Hi everyone!
Well, my weekend was something else! My DD11 had a sleepover birthday party to attend Friday night. I received a call at 1:30am saying my daughter was crying, could not catch her breath, heart rate very high, numbness in fingers and toes etc... I was able to talk to her and through the sobbing I heard that she had been punched 4 times right in the center of her chest by her "friend". Anyway, no one could get her to calm down so I went to get her. When I got there (way out in the boonies) she was still breathing ragged and I believed was suffering from hyperventilation. I ended up taking to the ER so they could get her to calm down. We had a wonderful male nurse who took control and was able to get her to breathe through her nose and out her mouth (she wouldn't listen to me) and calm her back to normal. They said she had the wind knocked out of her which then caused her to hyperventilate. We got home at 3:45 am! I was up at 7am and exhausted the rest of the day. Yesterday was spent getting things done that didn't get done on Saturday! I was pretty upset with the Mom of this party. Apparently BOYS were also spending the night in the tent. These were boys I did not know at all. Nothing was said to us parents about that. Also the kids were running all around the neighborhood with no adult supervision in the middle of the night. I am glad my daughter was so homest with me about all that went on but I am just angry at the whole situation.
Saturday I managed to do an hour of pilates and Sunday I jumped on the elliptical for an hour. Today is IMAX 2 and some lunge work.
Hope you ladies managed to have nice weekends!
