Morning BB's,

Yesterday I did leave early, but not because of the track meet. The nurse from my DD9's school called and said she was complaining of a stomach ache all day. Well got her home, (didn't look that sick to me!) and I determined that she must be slightly constipated! Guess what MOM was right!!!! :D

DD13 did ok in the meet she improved her mile time from 6:41 to 6:40. :)

Today I will be doing a 3 mile run and Leaner Legs!

Jill, I love the way your deck looks! You did an awsome job.

Have a great day!

Laurie

Laurie, thanks! I like it, too. It's so totally different. At least it will look nice if I end up having to stay here. The r/e market is so DEAD out here! :( Hope your DD is better today. :)

A county lady is coming over this morning. There are funds for disabled kids available through Walworth county. We signed up for the waiting list in 1997. We are now finally at the top. Believe it or not, 9 years later! I am not very hopeful; I don't think they pay out money for daycare, which is what we need it for. It's not just the money, it's finding someone. I need someone in-home. I can't take Travis to a stranger's house as he's not able to communicate well enough to know if it's going okay. I know one lady from church that said she would take care of him for summer, but she wants $10 and hour and that's just not feasible. I don't know if the county pays the people or just gives us the money. So I'll probably have to have Travis home with me all summer, and try to work somehow.

Have a great day girls!

Morning BBs,
Laurie - Sorry to hear DD9 wasn;t feeling well. Hope she is better. DD13 had another great track meet.

Jill - Your deck turned out great. Hope things go well with the lady from the county.

This morning I did Firm Super Body Sculpt. I sent off an email to the owner of the nursery about the guy that couldn't bother answering my questions and lost our business. I am interested to see if he responds.

Laurie - I've had to pickup DD at school for a stomach ache/constipation problem before, too. It's so frustrating. Your DD13 is doing great in the mile.

Jill - I love the contrast in your deck with the brown and white. The book I was reading yesterday was a kids book! LOL It's by the author of "Ella Enchanted". I've been interested in reading "The DaVinci Code", too, to see what all the hubbub is about. Most likely, I'll just rent the movie sometime even though the Catholic church is saying not to see it. (It's fiction for gosh sake!)

Marie - I hope that nursery owner responds to your email and offers you a big discount or free plants. Even if you don't take him up on it, it'll still be a moral victory.

Did High Step Challenge this morning. DD starts softball practice tonight.

Have a great day!

Sue

Marie, they'll probably offer you a discount on future services that you don't want! It's amazing some companies can stay in business with such crummy service.

Sue, I'm halfway through DaVinci and so far am not sure what the hubbub is all about. It's an okay book, but nothing spectacular IMO. I'm not Catholic so I'm allowed to see the movie. LOL I've seen the commercials; Tom Hanks looks so odd with that long hair. Yuck.

The county lady came and it went GREAT! We've been on the waiting list for 9 YEARS and are finally getting some help. We'll get $3,000 per year from now on, to help pay for care, pullups, computer programs, etc.... And the best part was stunning to me. They will hire DS16 to be DS13's caregiver for the summer! He'll be paid $8-$10 an hour, and the $3,000 will cover about 15 hours a week or so. I'm so happy! DS16 needs a job, but one with flexible hours, and I need someone to take care of DS13. I hope he wants to do it! What a load off my mind if this works out. I already told my friend and she said her daugter would love to do it, but I think she's too young (15).

Wish me luck!! I can't imagine he'd say no, but spending that much time with your little brother may not be that appealing lol.

Sue - great workout and in the morning! I don't know if I could do that in the morning. I am Catholic and amazed at the weird rules they come up with at times.

Jill - Congratulations on the assistance with DS. DS16 might like the job and getting to officially boss little brother!

I liked the Nursery and they had a great selection of very nice plants but the problem was with the one specific designer. I don't think he was doing a very good job representing the company. I hope the owner cares. So far no response but maybe he will talk to the designer first. I included my email with the questions and his response so nothing is left to interpretation.

Hi Everyone!

Long time since I have posted. I have been so busy with kids project and so forth that I have barely had time on the internet other than answering e-mails. I acn't wait till school is out. My 4th grader is getting a lot of work right now. School ends before Memorial Day out here. So only 10 days left.

I have been working out regularly. Though it is getting warm here, I still manage to workout even with no air on. Today it was 85 degrees upstairs, but I still managed an hour workout with lots of water. Surprisingly, the heat doesn't affect my workouts. It's suppose to get up to 102 by the weekend. The nights still cool off nicely though.

I will be in WI all of July so hopefully we can all get together. I am getting a month membership to the YMCA so the kids can take some swim classes and I may try a spinning class.

I'll Check-in soon. May have to check out Mindy's Bootcamp. Here it's awesome!

Cynthia

Hi, Cynthia! Man, I complain when it gets to 78 inside so I can't imagine working out at 85. 102 degrees - holy cow! Yeah, it would be great to get together in July. Which YMCA are you joining? We belong to the Waukesha one. Haven't tried Mindy's Bootcamp but I have other workouts of hers. Been spending a lot on home remodeling and repairs lately so trying to curtail my spending.

Take care.

Sue
