Morning BB's,

This morning was Power Yoga with Kristin McGee, will see if I get anything in tonight. If I do it will probably be Box'n'Flow with Kimberly Spreen. Saturday was KPC, and Sunday was a short run after church. Nice day out, so couldn't resist. ;)

Have a great day!

Good Morning,

Today I am doing GS chest/tri and 20 min rock tv interval cardio.

Laurie, I should have run over the weekend also but I sort of have it in my head I am taking off on the weekends and now I can't get out of the mentality. Nice workouts you got in over the weekend. Power Yoga is on my Christmas list.

Have a great day.

Just got home from PT conferences. This a.m. was plyo legs...Karen, that really would be a great HIIT workout...don´t know if I could finish it, tho!

This weekend was 4DS kicbox and then I pulled a "Laurie" ;) and did a 2 mile run...it actually felt good after the leg workout :)

Karen, I looked at that rock tv and after getting over the fake boobs, was quite impressed ;) I even ordered one of those gymboss timers. We´ll see if I use it much

Have a good Tues everyone!

Good Morning,

Today I am doing some type of cardio.

Lala, I put the Gymboss on my Christmas list this year. I hope I get one. I keep doing her interval one because I can have her time it for me. Funny you should mention the boobs. She could wear some more clothes too. You got a lot of good workouts in over the weekend. Legs and running on the same day you guys are crazy. If I can finish the plyo, you can finish it. Besides, you are our Imax blast only girl.

Hi to everyone else.

What workout should I do today?

Morning BB's,

Today was a 2.5 mile run on the TM, and the Kb portion of Box'n'flow with Kimberly Spreen. Guess I didn't get that done yesterday. :D

Lala, Ok so another gadget that is a must have? I'm guessing that the gymboss timer works better than a stop watch on your wrist? ;) Sounds like something that I NEED! I like the "pulling a Laurie". :D It is nice to just get in a short run sometimes. It's funny how your legs don't start "talking" to you until later in the day! :D

Karen, I think that your Christmas list is probably as big as mine. :D I walked DH to the fitness area of Walmart on Saturday, and showed him ALL the things I would like. Then dragged him to the pots & pans! Told him I don't want any of these things for Christmas! :D

Have a great day!

Laurie, nice job letting DH know you don't want pots and pans. That is cute. yes, my list is getting bigger by the minute.

I ended up doing B&G,Imax 3 blasts and stretchmax. I pulled a Laurie and a Lala. I am going to Mall of America on Thurs. with a friend so I am trying to rearrange my workout schedule so as not to miss a workout.

Susan, did you get the Kettlebell?:)

Hello ladies! Sorry I was so busy yesterday! I forgot to check-in! Saturday was tiring for me. Running around for 6 hours with errands!:( Sunday I got on the elliptical for an hour and did pilates stretching. Monday I ran 3.5 in the morning and did ab work and buns & thighs pilates. Today I am doing KPC. However, I have been having the worst charley horses today! Right in my hams! Ouch! So I don't know how great my kicks will be today!

Karen, I went to Play It Again and they were out of the 20# KB I want so he said he'd order some and call me when they arrive. The coupon I have (10 dollars off) is good until the end of the year!

Laurie, you are doing some great workouts! Good job showing your hubby what you do and do not want! Now, let's see how good of attention he was paying! LOL!;)

Lala, I have never heard of the Gymboss but I will have to look into it! I swear my DH hates me logging in here cause I get so many new ideas! :p

Got to watch Biggest Loser tonight too! Off to KPC ! Have a good night!

Susan

Hi,

I am doing GS back/bi/shoulders and Extreme Kettlebell cardio from Keith Webers dvd. Taking tomorrow off to go to Mall of America.

Susan, lots of running around you did over the weekend. Glad you did KPC yesterday instead of taking the nap. I think the Gymboss will be awesome. You could use it for running outside, doing anything for a given time. I was fine with the person who went home last night. It should be fun to watch next week and see which of last years contestants have kept the weight off.

Today is early release so I am driving the boys to meet their dad to practice shooting at a range. Have to get ready for this weekend. DS12 first year for hunting. DD7 has a friend coming over and church is tonight.

Do you guys think I could continually lift 25-30 pounds up to 70 for 3-5 hours?

Have a good day.

Morning BB's,

This morning was One on One 5-6 Cardio Plus with Tony. I have had this DVD for a long time, but never tried it before. This was a good workout, but I think it could have been so much better. Tony started out the workout saying that he really didn't want to do this. Apparently Tony had a really hard workout the day before, so I don't think that he was able to put his all into this. The workout consisted of 3 rounds of 3 exercises, each exercise done 3 times. The stretch at the end was really very good, so I liked the workout. But I think that Tony took way to much time trying to catch his breath!

