. Haven't decided what I want to do yet though!

Otherwise I just need to take the kids to swim class and drop off my sisters Birthday present to her. She is 10 years older than me. She refuses to accept her age which I find amusing. She tells me to "wait til I am 49". She thinks it's odd that I am looking forward to turning 40 in January...:)

No plans for the weekend. DH is helping a friend finish his deck so I will proabably take the kids to the beach!

Take care! Susan

Morning BB's,

Today will be KM Low Impact Timesaver. Another premix that I have never done. One thing about this rotation that I like is using all the premixes. :)

Susan, Sounds like you will be having a nice relaxing weekend. The beach sounds like a great idea. Hope your stomach starts feeling better quickly.

Karen, Nope my DH is not a sports person. He is the hands on hobbiest. Exercise to him is something he avoids with due hast. :)

Sue, Sounds like you are going to have a busy weekend. I'm guessing you will be happy when the baseball is finally finished. Washington DC is another place that we want to get to with the girls. Just so much to see in that area.

Have a great weekend,

Laurie

Morning BB's,

Susan, have a nice time at the beach. It's so humid it's not even fun to go outside. I hope you feel better and get your workout in.

Laurie, Glad you are enjoying the premixes. I may have to do that rotation soon so I can expand the use of the dvds. Are you planning on getting any amy B. or Tracey S. new workouts?

Sue, have a wonderful weekend. Have fun watching baseball. Is the team getting better?

I'll try to get abs and a stretch in. My DH took off today because he was going to a 24 hour race in Wausaw but he bruised his ribs biking the other day and tore his rotator cuff so he's is not going so he doesn't hurt himself worse before our timetrial. We will bike later, probably 20 miles or so. We ended up going 25 the other night.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Karen, I hope your DH feels better soon! Ouch! How did he bruise his ribs?

Enjoy your rides! Susan

Susan - Have fun at the beach! That sounds like a nice relaxing way to spend the day.

Laurie - We're having trouble trying to decide what to see on our trip. Like you said, there's tons to do in that area. Not a bad problem to have. :7

Karen - Your DH sounds pretty banged up. Did he fall off the bike? My DH wants to know if your tandem is recumbent. He knows a couple who do this bike trip every year where they start with their rear tire in the Mississippi and end with their front tire in Lake MI. That can be your goal for next year. ;-)

Rest day for me today. I'm leaving work early to take DS to the eye doc and then to his game. 3 more bb games and we are done for the season! yeah! :7 :7 :7 Don't know what I'll do with all my free time.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Sue

Sue, yes, DH fell off his bike a couple of weeks ago actually. Our tandem is not recumbent. I suggested the bike trip and he said it's only a ride, not a race--we are racers. Today we are going 60 miles. I wasn't up for that but here I go. I had better eat something quick. It sounds like you have a busy afternoon. Yea for only 3 more games.
