BUFF BADGERS 5/18

Hello there! I over slept this morning. I felt sick to my stomache last night and still a little yucky this morning. If I am better later I will take a long walk and do CTX upper body.

Looks like the rain will be leaving us soon. Now we just need to dry out! Next Monday they have a high of 77 here! I'll take it!

Have a great Thursday- Susan

77 Susan! I can't wait for those warm temps! I'm sick of the cool weather. And the RAIN-blech!! Hope you feel better soon.

I woke up with sore lats from CP1; the rest of the soreness will come tomorrow. It's always worst 2 days after for me. As soon as the bus comes this morning I'm going to do Body Fusion. I am trying to get my workout done before starting work-I hope I can stick to the plan. It was great having it done early and not feeling guilty all day!

Have a great sunny day!

Morning BB's,

Today is a 3 mile run and CTX Shoulders, Biceps and Triceps. Probably will do something from Ab Hits also.

Track meet was rained out yesterday. On the way home the sun came out. x(

I'm really looking forward to the sunny weather also. But in the back of my mind I'm still thinking of all the mosquitoes that will be out once the sun decides to hatch them. :(

On that note, have a great day!

Laurie

Happy Thursday (Friday for me :)) BBs!

Susan - Hope you feel better soon.

Jill - good to see you getting back into your routine. I will be glad to see the rain gone too. We needed rain but this was ridiculois.

Laurie - I thought about the impact on the mosquito population too. You have a great workout planned for today.

I did TJ Cardio Party Remix. I am happy if I get up and do something. Tomorrow the planting begins which will be quite the total body workout.

AI talk - Elliot is gone! :( Now I vote for Katherine. Taylor is OK and entertaining but I don't see him as the AI. Katherine seems more like Kelly Clarkson - excellent voice and a lot of potential.

Hi Laurie-Taylor's practice got rained out yesterday, too. It looks like it will be a go for the game today though.

Marie-is Remix the short 20-minute one? Enjoy your "Friday" today!

CPR is a little over 30 minutes. This is from the Live series. It has 2 back-to-back turbos in it.

Hi, BBs! Agree with every on the rain. Rain, rain go away! (and don't come back for awhile)

My back feels fatigued today after helping unload and sort flowers yesterday. What a fiasco that turned out to be! Our company has been doing this for about 5 years - putting together a bulk order and offering employees the ability to order flats, hanging baskets, potted plants at wholesale prices. The flowers were always great quality and the prices so cheap, it was a great perk. This year we had to order through a new grower since the old grower went out of business. They only delivered about half of what we ordered with NO EXPLANATION (or apparent concern) and the stuff we did get was very poor quality. I could go on and on but I won't. Just glad it's not my headache to figure out the refunds.

This morning I did Step Max. Fun workout but those outfits gotta go! LOL

Tried the core DVD from McDonald's last night. It is very weird working out with a computer-generated instructor. They try to animate her a little bit and move her head back and forth while we're resting between exercises but it just looks weird. The workout itself was very easy. Certainly no Core Max! I will probably give this one away. BTW, it includes 4 workouts, each 15 minutes long - with or without the stability ball, easy or harder. For entertainment, I may try doing it in Spanish! LOL

Marie - Have fun on your day off! Don't overdo it with the planting tomorrow.

Sue

Sue, LOL @ doing it in Spanish!

Sad news today........my son's GF broke up with him yesterday. :-( :-( :-( He didn't say a word last night. Her mom is my best friend, so she called this morning, figuring DS hadn't said anything. I could tell he was kinda cranky, but I didnt' even imagine it was that. He wasn't expecting it at all; he just asked me the other night if they'll be allowed to go to post-prom next year. Poor boy. I know he'll get over it, but it breaks my heart to think how he must be hurting. :(

Jill - No sage words of advice but I'm sorry your son brokeup with his girlfriend. Boy, oh, boy - DATING! Hope I don't have to worry about that for a few years yet.

Sue

Sue, I had to LOL on the Spanish one also. I have been wondering what those DVD's where like, guess I may pass on those also. Does the animated person look like Barbie. LOL My DD9 was watching one of her Barbie DVD's and they just seem so disjointed. :D

Jill, so sorry to hear about your sons break-up with his GF. This is going to be hard for him. It is a good thing that it was at the end of the school year. Sometimes they get so caught up in the emotional mess, they have a hard time with the homework. :(

Marie, have fun with the planting. We did quite a bit last year, and I must say it was fun to see the end results. :)

Laurie

Sue & Laurie---SHE dumped HIM, so it's very tough! I just wish she could have waited a couple of weeks until school was over. At least then everyone wouldn't know right away. I'm sure he feels some embarassment at being dumped. My poor baby!

Jill, and so much harder when you have to see her in the hallways everyday! And of course he is a boy, so no hugging or any of that stuff from MOM! :-( I will give you cyber hugs, because you will need it too. {{{{{HUG}}}}

Laurie

Sue - But how was the salad? Is the company you got the plants from a place I might go to and should avoid?

Jill - Sorry to hear about your son's heartbeak. Did she give him a reason? I hope he gets over it fast and meets someone even better!

I think we have at least 30 shrubs to plant - to start with. Besides taking out the old stuff. Could be more shrubs besides the perennials but that is next weekend - weather permitting. I want to buy tomoato plants this weekend and get them in the ground too.

Marie -

Don't know the name of the grower but they are on Rawson Ave. near the airport so probably not a place you'd go to. If I find out the name I'll be sure to tell everyone I know! }(

The salad was okay - not great. I prefer the Cobb salad.

Sue

Thanks for the hugs Laurie.

I think me and Christy feel as bad as the kids do. :(

Marie, no reason given, not yet anyway. I know Christy will tell me when she finds out. I can only think she must like someone else. Why else would you dump a good-looking, honor-roll student, good athlete that treats you like a princess? That's the criteria for 15 y/o girls yet, isn't it? LOL

Jill -
If I wasn't married and 27 years younger, I'd date him! :) LOL
Sue

LOL Sue! Christy is all bummed out cuz she knows when K wants to start dating another boy, she'll be stunned to find a new set of rules. Christy gave her a lot of leeway because we are family friends and she knows me and trusts me with K here. It won't be the same when they don't know the boy's parents and values, etc....and she won't be allowed to drive with any other boy. She's going to be sorry!

This was just last Friday. She looked pretty comfy and happy to me! She fell asleep while we were watching a movie. And he let his arm fall asleep instead of moving her! He's so sweet!

Jill - It is going to be her loss but I am betting she will change her mind and want to get back with him. It might be that some other guy looks more exciting at the moment but the grass usually is not so green. She might be going through a stage where she thinks someone that doesn't treat her so well is more exciting and more of a challenge. SOme are attracted to the bad boy type that treats them not so well. I hope you find out more soon and be sure to share it with your BB buddies. Maybe when the word gets out at school a bunch of other girls will be calling to help him get offer her! He is a very good looking boy so I would think there are plenty of others that will be eager to fill her spot.

Jill, My High School sweetheart and I broke up about 3-5 times over the 4 years we dated. As was said, you always think the grass is greener but it never was... By the looks of your son, I bet she'll be back! :) Handsome boy! Susan

OMG you guys! It lasted 24 hours. GF changed her mind! So DS won't even know I knew lol. Good God I hope they don't do that back and forth thing, Susan! I can't take it !LOL
Thanks for the support you guys!