Karen, Have a great time tomorrow at the MOA! Of course you can't miss a workout! :D Did you see the thread on the OP about a different interval timer than the gymboss? How are you lifting the weight? Is it in your legs? That seems like a long time, is it for a contest? So many questions, but if it is your legs then you probably could. ;)

Susan, Dang Charley Horses! Start eating your potatoes, bananas and milk. ;) Hope your workout goes well today, Tony had a bad hamstring, so that was his excuse for not giving his all. :D

Well ladies DD16 passed her test for her temps. Does that smilie look kind of worried? :D I'm sure she will be fine at driving, but now I have a feeling that I will be a passenger more than the driver. :D

Have a great day!

Hi Ladies!

I survived KPC, at least my hams did! They are sore though! Did not run this morning, just walked. I will be doing Mindy's Awesome Interval floor work followed by her Pump Party today.

Karen, is that lifting for a job opening? If your back and legs and strong enough I would think you could. Sounds like a tough one!:)

Laurie, I dread when my DD12 gets her liscence! Good luck!

Hi Sue & Lala!

Hi gals,

Yes the lifting is for a UPS job loading and unloading boxes the whole time.

Laurie, I didn't see the OD thread on a different timer, I will have to go check it out. Glad you enjoyed the workout even with Tony's excuses. Congrats to DD on her temps. My DS got his temps on Mon. He has been driving everywhere. Are you saying I should get up early and get a workout in. Probably right, but I don't think it will happen.

Susan, nice job on getting through the workout when you didn't feel like it. You really didn't wish you would have napped instead, did you? Glad you got a good walk in this am. Have fun with Mindy.

Have to fill out an application for Quick Trip and drop my completed one off at Farm and Fleet. Don't know about the UPS one. Not sure I'd be able to take care of my family.

Morning BB's,

Today I only was able to get in a 2.5 mile run on the TM, but dang was I sweating! It was getting in my eyes! I upped my pace, so that probably accounts for the sweat! :D Still want to get in some yoga tonight, want to try the One on One Fountain of Youth workout that Tony made.

Karen, I'm sure that you are on the road to the MOA! Hope you have a great time shopping! I think that you could lift that heavy of boxes, I do it everyday for my job. I get the packages that FedExp drops off, because most of them that are delivered here are what I have ordered! Now Farm and Fleet would be a good one to get too! They have all those great prices on nuts! :D :D Good luck with the job hunt!

Susan, How are your legs feeling today? Good idea on not pushing your legs to run, you probably would have been disapointed in your performance.

Have a great day!

Hi, gals! Sorry to be MIA again but I've been doing my walk during lunchtime instead of on the forum.

Karen - I think you can handle the UPS job, too. I wouldn't want to do something like that full-time, permanently though. I look at the guys in the shop - especially our Receiving guy who handles all incoming packages - and he looks sore all the time. The way he walks and moves - he's not as peppy as he used to be 20 years ago. I wonder how much of that is because of the heavy lifting and how much is just getting older.

Laurie - Temps! Yikes!! DD is only a year away from that (gulp). Funny about showing DH what you want/don't want for Christmas. I actually want new dishes this year. Of course, I want to pick them out. And I want fitness stuff, too. (of course)

Susan - Whatever made your hams sore I hope they're feeling better. Thought of you this morning while I was doing Pilates.

This is what I've done so far this week:

Sunday - Slo Mo Chest, Bis, Tris + Rumble Bag Combos & Combo 1 (forgot about sweaty that bagwork makes me - good low impact cardio)
Monday - Prevention FCF cardio + 30 min. walk
Tuesday - Slo Mo Back & Shoulders + 30 min. walk
Wednesday - BFBM + 30 min. walk (the more I do BFBM, the more I like it)
Thursday - 10 min. Pilates leg toning (Exercise TV) + 10 min. legs & buns (Cindy Whitmarsh - Exercise TV) + 30 min. walk

Want to get more legwork and cardio in tonight.

Those of you getting Gymboss timers will have to let me know how you like them. Sounds like a cool little gadget. I only watched 1 of those workouts and I agree completely about the fake boobs and scanty clothes! LOL

DD tried out for basketball but didn't make the team. Not many kids had signed up so the coach told her she'd probably make it. At the last minute 5 girls showed up and they were all good according to DD. I'm not surprised since she hasn't played other than gym class. She was really upset last night.

My BL contest is still going well. I'm down 2 pounds since the last checkin but still holding steady at 10 pounds total. I had that big dinner last week and a family potluck on Sunday so not doing too badly. I hope to be down another pound at least by Monday (next checkin).

HI ladies! No real workout today! Woke up with a sore throat, headache, and a stuffy nose (thank you DH!) so I just walked Ruby. After school I had to take DD for an orthodontist check, then the eye doctor for a contact lenses check, then drop off car to be worked on tomorrow. Just got back from DD's parent/teacher conferences!

