BUFF BADGERS 5/22

Hello Badgers! Hope you all had a good weekend. Mine was uneventful which is good I guess!

My DH asked me to take another week of low intensity exercise due to my heel. It was bothering me a tad Friday night. He said I should go one more week instead of risking hurting it more. I told him I'd think about it!
:)

This morning I walked very briskly for 35 minutes, abs for 15. After work I will do strength just haven't decided what yet!

I can't believe it's already close to Memorial Day. Time is flying by!

Have a great Monday- Susan

Morning, Susan and others that follow. Yes, time is flying by. I think there's only 12 more days of school left. The kids have a no school snow makeup day on Friday so I'm off. Appointments scheduled and plan to do some planting. Spent the weekend weeding and prepping my flowerbed.

On Saturday I did Power Hour. DD and DH were at Adventure Guides camp so DS and I went to the batting cages and played mini golf. Saturday night we watched Star Wars-Phantom Menace.

On Sunday I did Buns of Steel step workout with Lynn Brick - an oldie with very basic choreography but a good warmup to Imax3 1-5.

This morning was the bonus combo from PLB/PUB.

Have to work on decorations tonight at school for the 6th Grade Dinner. So far everything looks really cool. It's a sports theme with emphasis on Olympic sports. Someone is actully working on a tunnel for the kids to walk in like in a football stadium. Can't wait to see it once it all comes together.

Have a good Monday!

Morning BB's,

Yes it was a wonderful weekend. Instead of doing bodymax on Sunday the girls and I went for a bike ride. That was really fun. And felt good even after doing the 10 mile run on Saturday!

Today will be PUB.

My DD13 was saying that they don't have a full week of school left for the rest of the year. They both have off on Friday and Monday. And then the following week they are done with school. :D

Have a great day!

Morning ladies! I'm so happy this week is here-we get Friday off for a 4-day weekend! It's my first real time off since New Year's Day, so I'm excited. It will be busy though! Friday I have to get rummage stuff together. The village/town of East Troy has a huge community rummage, and people come from all over to go to them. I have a ton of stuff to sell since I'll (hopefully) be moving soon. I still need to find some neighbors that aren't having a rummage to borrow tables from, though. Saturday will be my actual rummage day, and then I'll be taking what's left of my stuff to my friend's house. I am having an open house/cookout on Sunday. Christy came up with a good idea---free hot dogs and a "casual" open house all day long. We know most of the people coming will be for the free hot dogs, but ya never know; someone might be interested. I only had one lady come yesterday again! :(

Susan, I agree with your DH. If it's still tender, don't push it or you might regret it!

Sue, that tunnel things sounds neat-I bet the kids will like it. How was the Star Wars movie? I haven't seen any of the newer ones, just the first three. Oh, you're a Lost fan! My relatives from California were visiting this weekend, and my cousin has been trying to become an actor for years. He's only had small parts, nothing big. But he told me that "Hurly" Jorge Garcia was in his acting class. Pretty cool!

Laurie, my kids do have school on Friday. And I'm glad-it will be easier to get my rummage organized without them here lol. I've never had one, so it will be interesting. Good for you for the bike ride! Mine is still in the basement. I've been spending my weekend days working on the house, cleaning the house, and doing yardwork. I can't wait to have a condo!

On Saturday night my mom and I and DS & his GF went to the Brewer game. We decided on preferred parking and lucked out and saw someone we knew, so she had us go up front. We were in the third row closest to the door! Boy we felt lucky! That is, until we got to the gate and found out it was sold out! We didn't have tickets! I've never gone to a game where you couldn't buy tickets at the door. What a bummer! So we paid $12 for parking for nothing. We couldn't even find any scalpers with 4 tickets. :(

I'll be doing TJ's CP1 this afternoon when my boss is gone to meetings. I have a few others on the way, as well as the whole Maximum Results package. I resisted for so long, then fell into it completely lol.

Have a great day ladies!

Hi BBs!
I did a 3 day planting workout and just 8 plants until we are done with phase 1. Maybe tomorrow night. Besides removing the old shrubs, we planted 28 shrubs, 28 perennials, and 30 other plants (annuals & tomoatoes). I found someone that works at a nursery that does landscape planning. She is coming over Wednesday to help me plan phase 2. I am trying to replace some of the perennials with shrubs plus the guy measured wrong and we have more space than he thought (and planned for). Maybe she can do better than the professional! I am hoping. My upper back and back of my thighs have some DOMS from the planting but not too bad.

This morning I did Leslie's Walk and Jog.

Jill - any word on how the open house went?

Hi Marie. Only one lady came through with her kids. She said mine is the first house she's looked at and just started. Whatever. This is such a bummer! Hopefully we'll get some traffic during the rummages next weekend. *sigh*

Jill -

I liked the Star Wars movie better than the first time I saw it in the movie theatre years ago. I think because now I know the whole story I'm not so confused! LOL That is so cool that your cousin was in the same acting class as Hurly!!! I didn't care for his character at first but he has really grown on me. So has your cousin acted in anything I might have seen?

Guess what? I ordered the TJ Maximum Results package, too! I'm so bad. Told myself I wouldn't order dvds for awhile but it's been at least a couple of months since I ordered anything and then Beachbody went and sent me a $25 off coupon so I couldn't resist!

Good luck at your rummage sale. DH keeps threatening to do one but I tell him I want no part of it. If we had something worth some value maybe but the payback is just not worth my free time. Would rather donate and take the tax deduction.

Hi Everyone!

It's cooler here today!! 73 degrees. I did IMax 3 and lowerbody from Ripped. It felt so good to workout and be comfortable. Suppose to be in the 50's tonight. Back up to 100's tomorrow. Bummer. Glad I got one good day.

2 1/2 days left of school. I am taking a sick day tomorrow. Need to get some things done before schools out. Will get to workout in the a.m. It should be cool in the morning.

Good workouts everyone!

Cynthia