DD needs to have 4 baby teeth pulled then in 6 months we will go back to the ortho to discuss braces. She is excited about getting contacts though!;) Her conferences went well.

Tomorrow there is no school so also no work for me. Since I will be stranded without a car I hope to get a lot done around here! I want to run with Ruby, do IMAX 2, and then later BFBM, then walk the 2 miles to the service station to pick up my fixed car! On top of that I want to get my housework done for the weekend! Wish me luck!!

Sue, congrats on your weight loss! Looks like you are getting in some great workouts. I agree with you, the more I do BFBM the more I like it too! I am really interested to see her new one come out Dec. 1st!

Laurie, did you get your yoga in? My legs are feeling pretty good today! I have been having a tough time with my heel spurs the past couple weeks though. Think it's time for new in-soles!

Karen, hope you had a great time at MOA!

Hi Lala! Are ya relaxin'??

Take care- Susan

Morning BB's,

Well I finally was able to get in One on One Fountain of Youth. Tony of course can't keep his mouth shut, but it is a good 45 min workout. I like that he makes me laugh. :D Last night I tried out a new workout Kettlenetics Core Balance, it uses a really light kettlebell of 4#. I don't think that kettlebells will be a purchase for me, but I did enjoy this workout. Sweat was pouring off my face. I like that this was a very low impact, but got the HR going.

Sue, Great workouts you have been getting in, and congrats on the weight loss! You are very motivated. BFBM really is a good workout, and I like getting it in at least once a week. Sorry to hear about your DD's experience with BB. :( I actually do want a cast iron roaster, but I'm going to get that one not at Christmas. :D

Susan, WOW! Your day is full! Hope you get everything done that you need to. As you can see I did manage to get my yoga in, glad your legs are feeling better. Oh yes, you should make a stop to get new insoles! :D

If I have time tonight I am thinking of Core Synergistics, must be on a Tony kick! :D Saturday will be kickboxing, I'm probably going to do the 10 min. Solutions Knockout. Sunday will be a short run of 2.75 miles, then Monday starts Meso 3! :D

Have a great day!

Good Morning,

Today I am doing BFBM and maybe a workout from rocktv. Should be able to get a run in tomorrow because DH will be gone hunting.

Laurie, you are on a Tony kick. Kettlenetics is not a good workout to give you a real idea about kettlebells. I think if you got the right weight you would love them. Where did you get the dvd from? Sounds like you had a great run yesterday.

Sue, you are really good at mixing and matching workouts. You are really upping your workouts. I am going to have to pull out Slo Mo soon. Good job on your weight loss. I think you are going to take it all. Sorry DD didn't make the team. I wish everyone that wanted to could play in the school sports. That's what I liked about cross country, everyone got to run.

Susan, hope you are feeling better. That is a lot of cardio you are going to get in today. I'd be dead. You had a busy day yesterday. Enjoy your day off cleaning and doing exercise.

Take care all.

PT conferences this week, so once I got home, I crashed! I know that many you consistently work 12 hour days, so I will try not to whine

but I did get my workouts in! Tues: STS 8 (chest, bis, shoulders) Wed: I got in a short run, thurs: STS 10 (tris and back) and today DAY OFF :D:D I swam for an hour using itrain.

Sue, sorry about DD...it still surprises me how these kids choose so early which sport they will play. i always liked my kids to try different sports, but it seems that by 5th grade some of these kids are on traveling teams and if you aren´t, you won´t play. It´s too bad, really. You are being really consistent in your workouts and weight loss :) keep it up...we are all rooting for you!

Susan, get better! did you get all your workouts in today? I got exhausted just reading them

Laurie, got my gymbot , but haven´t used it yet! LOL about the pot and pans! My gifts are usually fitness...for my bd I got the high step :D

Karen, how was MOA? I really like going there ;) although I was able to help out our economy in appleton the other weekend :D Hope your guys are successful in their hunting. do you have lots of venison recipes?

Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi ladies! So far I ran 3 miles and did IMAX2. I need to walk the 2 miles to pick up my car yet... As for BFBM? That may just have to wait until tomorrow! Cathe kicked my butt today!

Karen, so did ya get any shopping done yesterday? My DH is busy hunting all weekend as well. He also bow hunts but has not gotten one yet. Hopefully his luck will turn this weekend. We need more meat in the freezer!:)

Laurie, are you excited about Meso 3 starting?

Sue, sorry DD did not make the team.:( Lala is right about those kids on the travel teams ect. We were basically told if our DS wanted to play High School sports, we better have him on travel teams now. He started those last year in 4th grade!

Lala, hope you enjoy your day off! Where do you swim? I don't know about Karen, but I have an awesome venison recipie book that I use religiously! Great recipies in it!

I have no big plans for the weekend. Need to sit down and plan Sunday School lesson this afternoon. Hope to finish a book I am reading. Otherwise, nice and quiet!

Take care- Susan
